It's a red-letter day in the Fisch household, because Vesna's favorite otome series, Moon Factory, just came out with a brand new game! Vesna made Lorenzo buy it for her right away, but it's so new that she still hasn't decided which anime character she wants to date yet. She wants to start the game off right, so she needs to decide right away! Can you help her choose the best anime boyfriend?
This is a silly game to come up with your own otome game character! The more ridiculous the better. It runs from July 25th-30th.

He talks to trees like I do 'cause it's fun and trees are neat and know lotsa things." tragic past: "Um, so first of all he had, um, this HUGE house when he was little. Over a hundred bathrooms!! And a big garden that his mama liked to plant stuff in and he had a papa and a gran'ma and a doggy and a kitty. OH, the kitty is his lil' sister, they can all turn into kitties.. anyway!! These bad guys came and told his mama, 'RAUGH, WE DON'T LIKE PLANTS,' and she says, 'BUT PLANTS ARE GOOD,' but the bad guys said 'NO' and they stomped on her plants and made her sad, and then Toby came and yelled at them and fought them but they just took his family away and burned his house down. And Toby was Real Sad but then he remembered Mama's Special Crayons but the bad guys found 'em first and stomped all over them and then it was raining and he was cryin' real bad. character name: Laurel Aurelius character type: Demon shota, the kind you protect, nurture, and feed cake to. occupation: "The patron saint of felines, plushies, and cake." In reality, he's just head "plushie surgeon" at a doll hospital, but he's never lost a patient! tragic past: Laurel was summoned in a ritual by a group of dark mages who were trying to bring forth a being that would make them invincible. However, one of the mages had substituted the Himalayan Pink salt required for glittering pink sugar that he'd used for cupcakes the night prior, and the result of this was little baby Laurel. Being far too sweet and innocent to destroy the world, the dark mages sent him to live with a neighboring sorceress, and decided to never summon a being of chaos the night after their annual bake sale.
After being raised for eighteen years by the sorceress (and somehow not learning how to use magic at all), it was apparent that Laurel would literally never lose his baby face and that he'd forever look around the age of a younger teenager. This didn't bother him very much, until he tried to find a job and found that literally no one took him seriously. It wasn't until a few years after his 18th birthday that he found his niche as a toy doctor that his life started to come full circle. However, he's always in the neighborhood for a nursing assistant!

character name: Beauregard Lacroix character type: Deredere occupation: Figure skater
tragic past: Born into a family line of famous athletes, there was a lot of pressure placed on him to be a successful athlete. His two older brothers, one is a distinguished football (that's soccer for you silly Americans) player, the other is a talented tennis player. Beauregard's parents wanted him to be an Olympic swimmer, just like his father. However, Beauregard was adamant about being a figure skater, something that the family do not regard as a manly sport, and highly frowned upon.
Beauregard worked very hard to be a figure skater though, and he did made it into the winter Olympics at the age of eighteen. Which only appeased his family a little bit. But by holding his head high and being positive and passionate about his life, he has the courage to strive towards an even brighter future.
one distinguishing physical feature: A beauty mole under his eye. catchphrase: "You're a star!!" or "You're my star~" (It's something he used to say to himself in the mirror when he was down from family pressure) favorite gift: Anything handmade by the protagonist. least favorite gift: Suntan lotion weapon of choice: The blade on his skates.
describe one heart event: On a date with Beauregard at the amusement park. It's where you realize that Beauregard has the lithe and beauty of a penguin on land. He can be quite the klutz sometimes and did very poorly in the games at the park. If you choose to laugh at him at his failure, he will say goodbye and depart when you exit the amusement park. If you console him and gets a plushy for him, he will walk you home and possibly give you a goodnight kiss on your cheek if your relationship points is high enough.

character name: Eachan Caval character type: Delusional occupation: Student tragic past: When Eachan was five, his parents had decided to go on a family holiday in the highlands with him where the air was fresh and the scenery unspoilt. However as luck would have it, a massive landslide occurred during their stay and the Caval family found themselves victims of the disaster. Neither parents survived and young Eachan was found by rescue workers several hours later hugging an old unicorn plushie named Carla.
As his parents had been relatively wealthy and there was money to be had from this, Eachan was quickly adopted by his aunt and uncle who just as quickly bundled him off to the furthest and most dismal boarding school they could find.
Life at the bleak boarding school would have been unbearable for Eachan had it not been for Clara who seemed to offer the young lad much comfort. Bullying and ragging by the seniors of the dorm also seemed to be minimal much to the surprise of many but if one were to dig around, there were many rumours to be had concerning the young boy and his odd toy and some of these rumours were especially sinister. Like that one time when that bully was found hanging by his…
But the school had wrote it off as a case of stress and unable to cope with life’s pressure.
Nevertheless from that day on, students kept away from Eachan and Eachan kept to himself with his books and…Carla. Oh yes, always with Carla the unicorn plushie. Eachan might now be in his final year at school but the unnerving plushie is always seen close by him. Either discreetly tucked away in his schoolbag or outrightly held in his arms.
one distinguishing physical feature: Right fringe has a white “Mallen” streak on it. catchphrase: It will be alright. favorite gift: Novels least favorite gift: Scented candles weapon of choice: Carla describe one heart event: Throughout the game, you will have to constantly interact with and gain Eachan’s trust while at the same time collect clues and evidences to prove that Carla is not as innocent as she seems. During the final cutscene, if Eachan trusts you enough, he will severe his ties with Carla and leave the dilapidated school hand in hand with you at the end of the school year.
But if you fail to build up enough trust or evidence, Eachan will opt to stay with Carla and the possessed plushie has now marked you as a threat. Your days are numbered.

character name: Sebastian Radcliffe character type: Tall, Dark & Handsome occupation: Vintner; he owns a winery called God’s Folly tragic past: Sebastian was born into a prominent family with a background in politics. Unfortunately, as his father ran for a local office, he was assassinated by a rival politician. His mother was never the same after that, and after a while, she took ill with an illness that even the doctors couldn’t diagnose. She passed away a few months later with what everyone claimed was “a broken heart”.
After that, Sebastian moved in with his maternal grandparents who also came from a background of wealth. The young boy’s relationship with his grandparents was never really the same once he came to live with them. He reminded them of his mother, and because of this they pushed Sebastian’s care onto the staff that they employed in their house.
As time went on, Sebastian eventually grew up to follow his own path. Instead of a life of politics, he was drawn into the world of wine and winemaking. This profession has seemed to be the only good thing in the young man’s life. He rarely mentions his history or where he comes from as it brings him too much pain. tragic past: Stacy has been living with one Arcus Fowl for as long a he can remember. From boyhood he was mystified by the autonomous brooms and levitating flora animating the narrow townhouse the two of them lived in.
There were always visitors, odd creatures that could only appear in the night or bathed in moonlight. All of them mentors to the growing boy. A Vampire named Nikolai Romanov taught him the importance of command presence that the toxicity of bullets while a werewolf named Rahib Shankar mentored him in the importance of a well balanced diet. When Arcus was away he'd have a rotation of strong figures raising him.
Now it was his turn to learn from Master Fowl. He'd been taught in the power of divination, potion creation, scrying and a very strict dress code. Until one day, while practicing verbal spells he'd turned his powerful teacher into a goose... He is still researching methods to turn him back.

He'll be chasing a frog, tears in his eyes and lose said frog into the cattails by the pond. Stacy will slump onto his hands and knees and cry out "knickers".
1. You have the option to go over and help him out -> {+100 RP) Startle him but he'll explain he lost his cat "Mouse"- well he was a cat but he had an accident now he's a frog.
OR
2. You can sit there and wait until he turns around and notices you before asking what's wrong -> (+10 RP) again he'll explain the same scenario.
Then:
a. Mock his lack of skill as a wizard and tell him he probably should find another line of work -> (-200 RP) He will flush and make an excuse as to why he needs to continue this search alone... and then ask how he'd be as a baker instead- before you answer he'll say that's silly he can't even make a potion right and end the scene.
b. Say something encouraging like how brave it is he's doing this alone and look how far he's come. He's making incredible progress! -> (+100 RP) His spirits will lift and he'll cast the correct spell turning the frog BACK INTO A CAT it will scamper away now that it's soaking wet in water. He'll have great cheer and count fireflies and say thank you and make a comment of your kind aura and how the fireflies bring the stars out in your eyes. He'll ask for your hand- comment on how soft it is and say in his welsh vowels- "You have very strong palm lines! I see greatness in your future! --- not really, I'm not there yet but I plan to be. And I do hope for great things in your future!"

Only the descendants of the true gentleman thief can steal the remnants of the ghost-demon's heartmeats before he feeds off of pure heartmeat and gains all its magical power! Alas, Kokoro found that he was indeed this descendent, and under his love's command, went to free the father--only to find out… ah…

Vivi: YES. He had to defeat her and retreat! But his betrayal burns! Now he steals the meats and fears of the love! Only when he opens his own heartmeats can he reach his true gentleman thief potential.

character name: Mercer (the player can learn his first name if they earn enough hearts with him) character type: Stoic badboy with a heart of gold, kuudere, he doesn't emote very much but he will blush with a perfectly straight face if he thinks things are cute and can be affectionate when he's comfortable. occupation: Forest Ranger tragic past: His older brother is a poacher and he was unable to stop his brother from unnecessarily harming wildlife. He followed his brother into the woods to try and stop him during a hunt. The encounter left him scarred and feeling betrayed. It was the last time he saw his brother and it has haunted him ever since. Now he works officially to combat poachers, trespassers, and dangerous entities to protect the forest and all its animals. one distinguishing physical feature: A scar on his face that is just big enough to gain sympathy but small enough that it doesn't detract from his attractiveness (in fact, it makes him a little more handsome). catchphrase: “Be careful. I might not be there to help you.” favorite gift: Anything to do with animals but specifically bears least favorite gift: Jewelry weapon of choice: Dagger describe one heart event: If you enter the fourth screen of the forest during Fall any time on a day that it isn't raining you will find a fox caught in a rope trap. You have the option of freeing the fox. Once free, it will run away and Mercer will appear to ask if you helped it. He will thank you for doing so. Returning the next day, you will find an empty bear trap. Interacting with it will cause Mercer to appear again to dismantle it himself. He seems perturbed as these instances are becoming more frequent and asks you to keep any eye out for anything suspicious. Entering the forest any time between 20:00 and 23:00 following this will trigger an event where you overhear Mercer confronting a hunter. After a disagreement, the hunter flees and you are able to trip him with a stick so that Mercer can catch up to him. The scene fades out and Mercer reunites with you to express his gratitude; he didn't expect you to care so much about what happened to the animals here and, as thanks, he gives you a whistle that the animals are fond of. As a result, you unlock the ability to befriend animals and take them home as pets. character name: Khozen character type: Boy-next-door but also a dragon. occupation: Blacksmith. Despite being a large dragon normally, he possesses an attractive human form that actually fits in his smithy. tragic past: Khozen became an orphan at a very young age, when his parents were brutally murdered by dragon hunters. He might have shared the same fate, if not for the opportune arrival of a blacksmith who had come in search of cast-off scales to use in his work. Instead he found a small dragon who had escaped the slaughter. The blacksmith took him in and, once Khozen learned to assume his human form, trained him in his craft. Before he had mastered this technique, he was very lonely, and many other townspeople were wary of having a dragon in their midst. The only people aside from his adoptive father who took an interest in him were the other non-humans in town: Achaeus and the protagonist. Despite having little else in common, the three became fast friends.
As Khozen grew older, he produced a lot of scales, which enabled his adoptive father to produce high-quality flameprooof armor that was in high demand. When he retired, Khozen took over the business. one distinguishing physical feature: Medium-length white hair that regularly gets streaked with soot. catchphrase: “I apologize for how warm it is in here.” favorite gift: Iron ore. least favorite gift: Dragonscale armor lacking “Dragon Safe” certification. weapon of choice: His fire breath, which he sometimes employs in his work. describe one heart event: Khozen invites the protagonist to join him at one of Achaeus’s curling games. character name:Apples Achaeus. Only the protagonist and Khozen are allowed to call him Apples. character type: Pegasus Knight slash Childhood Friend occupation: He is a knight, who also happens to be a pegasus, who also happens to have a hot human form because that’s how these games work, or so I hear. tragic past: Achaeus was deemed a bad omen by his birth clan when he was still young. Not because of his jet-black hair and feathers, which were normal in his family, but because he was unable to assume a perfect human form. No matter how much he practiced, his wings refused to vanish; though they were too small in his assumed form to allow flight, they were too large to hide under his clothing. When it became clear that he would never be able to disguise his true nature completely, his clan, nomadic by nature, left him behind. He was taken in by a family of farmers with a large apple orchard, who treated him with love and kindness, but he was too hurt to recognize their feelings. It wasn’t until he met other non-humans, including a dragon who couldn’t yet take human form, that he started to open up to others.
After Achaeus had been living with the farmers for a few years, the farm was attacked by monsters, and a band of knights was dispatched to deal with them. Achaeus was dazzled by their fancy armor, their keen swordsmanship, and most of all, their ability to protect others. His adoptive family was supportive when he announced his desire to join their ranks, but the road to knighthood was not easy, especially not for a would-be warrior with extra appendages. Achaeus’ wings were constantly getting in the way during training, and meant that all of his uniforms and armor had to be custom-made, without providing him with the benefit of flight. Moreover, his kinship with the pegasi and horses used by most knights made him uncomfortable with riding them, preventing him from utilizing the tactics available to mounted warriors.
Despite these setbacks and more, and after a great deal of work, he was finally able to attain his knighthood. Now he spends most of his time practicing his skills, hanging out at Khozen’s smithy to get his armor adjusted, and playing in the castle’s curling league. one distinguishing physical feature: Extremely durable nails. If she accepts, he asks where she’d like to go. Suggesting the castle gardens or town square will yield a small number of friend points, though the picnic will get rained out. If she suggests his family’s orchard, the picnic goes as planned, until they are attacked by a monster. Achaeus drives the monster away, before coming to check on the protagonist. If she thanks him for rescuing her, he admits that he always wanted to protect someone just like this, and thanks her in return, resulting in a large gain of friend points.
