█ BACKGROUND
Matoko isn't wasn't an official slave...its more like he was just abandoned by his parents in a very bad part of town. It was almost like his parents had all but sold him. So he was never officially registered or enslaved. He found himself growing up in the slums where he ended up getting into some minor crimes later in life. Ending up with a parole officer the first time. When he got out he was back on the streets and ended up getting his a** nearly kicked. He was young..it happens. A member of the ghost gang saved his life and he sort of...followed him home. A few years after this that gangster ended up dead and he stayed with them. Training and honing his natural strength so he could protect and spy for the people he feels indebted to. Besides...they are cool people...fun loving and good food.. He strips in the local strip clubs and sometimes risks work in other places if he wants to spy or keep an eye on anyone willing to peddle in other gangster territory.
The fact he is an illegal slave isn't wasn't something he likes to mention. He was given jail time again for a misunderstood private stripper dance under the accusation of...solicitation. He still can't help but be offended by this. As well as having apparently too much over the counter tylenol medicine on his personage...its usually there for the spectators safety...lap dances from a vampire aren't always gentle for...humans. He is now awaiting to find out who is his parole officer...THIS time and he really still feels it was unjustified to call the scene the cops happened on...solicitation. He sure as hell didn't get any good times out of it.
His third time was the last straw....or rather he was just that damn loyal he took the blame for crimes others did and covered for them. s**t happened and next thing he knew...hello slave chip trinkets goodbye 'freedom'. He ended up registered in the Slave Registry and still remains one to this day. He isn't very high on the totem pole. He is mostly there for looking good and is more than willing to be used as a sex partner. He might be enslaved but he could have it worse. He could be one of those slaves belonging to Blood Nation for example. He has his chip in the gold wristlets he isn't actually able to remove. He has a healthy fear of ending up on the very ominiously whispered about Lady "Santa's" roster of pet deliquents...so he hasn't ever tried to take it off...plus its very nice accessory.
The slave status is extremely new and he isn't ashamed of it. He took the rap for his fellow gangsters to protect them from prosecution or jail time. In all the ten plus years he been a member of his Ghost Gang family he was free. So this more recent occurance in the past six months to few years...he won't say exactly...is still an adjustment period he is having to go through. Most of his history is missing pieces but its generally true. He recently learned the least wanted parole officer was assigned his case...Emer. Ugh....and there is always the threat of being sent to Slave Rehabilitation specialists if he isn't good....which makes things more rough but he wasn't ever really doing illegal things anyways...
