Profile: As an adult, Vremea has changed drastically from her formative years. No longer a pushover, Vremea has a backbone that took a lot of losing and learning to build up. Instead of simply letting others get what they want, she listens to what they offer and thinks about it heavily before considering pros, cons, and if there are any better ideas on the shelf. She worries heavily over those she is close to, and is truly kind to others, believing trolls do have goodness in them, they just need to calm down enough and really think about what they do. She’s friendly and proper, speaking clear and precise to everyone she comes across with a genuine smile and kind eyes. She thinks before she acts-- something she tries to use to her advantage in a society where many are driven by pure instinct. She has a very strong view against this, as society itself is either kill or be killed, to meet everyone with suspicion, aggression, disbelief, and death threats. Screaming at another screamer will only make both scream more. She has the patience of a saint, not minding how long it’d take to finish a goal as long as it ends up finished in the end. A gentle hand and encouraging words can help, and if one troll can do it, others can too. She enjoys the satisfaction of helping others and should someone ask for help, Vremea would be one, if not the first, of the volunteers to help.
She is the type of troll to hold grudges, especially to those of higherblood. She grew up afraid and fearful of them, having lost a close friend to one during a lighthearted game of FLARP as a kid. She holds a deep prejudice toward them she believes she has the right to hold from her bloodcolor, but still respects them to some extent considering their obvious advantage toward her bloodcaste, something she learned through both society itself and a dumb argument that quickly escalated into a public humiliation. When speaking to non-rebellion highbloods Vremea becomes deadly sweet and exuberant, but inside she’s secretly damning each step they take. While she is successful at treating all bloodcolors equally in the swamp, it is a little more taxing to do so to a highblood—so Vremea has the tendency to be a little tougher and suspicious of higherbloods, even to those who are allies. While Vremea tries to keep an open mind about trolls and trust others, her first initial thought would be to doubt. “What if’s” plague her mind frequently and anxiety, while not as prominent as it was during her teens, seeps in. This is mostly calmed with help from her morail and fellow officer, Odette Cygnet, or in the presence of one of her other Scouts, consisting of Odette, Athene Bramma, Milieu Aojiro(MIA), and Keionx Rutace. However, in their absence and break times, her anxiety and pessimism levels have been significantly higher, leading to a constantly worried Vremea.
To be completely honest, it’s not exactly the highbloods themselves she hates—It’s what they stand for. Vremea’s stance on the hemospectrum had always been shaky ever since she was a teen, and now, it’s cemented with her new position as Chief Health Director of the Rebellion. She holds this title with pride, having pledged herself over and over again to the Pheonix Initiative with sincere and deep rooted loyalty over the sweeps she’d been aligned with them. While there have been more than a handful of moments where she doubted the rebellion and its followers, the main reason she decided to stay was due to the Mother Grub, something she feels partly responsible of considering only she and a few other older rebels were present when the Matriorb was retrieved. Since then, her reasons for staying are not just related to the Matriorb, but to the rebellion in its entirety, feeling a small but strong connection starting to build within their band of weirdos.
Vremea is a socially inclined troll, enjoying cities and places of movement just as much as the others do. While she liked her home in the desert, she at least had some interaction with trolls throughout the sweeps of work in the Chittentown Library. Now, as a labeled a criminal and someone who is presumed dead or missing, Vremea becomes the dreamy and loyal Bellen Arecae, a hemoanonymous devotee to the crown. Having just barely managed to get forged documents of a previous life peacefully living in New Hemisect City, Bellen rose to attention when the rebels became more prominent in society, having lost her lusus in the latest rebellion effort. Due to this, she is frequently seen helping out in society, helping normal trolls to not stray from their paths and help them push away such thoughts—What she is really doing is trying to find trolls who show potential, to subtly place little drops of doubt in their minds. She is also trying to learn from the other psychologists and wants to learn their ways as well as offer her medical services to the team.
Even now, Vremea gets uncomfortable when she hears a troll abbreviating their speech, but doesn’t comment on it anymore. She figures it’s just something not all trolls want, and that’s okay. She’s a vegetarian, having flat teeth not made for chewing meat and instead eats leafy greens and all types of vegetables. She’s lactose intolerant and steers clear from all types of musclebeast milk, and still has a deep love for fashion. Even though she’s abandoned the far off dream of someday becoming a designer or famous personality and being well known, she continues, even now, to draw little designs and wear fancy clothes when she may. As Bellen, she mostly sticks to conservative clothes that cover her body, and tries her best to not show any scars she has upon it due to fear of someone recognizing her due to them. Still an avid reader, the yellowbloods obsession toward the previously popular series Moonlight actually influenced her fake identity’s name, and even in Civisect City she visits the library regularly so as to continue her reading.
Strengths:
prudent: Vremea has learned from a young age that it is wise to think ahead and plan things out, detail by detail. While she can also be relaxed on things that do not need much planning, when it comes to serious situations she is meticulous in planning every detial before everything goes to hell. She thinks ahead for any problems, relying on "what ifs" to help her find the most reasonable direction to go. She observes others and likes routine to some extent, feeling comfort in being able to imagine the meager pleasures of a calm, simple life when she's in the swamp or living in Civisect. She feels more comfortable knowing there's a set goal or destination, and plans things more extensively when they're serious.
compassionate: Vremea is a sweet, kind-hearted troll with a pump-biscuit that enjoys knowing when another being is okay. She is very benevolent, and enjoys to help trolls and find the good in them, no matter how deep she has to dig. She has a deep desire to do what she believes is good for their race and people, and wouldn't wish harm upon any troll. As a teen, these emotions were reserved for trolls she felt close to, but as an adult, Vremea tries to make up for lost time by overflowing with emotions and feeling what the other trolls feel. She puts herself in their shoes and strives to understand them and what they've been through, or simply who they are and their reasons for doing such. She believes no wrong is done without a reason, and will always search for something to justify another.
mentor: Vremea is someone who enjoys to watch others grow and learn. She enjoys to be there for another troll, and guide them through their experiences-- Teach them what it is to grow older, mold them into better, healthier trolls. She is very patient with this, and doesn't mind having to wait for others to eventually learn better so she can help right them or teach them what she feels is the correct path. Should she need to, Vremea is someone who will stand up for who and what she believes in, and has faith in her proteges unless wronged by them in some way. Even then, she still holds the hope that they will one day wander on the correct path once more. She is willing to be there and hold their hand through it all, and sees untapped potential in all trolls, confident in their abilities and how amazing they could be.
Flaws:
grudge-holding: Toward those who do her or those near to her wrong, Vremea holds a deep, deep grudge in her pump-biscuit. Little mistakes aren't harmful, but should it be something very serious, Vremea will never forget what they've done. She will never feel the same toward a troll who has wronged her or a friend, and no matter how much they try to redeem themselves, she will resent them. Though they may change and get better over time, and Vremea will treat them how they treat her, she will still feel a bitterness in her pump biscuit toward them. Should they treat her cordially, she will do the same-- But when it comes to trusting them again, to believing what they say is true... She would rather believe or trust another. Only if something they've done truly proves her wrong will she apologize and maybe start to believe them. But she will always, always hold a small belief-- That they will do her wrong once more.
anxious: Ever since a young age, Vremea has had the growing flower of anxiety bud in her chest. Now as an adult, it has blossomed into an intense fear of the unknown, constant "What if's" plaguing her mind at every chance they can. She used to be so anxious she couldn't believe her own words, but after being appointed Chief Health Director and gaining some confidence, the yellowblood has had more faith in herself. She still, however, can't help but feel like her opinion isn't so important at times, and only with help from her morail will this anxiety calm somewhat. However, since her morails celebrity debut Vremea's anxiety levels have reached an all time high. When not around a trusted friend or close ally, Vremea is always stressed or worried about something or someone. As Bellen this anxiety is less apparent, as she feels she doesn't have the same obligations. However, when confronted with something Vremea cares about, this calm facade will break and show the true fear she has of being found out.
empathetic: Vremea feels the pain of others as if she herself were in their place, experiencing their emotions second hand as if she could understand the situation. This means she's a complete bleeding heart, feeling pity and concern for trolls she hasn't known for long simply because she can't control it. Even to an enemy, Vremea will not harm them if she doesn't need to. She thinks that she herself is in this situation, and will think of the reasons why they are doing such a thing, always finding a reason for it. If given the option to harm or heal them, Vremea will almost always choose the former. She too weak hearted, and would never kill someone willingly-- Even if it's the right thing to do. She will always falter.
Weapon: A military grade scythe! Bought a new one in Civisect after some time of her moving there as her old one had her stone embedded in it.
Appearance: As the hemoanon Bellen Arecae, Vremea wears very conservative clothes, often wearing something that is able to cover her face should need be, or a nurses mask. Hats, hoods, head wraps-- Things that cover her face even somewhat are normal. She wears long dresses and cute shoes in the flashy new city of Civisect. Instead of a shade of grey for hemoanon, she uses a pure white. Her hair has grown a little longer, to her breast.
Home: Civisect City! Bellen acquired a hive in the City with a lot of work, promises, and bribes. It is a tiny apartment, with the only splashes of color being her recuperacoon and the many movie and theater posters on the wall. It feels comfortable enough and is sparsely decorated with some trinkets of past fake relations, her favorite books, and some neutral art pieces she managed to find to add some niceness. Flowers and plants decorate and give it the bare minimum of color. It feels a little empty in comparison to her old, colorful hive, but she tries her best to not show any colors other than natural ones in her home.
Lusus: Vremea's Lusus, Yakmom, has moved in with the trolls in the swamp. As a kid, Vremea respected Yakmom and had a deep attatchment to her guardian-- As teen, however, Vremea grew ashamed of her stinky, dirty, and messy lusus, pushing her away from view and keeping her at an arms distance. She'd only come near to her when she needed something, and only visited her when she felt guilt at not spending enough time with her. She'd listen to the advice that was given to her and while in the end she was the one who chose her own decisions, Yakmom held a heavy influence and importance in her bloodpusher. As an adult, Vremea strove to spend more time with her lusus, but after she was convicted a criminal, Vremea was forced to leave her at their hive for a few more nights than planned. She did come back for her, but to return was intense and hard, resulting in many frightening moments where they were almost discovered on the way. Thankfully, they managed to avoid being caught and Yakmom is now safe and sound in the swamp, aiding Vremea and any other troll when needed. She however cannot move too much due to her frail bones, and grows weaker by the day. She also plays babysitter when she can, and lives in a small, sparsely used hut-- Vremea's hut. She sometimes simply relaxes with the other kids in the swamp, but when Vremea returns they always spend a lot of time together-- Reading, relaxing, even as she works-- Vremea is trying to make up for lost time, sweeps later.
