xxxxx It is said that at the time of birth, all are without sin. Born pure, we are all given the chance to start life with a clean slate. Over time, that slate will undoubtedly become marred, and darken. For some however, it darkens more than others.
Although she seldom will admit it, Lenoré, like countless others, was born into poverty in the slums of Aramil. Abandoned by her mother during infancy, Lenoré grew up knowing nothing of the woman who birthed her. Her father, as Lenoré would say, was a "babbling idiot," half crazy, who struggled with various forms of addiction.
From a young age, Lenoré greatly resented her mother's abandonment, and her father's weakness. She ran from home long before coming of age. Penniless, with no skills to speak of, she quickly fell prey to those who would take advantage of her youth and beauty.
As the years passed, eventually, Lenoré discovered the magic that runs through her veins. Utilizing her anger, she quickly learned how to tap into the art of spellcraft. As she channeled her rage, she was able to decimate her captors. One by one they began to fall, due to illness inflicted upon them by her Nightmare magic. Eventually the leadership of the bordello was weakened enough for Lenoré to make her escape.
Now, on her own, Lenoré vowed to never again become a victim to poverty. Her years of suffering have left a deep emptiness inside her, which she seeks to fill with revenge for a world that made her suffer.
