Things had changed very suddenly for Lieutenant Nambulite. The man had found himself with duds more stylish he could have imagined (heels aside), and also with a new duty. He was a member of the "Negaverse," some kind of organization that "collected energy" and fought off alien people called "senshi." Or something. Honestly, it seemed novel enough for him to not complain, even if he wasn't particularly fond of being yoked to anything. Right now, his mission was very simple: collect energy. If anyone attempted to fight him off, fight back. Somehow. What a bummer, he had just manicured and painted his nails... they would have helped... Nambulite's ruminations were interrupted by a strange "bright" feeling from somewhere in the distance. This had something to do with the ability to sense others like him that he had been told about, except that he got a feeling that this other was not like him at all. He needed to see what this other was, immediately, and so he stalked off in the direction of the brightness.

Cordoba was watching an area of Destiny City idly, the poage trying to work out how to get out of the still unfulfilled 'duty' of a civilian life assistant. Really, she ought pay more attention, but her mind was churning over options. Maybe one of those wireless assistant thinghs? Those wouldn't question, right? Sigh. Who knew with her mother and aunt's boyfriend. She didn't. Cordoba rubbed a temple, frowning before a slowly more familiar aura of a chaos agent arose near her, and she jerked her head up, looking around carefully. "Hmmm..."

Sure enough, the bright feeling belonged to a bright person. A woman with a black, white, and blue outfit was looking around; she must have had a hunch that someone was nearby. Clearly, the thing to do was take advantage of the confusion. Nambulite stepped out of the shadows. "Looking for something?" he said, walking closer to the woman. "I might be able to help you find it, but not for free. All I need is a little bit of your energy." The semi-unintentional rhyming cadence brought a smirk to his face, and he capped it off by satisfying the Rule of Three. "So, what'll it be?"

She knew it. Cordoba sighed and turned idly, as if far more accustomed to fighting. Why couldn't she run into other agents who didn't want to kill her, instead of the ones who did? Damnit, were the good ones THAT rare? "Let's try ghost pepper nachos." She drawled, tone taunting. She summoned her weapon, and settled for a jaunty pose, spreading her arms almost welcomingly. She was getting FAR too used to these fights far too quickly, but it happened. "I can bring the snacks, clearly" Cordoba's tone went smooth, and she flashed a grin - the DJ grin when she was about to fill an order. "But the real question is can you dance?"

Sami-Fire SORRY I TOOK SO LONG. And Cordoba why. There it was - the chaos. Cordoba summoned her weapon carefully before eying him, taking in his beaviour before drawling. "Well you're a bit forward aren't you? But no, I found what I was looking for." Even if it was an upstart in.... A guy in heels? Well, she didn't know agents fore heels if they were men, really. Hmn. "But enough with me, what are you looking for lovey?"

"Where I come from, being direct gets you what you want." Nambulite's hand shot forward to grab Cordoba's arm. From what he remembered, just this much contact would be enough to start the energy extraction process. "So, give me your energy and I'll be on my way. That's what I'm looking for." If he got his hand on her and was able to keep it there, he might possibly get a decent haul of energy. Maybe he'd be able to catch the fly with some honeyed words. "Please? Even just a little would be quite helpful. It's just business, lady, nothing personal." He couldn't help but chuckle darkly to himself after he said that; being so sugary wasn't part of his usual repertoire. NovaCracker Oh please I am the slow queen. Also, since you double posted, I used the most recent post. Hope that's okay.

Cordoba watched his hand, before a hand flicked rapidly to strike it, the page frowning sharply. "Sorry, I'm using it." She didn't want to end up stuck dead or something - not in this case. "Why not the prison? Plenty of lowlives can settle their debts there." And she wasn't one of them. Hell, she'd points out specifics if she knew of any.
