Yawning, Tom walked down the halls of the Apollo dorms, trying to find something to do. He had already checked out the study rooms that were attached to the building. He had gotten up early as he usually did and had gotten ready and checked out the rooms before trying to head to breakfast. He wasn't sure what time they served it or what time it ended, but he hoped that he could get something there. Personally, he still wasn't quite sure what to do. He was intrigued by the idea of adding magic to his studies, however since the classes hadn't started yet, he was more or less stuck looking for a job still, with the little information that he got of the outside world, and trying to find something to do to occupy his time. Unfortunately he was walking a bit aimlessly, swaying a bit, distracted by a fanfiction he would never publish, and accidentally ran into a column. Rubbing his nose a bit from the pain, he hoped that no one had seen him, however that hope was dashed as someone had seen him, that woman from the Tour had been in the hall at the same time. It was near impossible to keep herself from humming in the hallways - at least, in the dorm, as the acoustics were amazing and just begging to be utilized. It was still early in the morning, however, and the last thing Rose really wanted to do was make her presence known by disturbing everyone Apollo touched. If there was a worse idea for making friends among her own Chosen, she wasn't sure she'd thought of it yet. Idly drawing her long fingers through her hair, she pulled the locks over her shoulder and started a simple, loose braid, mostly to concentrate on doing that instead of breaking into song. Each step was a beat, and the echo, a melody. It was so deeply ingrained in her to hear music everywhere, how could she not now -- Her thoughts were interrupted by the soft sound of someone else's footsteps, lifting her blue eyes to spot the familiar man from the Tour - just in time for him to run into a column. Rose dropped her hair and covered her mouth with her hands, surprise high and etched in her brow before she quickly made her way over to him. Stretching out a hand to gently touch his cheek, she tried to smile away the potential for embarrassment, though her brows were furrowed with clear concern. "Are you alright?" she asked lightly, looking over his face as though to check for an obviously broken bone. "Goodness, are you getting enough sleep? Please, do make sure you're resting." Tom let out a small sigh, his shoulders drooping a bit as he used one hand to make sure his nose was in place. “I’m awake enough, I just have to stop spacing out so much.” He was embarrassed that she was showing so much concern for him, especially with her hand on his cheek. “Really have to learn how to pay attention, I somehow manage to run into stuff even in mostly empty hallways.” He said, chuckling a bit. His vision focusing more, he finally recognized the woman talking to him. “Oh, hi, we met at the tour if I remember correctly. Well, looks like we’re both staying here at least.” He smiled at her, trying to make her forget about his run-in with the column.

Her smile warmed as he replied, withdrawing her hand to clasp with her other and tipping her head in acknowledgement. "It's important, yes, especially given what we're up against." Rose looked down the empty hall, her eyes distant for a moment - remembering the weapons, the talk of monsters. "I doubt the creatures that tail us will be as forgiving as that column." Her eyes returned to him then, her smile softening. "We did. Had I known Apollo had Chosen you too, I'd have kept you closer." Taking a moment, she extended her hand again, but this time in askance of his. "Rose, singer and establishment owner." The corner of her lips curved upwards a bit more. "And quite frankly, I've no idea what I can possibly do in this war of ancients, but...here we are."

He gave her a bit of a smile. "Well, I'm more likely to be the guy following after everyone with some bandages than fighting, but we'll see how it goes." He would have to study them quite a bit too to see if they had any adverse effects to look out for like acidic blood or something. He took her hand it shook it. "Tom, newly licensed doctor still trying to find a job." He gave her a tip of his hat for a moment. "No idea what we're really supposed to do here either. I just figured we were the newest batch of... 'heroes' right now. Though I'm sure we'll all find how we're going to be useful somehow." He was really sure what to say next. "So, you're a singer and you own a place?" What is it called, if I may ask?" Chrystali Sorry for taking so long to reply!

"Being alive to win the war is certainly a worthy goal, and none of us shall fall by the wayside, if the Gods are to be of merit." Rose offered another smile at the shake, her brows raising subtly at his introduction, impressed. "I'm sure you'll find something. The healthcare here isn't exactly brimming with too many doctors." Her expression was apologetic, then; it certainly couldn't be easy to start out, especially in such a much needed profession. " La Lumière, my lounge, my home. I miss it dearly." Stepping to the side, she motioned down the hall -- that Tom could continue, if he wanted. "I was just going to check my e-mails and see if my staff was managing, but if you've somewhere to be, I can accompany you." SSBrosB No worries! I'm here off and on myself! <3

Tom sent her a smile and a nod. “Thanks, I hope so too. Doctors are in such high demands but not in the private sector, most of the job openings are for hospitals and I try to avoid those if possible.” He said with a chuckle. It must be weird meeting a doctor who didn’t like hospitals. “Though with these facilities I might be able to do more than I planned to. “ La Lumière huh? Sounds interesting. I might have to check it out sometime if I can.” He shrugged his shoulders a bit at her offer. “Honestly, I was mostly just wandering around myself. Maybe check out more of the facilities here, but I wouldn’t mind company in my wandering.”

The songstress gave the man a friendly smile and a tip of her head in acknowledgment. "I would welcome you with the best seat in the house - as my guest, of course." Rose wasn't ever in it for the money, which made making offers easy and second nature. Turning to settle at the doctor's side, she clasped her hands behind her back. "I am happy to offer company until it's time for my appointment at the gym." Her tone suggested it was more of a routine than anything instated, but she was very much a creature of habit. "Have you found anything of interest yet, or is this your first foray?" SSBrosB *coughs* Should probably finish this huh?
