Personality:
Calm, blunt, and antagonistic, Gaelio often sees himself as being 'above' others. Callous and intelligent in the manner that he speaks to most people he puts up a polite and respectful demeanor to those who he feel deserve it.
For the most part he comes off as being smug and uncaring, seeing people who get too excited and riled up as troublesome and annoying. His ability to remain calm in heated battles is a testament to his will power, or stubbornness, and he rarely loses his cool openly. To most he is just the rich heir to a large company and he acts the part. He comes off as antagonistic towards most people, especially other trainers. He doesn't take them seriously and is rude and condescending towards them.
Spending much of his time with headphones on his head he prefers to stay within his own thoughts and keeping interpersonal interactions to as much a minimum as possible.
In private, to those who he cares about, he is overly caring and polite and can actually let go and be somewhat of a goofball.
History:
Eldest son, and heir, to the Aldo Hospitality Corporation a large company with many hotels and resorts across the Pokemon world. Brother to two younger siblings, a brother and sister set of twins he to was part of a twin pairing.
His twin sister Almira was a gifted and passionate trainer convinced that she was going to be the next big thing in the Pokemon trainer scene. While she focused on Pokemon and her training her brother focused more on academic efforts and believed that it was a safer way for a future to be obtained. Generally callous towards Pokemon and trainers he saw it as more of a hobby than any sort of future. The two rarely saw eye to eye, often butting heads when it came to what was the best decision on any particular subject with Almira being more impulsive and trigger happy and Gaelio being much more reserved, thought out and analytical.
Almira had begun her Pokemon journey at the age of thirteen, much like any other young trainer. She had met with great success obtaining several badges with only a small number of rare Pokemon she had captured. She had even been featured on TV programs as a talented trainer and a promising prospect as to someone who could challenge the Elite Four. Her dream however, would never be realized with her falling ill and passing away suddenly two years into her journey.
After the passing of his sister he vowed to take up her torch as a Pokemon trainer. With the support of his parents and the Pokemon that she had left behind he set out to finish the journey she had started years ago, to become a Pokemon Champion. Leaving behind his schooling and studies he was overcome by an obligation to his sister to take up where she left off. With three of his sisters Pokemon in his possession he set out to meet with a Pokemon Professor to begin his journey.
