Sabine rested on the park bench, breathing in the summer night as she contemplated the last few days. Her luck on patrols had been good, she'd met a few interesting people, she'd gotten a visit from a furry friend who helped her set up a date with the boy she liked, all in all, not a bad turn of events.

But she knew that good things could not last, and tonight was no different. She was on edge, wondering what she would encounter tonight. Would it be a youma? Would it be an agent of chaos? It was hard to tell some days just what might pup up and turn the corner.

So she kept her mind open and search for the auras that floated around the city, if something came in range, she knew she would remain and stand her ground. It was the only way to ensure peace now... She realized that. Fight if you must. Fight to survive.

The sudden spiking of the Chaos aura was the only hint that Sabine got of the arriving opponent. She felt her body tense. This was not the first time she had faced an officer of the Negaverse, nor would it be the last - she hoped. Moreover, she had gotten a little bit of training under her belt, so she was willing to give it another go. The last fight she'd gotten into had resulted in her being able to successfully making an escape. Maybe she would luck out in this case as well.

Granted, if it was the same officer, then she'd probably not get away as easily as before. He would know that she might be potentially dangerous, and then she would lose her edge. Her trainer had told her to use her implied weakness to her advantage.

So she forced her self to remain seated, almost demure, scared even... Though she was sure that last part was true to a degree. If she could convince the enemy that she was easy pickings, that she was weak and an easy target. Then her strike would surely hit home. She would be able to win the day in one hit, instead of hoping to survive an actual slog.

When the officer appeared, Sabine forced herself to keep her seat. Her eyes met his gaze and she held it, keeping her chin slightly elevated as she watched him move in closer.

"The same could be said for you, sir," She said, her voice soft. "Justice comes to those who cause this city harm, like you and your fellow officers."

Her voice held no malice in it, but there was a firm disapproval to her tone. "You would be better served to put down your arms and broker peace. I am sure coexistence is possible."

She kept her hands on her skirt for now, balling them into fists as if she were afraid. "After all, we're all human aren't we?"

She rose once he was close enough for her to make out the more minor details of his uniform. She did not want to be caught unable to move, and being seated on the bench would not give her what she needed. She only had one shot at this, one chance to make her attack and move. Two, if she was lucky and the first attack found itself in a place where it was going to cause more harm.

"I come from earth, just as I assume you do." She said, flatly, eyes watching him. "I grew up here. I was born here... If that doesn't make me human then nothing does." She said, arguing against his silence.

"At least acknowledge that... Before you try to do me harm."
