My boyfriend and I have been living together for close to a year, now. I love him dearly, and we've been together 2 1/2 years-- my longest relationship.
Before him, I had many hookups, a couple short term relationships, and bouquet of ********. But when it's right, it happens-- and it's beautiful.
I couldn't imagine my life without him. He changed my path, and made sure that I could be safe and happy away from terrible people in my life that just pulled me down. He made it so that we could have a life together.
How long have you and your partner been together, if you have one?
If you don't have a partner, what is your longest relationship?
And, whether you're partnered or not, what are your hopes for the future?

Longest relationship was two years, and as hopes for the future... to come out to my family, meet a nice guy and start a family.

We met through here on Gaia. We're constantly on video chat, though, lmao, and got plans of visiting him as soon as i get a job. Things are a bit rough with my family. My hopes would be he wouldn't cheat. I trust him, but that fear is always there mostly because of insecurities since its long distance and anything could happen.

Been together for three years, next Tuesday (the 19th) will be 2 years married. heart McPhee If you don't have a partner, what is your longest relationship? I'll still answer. My first relationship lasted on and off for eight years. We're still friends! McPhee And, whether you're partnered or not, what are your hopes for the future? Currently trying to get him immigrated to the US. Once he's here he hopes to start a career in programming, and I'm hoping to have released my first full-length book by then. Once we get settled into our careers we want to save up to start a family.

Longest relationship was six months. Ended terribly, too...
Well, I'm a hopeless romantic. I want to marry the guy who makes me smile every day and there's unconditional love between us. And to start a family because a lot of my friends have kids and I'm getting a tad broody xD

My husband and I have been together just about a year and a half, married for close to a year.
I know it sounds pretty fast, but we went through some s**t that tested us before we married (and since) that made it painfully obvious how solid our relationship was out of the gate. He is one of only 3 boyfriends I have had, the longest relationship I have been in (so far razz ) was with my ex, which was 2 and 1/2 years.
What are my hopes for the future? That we are both successful enough to spend as much time with each other as possible with out worrying.

Well I am currently single sadly....
My first in person relationship was with a guy I started talking to on Christmas Eve. (Texting) He was drunk at a party and I of course in my room just blankly staring at my ceiling trying to sleep.
It wasnt until late January / Early February that he asked me out. I said sure and he came on picked me up. He lived over two hours away keep in mind. We spent a long time together even though I was falling asleep because I was so nervous the night before.
On Valentines he took me to the Aquamarine, which was fine, but we got food there too that costed about 500 and I was mad at him. NO one should ever spend that much money on me xD. After I graduated we moved into together....then slowly we started falling apart. We got into many fights, some ended pysichally.
It was a week before Thanksgiving, we got into the worst fight because the car wouldnt start (It was really cold) and we ended in a fist fight. I had a black eye, bruised thigh, and stomach.
Way later we texted each other saying sorry he told me he ended up with bruised arms, and legs.
He was my first in person relationship, and it sucks because I miss him
whats worst is I miss having someone there for me.
Now I would try to find love now, but I plan on moving in 2 years.
But my hope is I met someone I love and they love me dearly with out fights.

My longest relationship lasted three years. We dated in high school, and we started out as really good friends. He started talking about marriage (I hadn't even applied to college yet), so I got anxiety and ended it with him gently. We're still friends though.
I hope in the future, I'll have a partnership where we love being together with a fair share of similar interests yet also respect differing interests and alone time. I hope we're both nerds who like to cuddle and will build each other up in each endeavour.

Mm, I'm not in a relationship, but I've been in F-buddies type of relationships. My longest relations I had with a partner was two years.
I'm actually relieved that I'm not with that person anymore, because it was a very toxic relationship, arguments every week, and I was always being blamed for everything, and it just hurt.
My hopes in the near future (soon) is to find another boyfriend, because I do want to feel love again and be happy to know I have someone to say "I love you" too. I still hadn't given up, but I just hadn't found myself being able to find that special guy just yet.
So I still have high hopes!

I'm engaged to wed early next year to a male S.O. We've known each other since January 2016. I never really bought into the idea of dating for like 5 years before getting married some people like to do now. XD
