"Welcome to the manor!" Greats Jaylyn.
"Welcome I hope your stay is... intersting" Says Jazlyn.

Jaylyn had been the one to open the door when there was a knock, her twin, Jazlyn had been to busy doing whatever it was she was doing to be bothered by such a thing. When she opened the door she shyly peeked out. "H-Hello?" She asked seeing two men leading another on a leash. She knew they were slavers, but she couldn't quite understand why they were at her home, she looked st the male on the leash and smiled when she saw his ears and tail though she still didn't move.


Jazlyn wasn't really that far behind Jaylyn the the door, but she wanted to see her sister's reaction to the slave she got. Smiling to herself she greeted the men and accepted the slaves leash. She then handed it over to her sister "Don't let him go yet." She told the long haired twin who was recovering from her surprise, Jazlyn signed the papers stating she received her slave. Once the slavers were gone she shut the front door. "This is your new home, slave." She said with a smirk. "Jaylyn and I are your new mistresses" She continued making the appropriate gestures. "Starting today your job is to take care of us, you are not to attempt running away or harming either of us or you will regret it, am I understood?" She stated unclipping the leash from the neko. Jaylyn came back from her shock that moment and hugged the neko "Kitty!" She said happily, "What's your name?!" She asked looking at him with a friendly expression.

Jazlyn smiled when he answered her. "You may speak freely here as long as you are respectful I don't see a problem with it and I know Jaylyn will like to hold conversations with you." Jazlyn stated. After sighing Jazlyn spoke again "For today I'll let you get to know us a bit more, so I won't pile on all the rules, if you have a question ask either one of us. Other than that today should be a fairly easy day." She stated giving Jaylyn a smile in seeing her twin's happiness and like of the slave.


Jaylyn smiled as he purred and hugged her back though it wasn't too long before she released him from her hug. "Okay Zachary! It's nice to meet you then!" She said a smile stretching from one ear to another. She saw his ears and tail seemed to be more relaxed and giggled as his tail swayed back and forth. When Zachary asked what to do both twins answered in unison "I'll show you around the manson!" Was what Jaylyn answered while Jazlyn replied saying "We can have something for lunch." That time Jazlyn gave in, "Jay you can show him around, I'll work on something to eat." Jaylyn nodded and grabbed Zachary's wrist to pull him to another room before Jazlyn changed her mind. "This is the greeting room where guests would be guided until one of us can greet them, or where business deals are drawn up." She told him.

Jay looked at him as he giggled as Jaz left to look for something to eat in their kitchen. Jay looked at Zachary a moment. "Hummmmm, Mom and Dad ran some business, a company. I think it's still in the family, we just haven't had much time to look at the paperwork." She said with a smile. After that she turned and lead him back though the entry way and upstairs. "Up here is where the office is and all the rooms." She said leading him down. "I don't know where Jaz was going to have you stay, I'll ask her after lunch about that. Here is our room." She said showing him the only room with a closed door.


Jaylyn showed him a few more rooms in the house before she took him downstairs to the kitchen where Jaz was finishing some grilled cheese sandwiches. Looking up Jazlyn greeted Jay and Zachary with a plate each and some ice water. "Lunch is ready." She said Jay leading the way to the dining room with Jaz close behind her, the two of them sat next to each other. "you can sit anywhere Zachary." Jaz said looking at him, almost forgetting about him already, she was so used to it being the two of them.

Jaylyn noticed Zachary looking at the room door. "Jaz likes keeping it closed, it was out of habit when the house was full of staff and people in the halls. We liked the privacy and separation when father had his guest over for dinner or an event or whatever the reason." She explained. "Even when the staff left we still close the door from habit, I guess a bit of it is also wishful thinking, hoping some of them would come back." She added sadly. However, it didn't take Jaylyn long before she remembered she was showing him around before she cheered up again and showed him a couple more rooms, like where they kept the extra toiletries, cleaning supplies and other thinks of the like.


Jaylyn giggled at she felt something soft tickling her ankles as they neared the kitchen. Once she had her food she went to the table. "You're welcome." Jazlyn replied as she put the dishes she used to cook with in the sink on her way out to the table. Jazlyn took note where Zachary sat across from her and Jaylyn. Jazlyn smiled as he thanked her again before he started eating her and Jaylyn ready eating as well. "No problem, I think my cooking has gotten better, what do you think Jay?" She replied to Zachary before turning to her twin. "This is good Jaz!" Jaylyn said in between bites.

Both girls noticed how quickly Zach finished his food but Jazlyn was the first one to talk to him that time. “I was given some information about you already, but tell me about yourself a bit and what you can do.” She said, wanting a good idea of what task she could have him on and what the twins should probably continue doing themselves. She wasn’t the type to over work a servant or ask them to do something they couldn’t properly do at least she didn’t think so, but she wanted to reclaim her father’s business as soon as she could and to do that she couldn’t be wasting time on house work. She hoped to restaff the house as quickly as possible.

Jaylyn nodded when Zach asked if he could do the dishes. “Sure, then I’ll cook dinner later, or we’ll find something to eat.” She said after chewing her last bite of food. Jazlyn had finished a little before her. She looked at her twin and frowned a bit knowing she had something on her mind that she wouldn’t say.

Jazlyn nodded when he told her what he could do. “Okay I will make a chore list for you by tomorrow so you know what you need to get done, but for today it’ll just be what you want to do or the few things either one of us needs help getting done.” She stated. “And before I forget, your room will be upstairs on the right and three doors down.” She told him “I hadn’t told Jay about anything because I wanted it to be a surprise so we hadn’t gotten to cleaning it much, I apologize for that, but it shouldn’t be too hard to tidy it up and put sheets on the bed” She added with a bit of a shrug.


Jay also listened to Jaz when she told Zach where his room would be and about it not being cleaned out. “I guess that’s what we’ll do next, so it’s clean before it gets late…” She said, not really interested in cleaning but she didn’t want to make Zach do it by himself, she also wanted to learn more about him as much as possible. “O okay… Thank-you.” She said slightly shyly again as he flashed her the smile. He was nice enough and she liked him. As Jaylyn went to the kitchen with Zach Jazlyn went to the study upstairs that was once their father’s to start making sense of the paperwork. When he passed he’d told both girls about the business and was starting on teaching them to take over so she had at least a small idea of what she was doing and what to look for.

Jaylyn watched Zach as he washed the dishes as quickly as he did, she was amazed as Jazlyn and herself always took a good while on trying to get the things clean. Though as kids they’d never cared to help any of their father’s staff let alone help them with the chores so when their parents died and the staff started quitting on the girls they were forced to start learning to care for themselves. The last to leave was their nurse maid who made sure the girls could cook at least one meal for themselves and has some concept of chores before she left. As Zach started putting stuff away Jaylyn helped showing him where things went as she too put some of the dishes away.

Once the dishes were cleaned and put away Jaylyn smiled and thought. “The third door on the right, I’ll show you!” She said with another smile. “It’s the one next to the one across from our room.” She added. Jaylyn knew why Jaz didn’t want him in the room directly across from them, but she didn’t want to bring it up to Zach unless he asked. With that she once again lead the male neko up stairs and to the room Jaz mentioned. The door was already opened but as they stepped in there were cobwebs in the corners and along some of the walls. The bed had been stripped of its sheets, and the floor could stand to be swept while the area rug that was in the middle of the room needed to be beaten to get the dust and dirt out. Many of the unused rooms were like that. The twins only cleaned their room, the room right across from theirs and the master bedroom that was their parent’s room. They never felt much like taking that room after their parent’s deaths. That room also had a nightstand that matched the bed and a closet and small dresser all made of a dark red colored wood. Though simple it was still a nice looking room.

OOC: I apologize if I have mixed up my right and left up, but if I did mix them up and tried to fix it I would only end up mixing it up more... But it is acroos from their room but down one more than what would be straight across from theirs... sweatdrop Hopefully it's not to confusing... sweatdrop
