Mighty wings beat, emitting gale force winds from naught but their raw power. The deadly duo had made quite a leap in progress towards the west, but still had a vast ocean to cross in order to get there. It seemed even Aeolus willed himself against them, heavily laden winds blowing in the opposite direction that they wish to travel. Even riding upon thermal updrafts, bestial breathing soon becomes heavy and labored. A dark palm pats against brilliant silvery scales glistening with precipitation from the tufts of fluffy white among which they flew, and Ty knows the must come to a halt lest they plummet from the sky.

Touch down there... We'll rest and hunt a bit, Ah? The massive reptile snorts a puff of white hot flame, but is too tired to make his mental response. Dropping like a stone, scaled wings beat thrice in quick succession to put a halt to momentum before claws knead into fresh soil, shaking the earth around them upon impact like shifting tectonics. With a sound akin to a fountain of coins do extra appendages fold in to slight hollows along the dragon's back, it's master's arms stretching skyward with a mighty yawn. The twain seemed to radiate power, each a beautiful and intimidating sight in their own right. The rider was... Otherworldly, almost as if he didn't belong on this plane. almost.

From down below, a voice sings out to him; no nonsense and all business; for she has not the time for games. The dark skinned warrior's head cocks in wonderment; surprised to see another soul bearing even a modicum of humanoid intelligence in the seemingly barren area. Dreaded locks shift as he considers the inquiry. "Nice to meet you too. I think... Somewhere in the eastern lands. Essfraxon maybe? I can't tell you the exact location, unfortunately. Why are you here? This place is certainly... unwelcoming to say the least." Legs unsaddle, and the armored figure slides down a hindleg before boots make contact with solid ground. Limber columns are stretched and shaken out from days on end in the saddle, far worse for wear than he lets on. The dragoon needed this pit stop just as much as his ferocious mount, apparently. i'm going to be walking around like one of those bow legged cavalry sergeants at this rate. Mentally complained, though never voiced. Light hazel hues remain trained upon the angelic stranger, waiting for her next move. She didn't seem hostile but... Centuries of life had shown him that the prettiest of roses often bore the nastiest of thorns.

    • Pantheon: War - cutting & thrusting attacks are leveled to his current rank [currently B => A Rank]

    • I have come for thee - All damage dealt by Tiranus is increased by one rank

    • All spear attacks hold one extra rank in damage [dragoon passive]

    • Sound of Mind, Sound of Body - Tiranus has an extremely strong mental barrier. This makes him immune to fears, stuns, auras, and seduction techniques up to his rank.

    • Armored skin - Immune to damage C rank and below

    • Masterful dragon riding - Allows for aerial acrobatics and impossibly dextrous maneuvers whilst atop the dragon

    • Glory to me - Pagans are very... noble. They have the air of a King or Queen about them; even a divine. This comes from this particular ability. 'Glory To Me' is a mental allure that they constantly release from their vessel, similar to an Incubi's seduction, but weaker. Rather than seducing people, this ability fools their mind. It can make them see things that aren't real. In fact, they can even feel these things. This ability is literally impossible to ignore or break out of, but it serves little benefit other than prestige. A Pagan will often use this power to make themselves appear divine; the sun will rise behind them, their clothing will flow and shine with the breeze, they'll just seem so... God-like. They can even change their appearance using this, although it's a temporary thing. This ability can have some uses in battle, though. For example, if a Pagan is to cast a shadow over themselves, it'd make them harder to see. If they make the sun shine behind them, they can make their enemy flinch away from the overbearing light. They can also fool enemies into thinking they've struck a shield or something like that, although that sort of manipulation over reality is something that only Pagans who focus on this type of power can do.

spinal chord is popped several times over, horned boot digging into the soft earth absentmindedly. The seraph is lost in another world, and it is not hard to notice. The slight worry line marring an otherwise smooth brow; downturned corners of lush petals. It isn't the pagan's place to pry, so answers are not pressed for. Instead, as much information as can be given is granted. "Very, very far away. Across the ocean, believe it or not." Low baritone replies as branches check to make sure saddle and it's packs are secured along the dragon's girth.

All movement halts as the next inquiry is pondered, and he does the best he can to recall a list of demons slain; for this man could be nothing but one of them based on his description. Not a single fallen enemy matches the specific details offered however, and so he turns around to meet the hopeful gaze with molten bronze hues; locks shaking their denial even as they did so. "I do not think so... Why, do you hunt him? We always enjoy a good chase. Almost as much as we enjoy the kill." hand is presented, and taken without hesitation; a mind far too honed to give into seductive and mind breaking auras fearless of the like; though perhaps recklessly so. Everybody met their match one day, and it was certain as the moon's presence in Nocturne that he would eventually meet his.

"Tiranus; God of War. Ty is simpler though, and I like it better. That over there is Vex. Sorry about what happened to your home. Most gods are not as generous as I, unfortunately; for they certainly did not smile favorably upon that kingdom. You mentioned Yuran, would you like a lift back? We were going to head in that direction after a bit of hunting and R & R. Vexion is not an easy one to feed... And neither am I." Admission coupled with mirthful bubbling originating from broad chest.

Overgrown foliage rustles and sighs in the fray of wind's gentle kiss, constantly keeping the mind linked twain on their toes; a healthy amount of paranoia ingrained within both after so many centuries of war and treachery behind the scenes. Fingers snap before a spear matching the pigment of auric hues currently staring him down is manifested into existence; plucked from the air and twirled between fingers deftly before the tip is thrust into soil, used as support as the mass of muscle and sinew cants forward.

"But he is a demon, and you're an angel... Are you not? Wouldn't your kind consider that... Blasphemy?" A question fairly posed, for a stranger could never truly hope to understand the intricacy and intimacy of such a tightly secured bond; specifically not one such as he, who had never marked down skirt chasing as a past time.

Time is a thing the twain are lacking; each grain of sand slipping away through desperately grasping fingers. Whether they were aware or not, the greatest challenge had yet to come. Unaware of her home's current predicament, the pagan is forced to serve as the bearer of bad news. "I don't know the specifics. I just know some time recently they were decimated by a man named Raphael, and the nation has been reduced to little more than squabbling militias fighting over the land; despite their newest sovereign, Maria." Tiranus gauges her reaction, caramel dunked hues surveying body language and even the slightest fractions of movement.

Dragon is approached and mounted, with no resistance on Vexion's part much to the dragoon's surprise. To the contrary, a deep and rumbling purr reverberates from the pits of the mighty beast's chest; tiny gouts flickering within it's nostrils. "He normally doesn't let a stranger come within five feet without growling. I think he can sense character... Which says a lot about you." The haft is pulled from it's embedded station, dissipating into the nether realm in the same motion.

With personal throne currently occupied by an angelic booty, armored soles push off the ground as ironbound muscle shoots into the air, alighting upon the top of Vexion's cranium right in between horns. Protrusions are grasped lightly as the god is seated in a criss cross fashion. "Sounds good to me. We'll take it slow for Vex here, he's gotten exhausted flying me around." Sheepish admission is met with an indignant snort from soul bound partner, who takes off with a jump coupled with beats of mighty wings. Soon enough they were little but a pinprick in the sky to those currently shackled to the earth.
                                                          - exit
