Tahir was seated neatly in the playroom that him and a few other freshlings were all gathered in, tail curled up on a plush cushion that he'd managed to get ahold of. The underside of his tail would flex and relax slightly, as if fluffing the pillow beneath him, and kneading it fondly, naturally sensitive to touch and sensations, especially ones he liked! A tiny hand ran along his scales in an idle sort of manner, as if to keep them smoothed and clean, the pale white surface glistening with a healthy sheen of proper upkeep.
But he was starting to feel a little colder than desired... so used to the heat of his home, he still struggled to get used to the less warmer climate of the school. The heating lamps were nice, but... some other naga's were already soaking up in them. And they hadn't been too fond of Tahir, so far... Tugging at the collar of his thick sweater, which he hated to wear, his eyes drooped sluggishly as they rolled around to his peers. Maybe one of them could provide him with some snuggling warmth...

 After classes, Tullio decided to go check the playroom that his younger siblings tended to be in after their own. He was such a mother hen. Even more so than their own mother. Books and homework tucked safely away in his backpack, the little guy swished his tail to and fro, the puff of fluff on the end swaying and fluffing up with the breeze.
As he stepped through the doorway of the playroom, mismatched eyes looked about as they tried to spy his younger siblings. "Hmmm...." he muttered to himself quietly as he debated inwardly. Tullio didn't see them right off the bat, so mayhaps that meant they were hiding, or just not in plain sight. Well, whatever the reason, it prompted him to go in to try and find them. He was the worried mother hen, after all!
Younger freshling, after younger freshling ran about, yelped, made obnoxious noises, threw things across the room. One of said things almost tonked him in the noggin! Gods bless! This is one of many reasons that he just did not stay in this room long. Through the craziness, Tullio continued his search, wondering where in the world his siblings were!musicaloner7 fffffffff! not at all! it's perfect, bby~ <333 don't feel like you have to write a novel XD <3

Tail tip curling and relaxing in a somewhat anxious manner as he scanned around him, Tahir added more to the gentle fluffing of the cushion beneath him. Almost everyone was preoccupied with one another....
That is, until he spied someone who just entered into the picture. Vibrant ruby eyes flickered to spot the hybrid who had just joined the playroom, watching them intently, focused mainly on the puffy ruff and tail that they sported. Pupils dilated a bit with interest, he slowly began to slither off of his comfy spot to head closer to the other freshling.
Surely with all that fluff they must be super warm! Without any sort of prompting, warning, or even a greeting, little Tahir slinked his way up to Tullio, and hugged himself to the other child's side. He nuzzled into the plush ruff, a purr like hiss rumbling delicately and quietly from him in approval, little tail curving around to gently circle about one of the chosen freshling's legs to secure himself fully. Yes, so warm, just as he'd predicted~!

Though his search was seeming to be for naught, those bright duel colored eyes kept their vigilant watch. Thoughts began to cross his mind. Maybe mom came to pick them up. Maybe they were out on the playground. At this point.. he just hadn't a clue. All he knew is that it seemed as though his siblings weren't anywhere within the walls of this room! Blast.
At first Tullio was cool and calm with the thought, but then others began racing through his head! Oh gosh! What if they ran off and nobody noticed?! What if some stranger came and took them?! What if mom had come to pick them all up and he had to walk home by himself?!... Not that the last one was a big deal. He just had a lot of homework and books today. He was feeling lazy and didn't want to make the trek with all that stuff on his back. Eugh.
With everything that was plaguing the hybrid's mind, Tullio hadn't even noticed the other freshling that had slithered right on up to him until they were coiling about his leg and attaching themself to him. "Whoa!" was all he could get out as his arms raised and he looked at the face -- well tried to, anyways -- that belonged to the fluff invader. "I... don't think I know you kid. What's up with gettin' up in my fluff?" But then he noticed something as his eyes strayed while trying to gather some sort intell. Well that would explain things. There was a naga body that had cozied up to him. Ooooooh. Well it made a bit more sense now at least!musicaloner7 ffff! how absolutely adorable XD <333

Of course, the little desert hybrid didn't even take a moment to think of how his overly forward approach might effect his target. Nuzzling and burrowing happily against the plush fur, which was indeed as warm as predicted, his dainty purr continued to roll. Small hands gripped gently to the sweater the other freshling was sporting, securing himself and practically melding to poor Tullio's side! He still had yet to learn the normalcy's and mannerisms of this wider world, which differed greatly from his own. So cause for discomfort in those he interacted with were overly common...
It was after some time of absorbing the heat produced, and enjoying the soft cushion of fur his head now rested against, that he decided to finally peek up... with a great deal of delay from the question aimed at him. Bright red eyes blinked up, his freckles following beneath, the rest of his face keeping nestled into the fluff. Staring, the speckles on his pale face bunched as his eyes smiled. A muffled "warm~" quietly murmured from him, tail coiling even more around the other hybrid's leg to try and get more of the comforting radiating heat.
Surely the other child would understand~

It felt like such an awkward silence type situation -- at least on his end of things, anyways -- as he stared down at the other kid who was all nestled up in his fluff. Tullio didn't quite know what to think as he kid finally looked up at him, but alas, all he could do was smirk. The kid reminded him of one of his younger siblings clinging to him, so what else could the guy do?
Tullio laughed lightly at the single word that the other said. "'Warm', huh? Yeah... I suppose fluff will accomplish that." There was a lighter tone to his voice now, even laughing some as he couldn't help but little his arm and pat the kid on the head. "Though, I gotta say, I wish I had your problem... errrr... what's your name?"

Rumbling sweetly, and quietly, in the newfound comfort he'd stapled himself to, his own large fluffy ears folded back contently with the soothing pat to his head. Much like how his family would treat him, too~ he was a glutton for affection, and physical closeness.
Settling into a very cozy stupor, his bright eyes blinked sluggishly as he was prompted by the source of his warmth. Staring up at Tullio for a spell of time, remaining quiet as he had been, the pale little creature finally gave a delayed reply, "Tahir..~" voice soft, faint, and dainty. "What is yours~?" he asked back, small hand ever so caringly doting on the fluffy ruff, aiding in puffing it up even more, and enhancing its plush state!

At this point, Tullio couldn't help as his rather large hand continued stroking the younger child's hair. To be totally honest with himself, it felt like he had one of momma's cats clinging to him at home. Laughing again, he continued to smile and pet the youngin'. "Tahir? That's a really neat name. Does it mean anything?"
He felt a bit bad with that question. Of course it meant something! It was the name of a someone! Of course it meant them! "Errr.. Sorry if that was an off question, Tahir. It's just that in my family, names are a big deal. Mine's Tullio. It means 'the one who leads'. I'm the first of my mom's kids, so that's why I have that name~"
He had hoped not to be talking over the other's head. He was taught at home to talk to younger kids like adults. All the same, over the head or not, Tullio kept petting that adorable little guy's hair. White hair was so neat! He couldn't help finding it fascinating.

So warm and fluffy, like papa~<3 It was no secret that Tahir would often cling similarly to his neko father like this back home. He nodded along with the approval of his name, as he was quite a fan of it himself! Blinking a few more times, pausing from his grooming of Tullio's ruff, his smile grew, "Oh yes~" he began, brightening as his warming companion went on. "Names are important~" he echoed in agreement, bright eyes squinting as his smile only grew.
But he was distracted by the petting, his snake half curling and uncurling more, as if kneading Tullio, eyes slowly, sluggishly easing closed again, tipping his head to really press towards the affectionate touch, "Mine means pure~" he murmured with a hum, "All our names have important meanings~" he was quiet again... before opening his eyes to meet Tullio's two-toned ones, slowly hugging around his neck, and nuzzling cheeks, "You will be a leader, then~ so you are safe, and reliable~" the little hybrid practically cooed in praise, that mixture of a happy hiss and purr vibrated out from him again.
