Acanthite in her pretty crinoline and ruffled skirt stood in an alleyway behind her club of choice for the night, lording over the unconscious kid at her feet. He had a freshly-shaved zigzag design in his undercut that matched the emblem on her own uniform's brooch, which had caught her attention. And then the way he had been an utter creeper towards her made him an obvious choice when it came time to drain someone's energy.
"Ugh," she exclaimed, shaking off her hands once as she nudged him away with her booted foot. "If you do actually have a girlfriend, I feel sorry for her, and if you don't, I hope you never get one." The dark senshi started to turn to go... and then a thought struck her. Starseeds were important to the Negaverse, as well, and although she was not supposed to be yanking them out willy-nilly for fear of attracting too much attention, it was also not like she had ever taken one before, herself. This particular jerk had put her in a mood, to say the least.
Crouching down beside the unconscious douchebag, Acanthite studied him. She had also definitely never killed someone before.
But... practice made perfect, right?
Hesitantly, she reached out to roll him onto his back.

Cold. It was TOO cold. Mini skirts and no sleeves and high heels. Who thought this crap up? And to make people wear it to fight in? Sailor Ako sighed in disgust as she moved quietly through whatever back alley she had turned into. It wasn't like she hadn't worn things more revealing, but nothing like this to fight in. Not that she was much of a fighter in general before awakening, anyway. At least, she thought to herself, she was more or less fully clothed. Better than she figured some could say. Cosmic bad luck, she assumed, had given her this particular outfit.
Sighing again softly, she turned another corner, still not fully paying attention to where she was going. Wandering aimlessly at night was never something she would have dreamed of doing before, especially alone. But now...
No. Even now she shouldn't. Especially when she saw what was in front of her suddenly. A boy unconscious on the ground and.... who was leaning over him? Her eyes narrowed and she suddenly regretted coming out alone, especially without paying attention to things.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Her voice wasn't overly loud, but it carried easily across the space between them. Ako had a baaaad feeling about this.

Her thoughts preoccupied by the possibility of holding a life in her hands, Acanthite did not notice the White Moon aura approaching; when the other girl called out, she jumped slightly with surprise. Then she rose to her feet, whirling around to see who had interrupted her, and decided for the moment that the kid on the ground could wait. Maybe get off easy tonight.
"My job," she shouted back. The dark senshi realized her hands were shaking a bit an her heart was racing from the adrenaline already. And she was not pleased with the other girl showing up while she was on edge. "What are you doing here?" the auburn-haired girl countered. Her fingers curled into fists and she tensed, ready... itching, really, to fight. If she could not get a starseed tonight, she could at least hand out a beatdown to one of the White Moon-ers.
"You've got about three seconds to walk away!" Acanthite was in a bit of a mood, to say the least.

Oh how she had wished she had just stayed home now. Ako mentally kicked herself for having decided to go out alone that night and quickly steeled herself, having an ominous feeling about the outcome of this. Because with her luck? Not a snowflake's chance in hell that she was just going to talk the other down. No way.
"And I'm doing mine. What did you do to that guy?" Caramel eyes surveyed the boy laying on the ground from a careful distance. He didn't look dead, but she had no idea what the opposition was capable of.
Ako scowled at her next words. Walk away? That was absurd! Did she think she was morally lacking? "You really think I'm going to walk away when a civilian is lying there at your mercy? Not a chance! I don't know what you did or why, but I cannot let you continue!" This was not going to end well, but she had to try.
