I had a White deck for a bit, but card games way too expensive for my taste. Cool game though

So it goes like this. Before I moved here in '03, I and all my friends played, all the time-with each other I mean. I think they call that 'kitchen table style' or something. Once in MN, no one I met played. It wasn't until last summer, when my daughter was old enough to teach how to play did I pick it up again.

I had Fridays free, so we played Friday Night Magic in Roseville at Air Traffic and went to pre-releases too. There was a lot of format play-standard and modern. Wasn't used to that, but still fun. Although all of my cards were too old to use in those formats! Except for reprints. Now that my schedule is different, we don't make it to FNM. So I play with my daughter and her friends on occasion, but still don't have any adult friends to play with. lol

I'm still catching up, though I missed the last release. Like anything, some of the sets are great with bringing new dimensions to play, and some are just ok.

But I miss big games with lots of friends and less rules... Ha!

Like, in real life, with real people??... *slowing grabs blanket and drapes over head*
