Jeremiah sighed, content. His sister and her adopted children were well, his rival had been dispatched, and his business was growing. Things couldn't have been better, and he sent his guards to scout the area ahead, wanting to take a moment for himself in the shadowed edges of the forest.
"You always get in trouble when we're gone," one said, a little reproachfully. Jeremiah smiled. She was a good guard, and she took any harm against him as a personal slight.
"But they're always interesting, too, no? Don't worry about me; go on."
She gave him a flat look but eventually left, leaving him alone. It was not the wisest decision, perhaps, but he never claimed to be a wise man. If he was, he’d turn his efforts to more noble prospects, not spend his days training those who had grown up swindlers and scoundrels and profiting from it.
He sighed, thinking happily of the sweet treats and shiny trinkets they’d received from their latest contract. He could have the jewelry melted and reshaped so no one would recognize their origins, and the treats could be sent to his sister. Yes, things couldn’t have been better indeed.

Fyglia chuckled as she took in a breath of fresh air. She was free of her failure of a child and ready to find some prey to toy with. Her glowing crimson eyes had always been on watch for those who had guards. The one that needed protecting had seemed to be the one that would be the most fun to play with. Her serpent tongue flicked between her long fangs to catch the scent in the air. "Seems like it's time to play..." She chuckled the gave a loud shrill.
Taking to the sky, it was time to hunt those in need of pain. She had her eye on the near by business. She waited day and night for the guards to leave. "Looks like the guards are leaving..." She hissed with a cruel smile. She began to walk towards the main area of the business.

Jeremiah cast his eyes about, before leaning against a tree with a satisfied grunt. He was used to assassins in the shadows, not menaces in the sky, and the red-eyed serpent escaped his notice until it was too late.
"Ah," he smiled, straightening in a languid motion. His tail waved gently behind him. "Are you lost, stranger?"Frezir ((If any fighting's involved, we can roll dice? :3))

Fygia chuckled as the stallion had asked her if she was lost. Her tongue flickered as she smiled as well. "Lost, you say? My dear, you must of lost your sense." She said with a lick of her fangs. Her long tail swished, "have you no fear? Do you know what I am?" She asked as she got closer to the stallion. Ryuukishin Sure, i'd be up for that :3

"You look like a mare to me," Jeremiah replied smoothly. "Beautiful... and deadly."
He grinned down at her, allowing her to approach but never moving himself.Frezir Ah, I just realized this post never had a quote notif. Sorry about that!
