After his fight with his dad, his meet up with his brother and avoidance of coming home, Chandra had wandered about Tale looking for someone. It was hard to pin her down but he was patient enough if it meant he would be able to find the red headed girl named Syqvara.

Though he was feeling more at peace since his fight with his dad, he could thank his brother for offering some comfort he still had this gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach. He was avoiding going home because his mother was there and quite possibly his dad too. Chandra wasn't ready to face either of them and beyond occasionally seeking out his brother he had been by himself.

And honestly...that was getting old and boring. Arwen was sitting atop his head as usual while he opened and shut a book repeatedly whilst sitting on a make shift chair made of earth. It was hot out, and he had scoped out the closest village but to no avail of locating the girl he was searching for. Giving a sigh he snapped the book closed at looked up at the cloudless sky.

Since waiting for Chandra to come home had taken quite a long time she had left, leaving his book behind for him, and had started her walk back home. Of course she took her time since there were a few things she wanted to do along the way. One such thing being to teach Drent, her kinfa, to fly. Sy knew that he would need to spread his wings and get over his fear soon. He was already growing and soon he would be an adult.

The little bird tried to hide between the legs of his person's other familiar but that didn't work so well when the scorra simply walked away. Syqvara shook her head at the smaller of her two pets and bent down to pick him up. Once he was in her arms she cuddled him. "Its alright boy. You can do it. That's why you have wings." She pointed at his feathery appendages. Then without warning she tossed him up into the air and watched him.... Fly? Well sort of. He was too busy squawking and flailing his limbs to really fly. And he was headed right for someone's head!!

Chandra had been lost in his own thoughts that he didn't notice the flailing bird until it was nearly too late. The sound of squawking did get him to turn around only to see the poor creature fluttering towards his face. Fluttering was a nice way to put it, it was more like it was tumbling down from the sky. At first the man thought it was a creature attacking, Kifna's were known to be rather aggressive if they had nests nearby.

But even as he raised his hand a crackle of lighting forming in his palm he had to squash it as he recognized the poor bird. Giving himself a small jolt instead as he reached out to try and catch Drent. Poor Arwen was not a fan of Kifna's, or scorra's...or any bird as they often tried to eat her. She flew up trying to avoid the maw of the creature even if it was too busy to give her any mind.

Instead she spotted the owner of the bird and fluttering and chirping noisily she was flailing her arms in annoyance at Syqvara. At least though she wasn't biting or pulling her hair...she had somehow accepted the girl...where she still was pretty mean to most anyone who took Chandra's affection away from her.

Before she could tell who it was that her familiar was about to crash into she was already running toward him. Her eyes had caught the sight of lightning and instantly she panicked. "No! Wait!" The last thing Sy wanted was for her kinfa to get shocked. Luckily it didn't turn out that way.

Drent was all fluffed out and shaking as Chandra seemed to catch him. Clearly he wasn't all that happy about having to try flying.

When the leaf girl noticed the sprite in the air she paused. "Arwen?" Oh! What if the little thing thought that her pet had been trying to eat her! Not that it wouldn't be accurate under any other circumstance. Elyam, her scorra, was the only one out of the two that would have no interest in snacking on Arwen. "I'm sorry. I'm trying to teach him to fly. I promise he wasn't going to eat you." Syqvara apologized to the sprite and attempted to explain everything before she realized just whose sprite she was.

Looking past the small creature she stared at Chandra. Sy wasn't sure what to say so words just came blurting out. "Sorry! He's not good at flying yet! I should have made sure there was no one in the area for him to crash into." Instantly she was holding her arms out so that her small kinfa could be returned to her.

The young man was still startled at the fact that a kifna had been flung in his general direction and was now caught between his two hands. There had been a moment of hesitation before Chandra was quick to put the creature down. Chandra wasn't entirely sure with his abilities with animals, it was minimal at best and he didn't want to risk hurting it by accident.

Spotting Syqvara a smile crept onto his face despite his earlier depressed mood. "I may not know much about animals...but I don't think throwing them into the air helps teach them 'flying'. " He chastised before he swiveled in the boulder he was sitting upon before hoping up and off of it. Moving towards the red headed woman he was actually quite relieved to see. It had been awhile since he had seen her and he had started to fear she had moved off to some unknown location and he wasn't going to find her ever again.

As if he was desperate for human contact he went up to Syqvara approaching slowly at first and then quickly closing the distance as he neared. He reached out to embrace her tightly.

When he was put down Drent hurried toward Elyam to hide between the taller bird's legs. Sy watched but gave the small familiar a look that said "we're not done." Hearing Chandra speak about her tactic not working so well she gave a chuckle. "I know, but he needs to stop being so afraid of leaving the grou-- Oh!" Before she could finish what it was that she wanted to say she was being hugged. Tightly.

Syqvara brought her arms up to return the gesture though not as tight. "Nice to see you too." Chandra had never done anything like this before so she instantly thought something was wrong. There had to be something bothering him to make him hug her, so she asked. "Is everything alright, Chandra?" Had he had a fight with someone? Or lost someone? Sy hoped it was neither. While she found his quick temper cute most the time she could also guess what he could do if he really wanted to hurt someone. His earlier show of lightning was evidence of that.

Standing there she felt the tips of her ears growing warm which meant they were likely red. Her cheeks would follow suit soon. Then the leafling caught sight of Arwen again. "Sorry Arwen. Don't get mad." Sy knew how protective the sprite could be when it came to other females around Chandra.
