This SubForum encompasses all of the unexplored lands of the world. Capable of being accessed from any kingdom, herein lies riches and dangers beyond one's wildest dreams. There are a couple rules and guidelines one must know before traversing this place: an adventurer's common sense, if you will. Below are these guidelines as well as how taking on these dangerous areas will work.
The Unexplored Region works off of a dice roll system. Please be aware that this isn't for roleplaying or combat purposes, simply what the party will come across. The maximum amount of time a party can explore without setting up camp or turning back for home is six hours. They may stop at any point before this, however. The longer the amount of time the party stays in the region, the greater the rewards and the dangers. Below is a chart to better describe this.

If a party goes exploring for an hour, they may not encounter much danger, but the goods and places they find won't be extraordinary. On the other hand, if a party goes exploring for six hours, they may encounter a very powerful enemy but may also find treasures of legends. Obviously, we don't have a leveling system in Nevermore: A Tale of Knights, but this is an approximate scale of what characters will be dealing with on what level.
Setting Up Camp
If you find you've hit your six hour mark and don't quite want to return to town, you'll be able to set up camp to rest for one hour. This will spark a moderator roll. We'll roll 1d20 to see how your camp situation fairs. Nothing may happen but you could enter into a d10-level'd encounter. Once this period is complete, you may begin rollling again. You will start the second half of your day on 1d8 rather than 1d6, resulting in two rolls of 1d20 at the end of your day's adventure. This will increase your rewards and your enemies, so be careful with how audacious you feel! Your party can explore a landscape for as many days as they please, but another dice of the same level will be added to roll. For example, on your third day of exploring in the same region, your first roll will consist of 3d6. Things will get pretty crazy this way, so please be aware of your choices.
GUIDELINES AND RULES FOR ADVENTURING
1. A party must have a minimum of two and may have a maximum of six players.
2. An exploration permit is required to be able to legally explore the area. The form is below, and you may post your request for a permit it the appropriate topic within this SubForum.
3. Only the leader of the party may roll unless otherwise stated by your moderator.
4. Know your limits! If you had a hard time with the last encounter, then it could be time to turn back. We'll mention in the prompt for your roll how dangerous we believe an encounter may or may not be for your party.
5. Do not continue posting until a moderator informs you of the outcome of your roll. We'll have a set list for each dice-level, so we're not making this up on the fly. If you do well, you will receive well.
6. All parties must have a goal, otherwise what would be the point. Whether it be monster or treasure hunting, refining skill, adventure and mystery, or even the discovery of a new land, a party needs to have goal to be able to cohesively work together.

Landscapes
Forest: The vast landscape in between the northern and southern kingdoms of Eldrin and Carmillion, full of trees and subject to the seasons, it's the perfect place for a beginning adventurer.
Desert: West of the Forests is a barren wasteland of sand. It's incredibly hot during the day and incredibly cold at night. Seemingly devoid of any sort of life, this landscape can become a treacherous enemy (Discovered via Exploration by Rengato).
Snowy Mountains: Home to the snow-covered kingdom of Yuki no Okoku, these mountains and cliffs can be both beautiful and dangerous (Discovered via Exploration by Rengato).
Sky Platform: CURRENTLY INACCESSIBLE BY THOSE WHO CANNOT FLY OR NOT DRAGON KIN Before anyone may request this place, they must have discovered it or have been from it. It will be available to the public once its existence has been reported to a currently known kingdom. A floating continent in the sky above the decaying forest below only able to be reached by flight or similar method. The top is covered in lush jungles full of beauty, waterfalls, dragons, and a volcano...a perfect getaway just outside and/or above the Snowy Mountains (Discovered via Exploration by Weeamoo).
Dead Forest: Before anyone may request this place, they must have discovered it or have been from it. It will be available to the public once its existence has been reported to a currently known kingdom. Full of dead trees and decaying shrubbery, this dark place looks as though it were totally barren of life. These types of places attracts all sorts, however, so be prepared for some interesting and difficult encounters (Discovered via Exploration by Weeamoo)!
