Ree frowned as he looked away from the mirror and answered the phone that was starting to die from lack of battery. A quick look at the number froze him for less than as second as he answered and put it to his head glancing back toward the room. "...Yes" he said blankly, his mind moving back to what was said before. "Anadii? why? What are you doing? " he frowned then blinked as he clenched his hand into a fist at Tri's reply. Think about it..Ha, it didn't seem like Tri did much thinking on it.

"She hasn't gotten better I assume ..." he sighed softly at Tri's reply. "I'm not that close to Belrad.... can he use my phone as a target to jump out of?" he muttered tiredly, not daring to tell Tri and not even sure how Anadii was going to react. "Now with less bite. What are you doing " he asked, is voice turning a bit cold as he listened to Tri talk to Anadii while he glanced around the room for Ashral.

Anadii resurfaced through Ree's phone, reforming itself about a foot away from the other Meta. As soon as it was back in the "real" world, it blinked and turned its gaze to Ree. "Hello Administrator Ree." It blinked again, shifting to remove the pack from its back. "He has sent your laptop in this backpack." It glanced around the room where they were - attempting to gauge its surroundings... Was this a safe place? Why had Ree run off without them? Something did not seem... right.

Prepare to leave without warning.

After arriving in the room, and settling into bed, somehow she had come to phase through the bed to underneath the bed subconsciously finding that more comforting than her prior position. There, she had honestly been asleep curled up underneath the bed since then, not once waking up during her time there. If it weren't for the occasional soft mutter here and there, one might have thought she had died under there. Only really taking a sigh of air every now and again to breath, but for the most part completely still, curled up underneath.

Only when there had been voices in the room had she almost began to awaken, but not sure if it was a dream or not, she remained asleep, exhaling a light sigh once again and shifting very slightly. In all honesty, she'd likely stay asleep underneath the bed for days on end if never disturbed it seemed.

"Hello, Anadii .....you um have a hoodie " he said quietly, glancing at the phone that was now literally dead and wondered what would have happened if Anadii had gotten stuck half way through when that happened...and decided not too. He would have to be more careful about that ...or actually ask him later.

Looking back at the younger meta he nodded and reached for the pack with a look of relief and sadness as he took it from him. Even if angry Tri still remembered. Lifting it up he placed it on the chair next to them. The rest of the room was a decent hotel room with just one bed a TV stand two night stands and a couple of blankets on the floor, one even pushed up underneath the bed.

Ree glanced back at the bed and looked toward the corners of the blanket that could be seen and tried not to sight as he looked back. "Tri wasn't very specific why he sent you to me other than he wanted me to keep an eye on you. Think you can tell me more? Especially what he was doing" he said quietly, hoping Ash didn't wake. Not that she woke in the past two days as far as he was able to see or at least not for long but she might.

"Yes, it is my disguise." It nodded in response, looking back to Ree finally. "He did not specify much to me either. All that I know is that they are going to a place that I cannot go, there are too many Teldhet operatives there." Well, it supposed it could specify further... but something - perhaps that voice - was holding it back from expanding further on what it knew.

"My old coverings are in your backpack as well." It figured it should probably tell Ree that since he'd taken the backpack without even really looking inside of it. It wouldn't really care - but the fabric those clothes were made out of was much more breathable than its current outfit.

"Teldhet? ...where was he going? and alone?" he asked looking worried, for someone who thought he was an idiot ...this seemed almost exactly the same thing to him.

Resisting the urge to reach out and pull the hood over Anadii's head he turned away and looked to the bed and then back, looking undecisive for a moment before lowering his wings and turning to look fully at Anadii. "Did he also mention why I left or might be doing?"

Anadii blinked, considering... Tri hadn't told it not to share these details... "Norcrest. No, he is not alone." It shook its head, following Ree's gaze to the bed... which was when it noticed the blanket sticking out from under neath. Strange... It returned its gaze to Ree, once more shaking its head. "No, I have not been told why you left or what it is that you are doing. I have gathered from his reaction as well as Mara's that it was not something that was planned nor desired."

There was yet more talking, always talking. Whispers and voices. She exhaled a little more forcefully as she curled up a bit more. Shogu was talking to people. He was always talking to people. She was supposed to be quiet. Not a sound. Stirring slightly, she settled after a few more moments, still being as quiet as possible in her half-asleep state. All she knew was the place she had grown up, dark and small. It felt safe. Familiar. Her eyes closed, she remembered how she'd always her other voices in the workshop, and the whispers of the swords he made. "...shogu..." she whispered in her sleep and reflexively brought up a hand slowly to cover her mouth gently. You were supposed to be quiet. If they find out, you will be killed. she nodded slowly, still not waking up as she slowly removed her hand, stirring once more before settling to remain still in her rather long sleep.

"Norcrest?" Ree frowned, why was Tri heading back there and with who?. "Who did he go with?". He assumed it was Hexxis but why Norcrest? That was likely the worst place for both of them right now unless Tri had a contact who he thought might help...and not turn him in.

He nodded slightly to Anadii's other statement. None of this was desired or planned and he couldn't even guess at the outcomes. "No..it wasn't. We had a difference of opinion. I came looking for Ashral.....the malice that used to be inside of Hexxis. Tri does not approve...nor did he approve of what happened when I found out..." He frowned and looked away as wings shifted along the ground in faint distress. "Doesn't matter" he shook his head and looked up. "One thing I didn't tell him but have to tell you is that I found her...and that it could be dangerous if you stayed " he motioned back toward the bed with a wing, or technically under it. "She is okay with me when she is lucid but I am not sure how she will react to you. Worst case I can try to rent another room next door"

Anadii blinked, thinking... should it tell him? It supposed there wasn't much trouble in that. "He has gone with someone named "Bob." I do not know very much else about her." Well, technically it didn't know anything at all about her aside from the fact that the name wasn't one she was fond of.

Ree's explanation caused it to light up a little, eyes widening just slightly. A Malice? Ree purposely sought out a Malice? Every bit of data it had on Malices told it to stay far, far away from them if possible. Metas with Malices were dangerous and unpredictable - Teldhet didn't even bother attempting to bring them in if they could avoid it...

Mentally, it brought up Tri's phone number and sent a message: "There is a Malice here named Ashral, Ree does not know if I am safe here."

It followed his motion to the bed again, eyes narrowing just a little as it examined it... That explained the blanket...

He willingly puts you in harm's way.
Withheld information that would have kept you safe
Safer than here
Leave.

It looked back to Ree, a deeper frown than usual on its face. "This was vital information that would have effected the decision on where to send me. The purpose of sending me here was to keep me safe, and this is clearly not a safe space to be. I will seek other arrangements." It turned to look to the backpack, then back to Ree. "I will require my old coverings."

Hmm... more talking... they were talking about her. She made a quiett groan under her breath as she slowly opened her eyes, and slid her vision over to see two pairs of feet. This wasn't a usual place she'd be, it was a disorienting feeling as she exhaled softly, focusing on their words. As Ree mentioned she was okay when she was lucid, she frowned. Had she done something wrong. Had she hurt someone again.

"I am not sure how she will react to you."

She heard the voice, Ree's voice. She pushed herself backwards and out of the other side of the bed from the two and brought herself to sit up just enough to peak over the bedsheet. The other person was a smaller meta with odd-colored skin, glowing even. Ashral waited quietly, listening to them. The other person spoke in such a way that reminded her of Hexxis which both set forth an irritated feeling but also a sense of longing. The other person did not think it was safe to be around her and she frowned. They.. weren't wrong.. She was a malice, after all. She had killed people before, and likely would do it again if she stopped being 'lucid'. She lowered her head as she sat between the wall and the bed, pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. Why did it hurt so much to hear them talk about her like that. It made her angry, but she didn't blame them, only having her hatred be replaced by a disheartening solitude that pained through her chest and she tried to fight back the tears that were beginning to form at the corners of her eyes. Ashral wished she could prove that she wasn't a danger, but there was nothing she could do or say that could prove that only to have it dashed in an instant if she started to lose control of her thoughts again.

'...shogu felt the same way...'

"Oh..." he heard of Bob but had not actually meet her, a former friend of Mara was all he knew. He sighed as he watched Anadii light up a bit as he explained about Ashral and assumed that was alarm considering the other times he had lit up.

There really was no logical argument to keep him here and even if he stayed with them there was always the danger Anadii would be harmed or killed. So why did he agree? because Tri had asked and Tri knew what he was doing. He could only assume that Tri thought what danger he was going into was more than Ree trying to take anadii and look for Ashral...or assumed he would stop because Anadii was there.

He was left with the decision of trying to either convince Anadii to stay, something even he thought was a bad idea , return to Tri and risk his chances or find him somewhere else to stay.

"That is true, Tri did not give me much time to talk..." he frowned and shook his head. "What other arrangements will you seek? or are you going to return to Tri even with Teldhet involvement?" not actively stopping him but not going to let him leave without some kind of plan. He didn't turn as he heard the soft shifting of sound behind them, at least not yet.

"I do not know." It shook its head, noticing the brief appearance of Ashral's head over the edge of the bed. It looked back to Ree, shifting its weight on its legs. "I will find some place like this to stay, likely back in Belrad as there is no Teldhet presence there. All that is required is currency to pay for it and the ability to acquire food, both are simple tasks. It will suffice for two weeks." The whole 'independence' thing didn't seem too impossible to do... it would be better than staying in close quarters with someone that could very well decide to kill it at any moment.

Ashral just seemed to continue to feel worse, slipping a hand into her stocking, she pulled out the paper and thought for a bit on it before sighing and putting it back. She closed her eyes and calmly, and slowly came to a stand. Ashral looked over to Ree and Anadii then shifted her eyes to the ground. "...if it's a problem... I will just go... It's fine..." she muttered softly, pulling a hand up to grab her arm for a second before forcing herself to release her arm again. Keeping her eyes averted, she kept an almost remorseful expression. "I am a danger to both of you, so I shouldn't be around anyone..." she forced herself to look at Ree, forcing a smile through the pain she felt. "Right?... I mean, I'm capable... And worse comes to worse... I'll go find Shogu... I have to eventually talk to him anyway. So.. maybe that's my cue to go find him..." she offered, taking a shaky breath as she tried to stay confident about her words. She didn't want to hurt either of them, but there was never any guarantee she wouldn't. And she wouldn't honestly realize it until it was likely far too late.
