I think it is important to note that I have spent an hour looking and still cannot find the date of the ball!

No fault on anyone, but in order to keep this awesome tradition going (I remember this in '0 cool we need to really keep it out there.

I am talking fundraising threads, charities, "belle of the ball" fashion contests, a whole variety of things that can be done rather quickly, honestly.

I think that if people throw a couple bil in for prizes, we can get people pumped months in advance.

All you need is page number prizes and some dice games and you'll have folks treading your thread for ages!

Ah, I figured out what's up. The ball date was sent out to everyone in an announcement, and I goofed and forgot to put it down somewhere where it wouldn't get auto-deleted after a couple of month's time. Thanks for pointing that out!

Regarding your suggestions, are you referring to events/contests for the actual day or events for the planning guild to participate in in the lead-up to the ball? We are hoping to have a mini-rp event in the lead up to the ball, so those ideas could definitely come into play there.
