There were approximately three hundred things Cadmus was not good at, but at the top of the list was battles. Specifically, battles against the Negaverse. After accidentally sending his first encounter with one to an early watery grave, the pink-haired boy was reluctant to go up against any; running off at the painful sensing of their Chaos signatures and for home.
Unfortunately, circumstances were not in his favor. After powering up and heading off for his daily patrol, he bounded off rooftops. As always, his landings were always full of stumbles, but never did he think he would miss the edge of the rooftop. Realizing his mistake, his red eyes widened to the whites and he gracefully tumbled from above and... right on top of the unfortunate agent.
"Oof...!" he yelped, before rubbing his side. "That... huuuurt. Geeze..." It took a small moment before Cadmus realized the pain crawling up to his ear and winced. Putting two and two together, he looked under himself, and then froze.
"Oh... Oh crap."

Arseno was lightly humming to himself, mostly thinking about the next part of the video game he was currently into, having a bit of trouble going forward but thinking of ways he could be better at it. He did this while finishing draining some poor civilian who just happened to catch his eye tonight and didn't put up much of a fight.
It was a wonder that there wasn't some kind of news going around of Destiny City's serial assaults going around, but perhaps they were too focused on the senshi "terrorists" that seemed to "plague" the city. He scoffed a bit. Really. Could the news only focus on one thing at a time?
During all of this he was unaware of the approaching senshi aura and subsequent senshi that followed it and so he was taken by surprise when something landed on top of him, forcing him to the ground. Luckily this alleyway wasn't too... disgusting. And he hadn't landed on his victim so that counted for something right?
He groaned a bit before hearing what sounded like a young voice coming from above. He grunted as he rolled over, knocking whoever had landed on him off, and slowly getting up from the ground and looking over to see it was a... kid? A child senshi?
... And he thought the negaverse was bad. The senshi's were using children?!"

When Cadmus was knocked off, he face planted into (thankfully) a clean section of the alleyway. Unfortunately, he snubbed his nose come his fall, and turned with great offense to Arseno; scowling at him.
"My nose...!" the boy cried aloud, shaking a fist at him. "What was that for—?!" Suddenly, he paused and felt a shiver pass through him. "H-h-h-holy crapola, you're a Negaverser!" he cried out in fear.
However, not wanting to be done in by the lieutenant and recalling that he was supposed to be the hero, he quickly said more seriously, "No, wait, you're in trouble! Berry big trouble!" Jumping to his feet, he jabbed an accusatory finger in the lieutenant's direction. "What have you been doing, evil doer?!"

Arseno rolled his eyes a bit. He wasn't exactly sure what the kid expected. For Arseno to wait patiently while the kid recovered and then got off of his back? He was still a bit surprised that he was seeing a kid senshi. Although he had been told a bit of both sides, he had never heard of the senshi using children in their group. He wondered if the negaverse did the same.
Arseno was about to say to the kid that he should have watched where he was going, as it did seem that the fall was an accident, when he was taken back by what the kid said. 'Berry big trouble...' He couldn't help himself by staring at the kid, surprise in his eyes. "I... what?" Was that a catch phrase? Had the kid actually just said that now? What?!

The chibi senshi rolled his eyes after folding arms across his chest. Suddenly, the fact that this guy was an agent of the Negaverse didn't matter; he was more disappointed in the fact the guy didn't follow-up on his ultra cool superhero challenge.
"C-c'mon, dude, you know the schtick," he said, beckoning as if that would, somehow, make his intentions come across. "I say a super cool line, you say a super cool line, we duke it out and you either give up or kick my butt. Either way, it's how this works." He tapped his foot impatiently "So, c'mon, say something."

Arseno blinked a few times trying to take this all in. Did this kid think this was Power Rangers or something? He glared at the runt as the kid rolled his eyes. Well, with all of the stammering the senshi still seemed to be pretty confident in himself.
"Kid, this is real life. That's not how it works." He wouldn't admit that he couldn't think of anything. And besides, how was someone supposed to follow up a line like the senshi just gave. Really? Who even does that? Certainly no one else that he had come across.
And while he could have been a bit more confident in his abilities to fight the little senshi, he wouldn't underestimate their power. The kid had been chosen for a reason and for that Arseno wasn't going to take any chances.

Cadmus scoffed. "Duh, like, I know," he replied. "I've been at this a while. I know about the... how does it go... 'seedy underbelly' of this thing between senshi and, uh, you guys. It ain't pretty since people, like, die, but since I've made it this far, it must mean I'm one of the few with potential."
Or the few that just got lucky.
"So if that's how you're gonna be, well, I'm just gonna start us off!"
Clapping his hands together, Cadmus shoved them out toward Arsenopyrite. Suddenly, an avalanche of bouncing cranberries gushed out in his direction.

Arseno stayed silent as he heard the young senshi's words. Poor kid. Kid's shouldn't be fighting wars at this age. However, he was brought back out of his thoughts as the senshi seemed to be preparing an attack. He had only battled one other senshi before so he couldn't quite tell but it seemed as though they put their hands in front of them to attack somehow. At least that was what he had experienced so far.
He was not prepared however for the cranberry wave that hit him and while it did hurt a bit, he had to keep his eyes closed in case one hit him in the eye. At least his mouth and nose were covered though.
Quickly thinking, or at least he thought it was quick, he moved to one of the other sides without lifting his feet. More of a shuffle so that he wouldn't slip on one of the ones accidentally, if it were possible to do so, and concentrated on summoning his weapon.
It was situations like this where he was glad that he hadn't ended up with something like a bookmark or a pair of children's scissors like some of his fellow agents had. Right now though he would have to endure the attack and wait for an opening. A small senshi like this couldn't attack forever.

The wave of cranberries subsided as Cadmus brought his arms back to his person. Folding them together in triumph, he suddenly felt his fear of the Negaverse begin to recede.
Were all of them this easy? Or had he just gotten stronger?
Whatever the reason, he nodded in reassurance to him. Then, looking at the lieutenant, he pulled his bottom eyelid down and blew a raspberry at him.
"Nyeeeh, take that, you dirty evil doer!" he cried. "You should've known better than to mess with me!"

Arseno felt and heard the wave subside, and wiped some of the juice off of his eyes before looking to where the senshi should be. There was still some juice in his eyes but the stinging wasn't that bad and he wasn't worried about it, cranberry juice wouldn't be able to blind someone that easily.
He stared at the kid a bit before cocking his head to one side in a wondering gesture and crossed his arms. This kid was quite confident. "Kid, you do know those were just cranberries right? I could have eaten those if I wanted." He would have to get some juice on the way home.
He sighed before uncrossing his arms and using his small speed boost as an agent to get right next to the senshi and grab his shoulder. "It's going to take more than that to knock me down." He almost felt a bit sorry for the kid. Overconfidence in a situation like this might just hurt him in the future.

Cadmus's cheeks puffed out. "I-it's still a good power!" he cried, shaking fists at the agent. "It c-can hurt! It can, like—"
His skin prickled when he felt the touch on his shoulder and he jerked around toward Arseno, slapping his hand off.
"T-then have a mouthful, here!"
Using the close proximity again, he clapped his hands together, and directed another wave his way.

Arseno was ready this time though and managed to get a bit aways so that if he couldn't dodge the fruit wave then he at least wouldn't be hit as hard. This would probably be easier if he were more willing to fight the kid, but for right now, he was having a bit of a hard time trying to even touch the kid. The ranged attacks the senshi could do were also harder to retaliate against considering agents used close-combat techniques.
"You aren't going to win this I hope you know. Throw those cranberries about all you want, but there's only so much you can do with them."

Cadmus sucked his teeth, silently cursing to himself. He realized he used his second attack to hastily and now, only down to one, he had to make it last.
While he didn't have power on his hands, he still had his speed. He'd flee as soon as scales seemed to tip away from his favor. Instead, he tried to instigate the Negaverser for some deplorable reason. Maybe his overconfidence got to his head?
"Well, if you're gonna attack me, just do it!" he cried. "You've yet to do anything, y'know."

Arseno would have summoned his weapon, but he didn't feel like beating up the kid with what could be considered a slightly thicker stick. It would be like that video of the guy being slowly killed by a spoon. Just sad.
So he looked at the kid and sighed. "Really, you shouldn't be asking for this but if you insist..." And with that he ran at the kid, ready to dodge any attack that the senshi might just be waiting to use, and swung his fist out.Unoderi Well if you insist emotion_awesome

"Oof!"
The chibi senshi keeled forward upon having the air knocked out of him; Arseno's punch landing him square in the gut. Despite the puff of air he took and the pain radiating up from his abdomen, he was just ever so thankful it wasn't his gnads.
Landing on his knees, he shouted, "Y-you jerk, that... Ugh... That huuurt!" He didn't even have the energy to retaliate, so he crumpled on the ground as a pile of ouchie.
