Outside his lusus was calmly tending to the flower garden they kept on the balcony in various ways and forums. Seeing the little tealblood from the other day the virgin mothergrub smiled warmly at the pair before resuming what she was doing.

Xavier had been sweeping out the dust in his hive when he heard the knocking. Only a small handful of trolls knew exactly where he lived...and this was one of the trolls. He had shown her his hive after staying at her place one night, they had walked back to his hive together. His booted footsteps scampered for the door. The robotic troll inside his hive was still actively jumping...the thing has smelled, made an awful racket and then wouldn't stop bouncing until it tired itself out. Xavier had dark circles under his lookstubs as he pulled the door open

"Ahh hi Eil!" His expression brightened. He'd thought it was her based on the nickname and cries about trying to sooth what he assumed was a robot like his. "I've tried so many things...the thing is annoying and does what it wants." He sighed in frustration before smiling at her. "I've tried all the things Mum would have...it doesn't seem to be working." He pouted slightly his freckled cheeks flushing with his jade hue.

"They are pretty loud..I don't mind for some reason. Do yuh wanna hang out while we figure out these things?" He asked softly moving to the side to allow her entrance into his spacious tree-lined hive.

Xavier looked at her, blinking rapidly several times as she looked at him horrified. He looked exhausted. "They..are it seems like yuh. I have two friends, Amonee and Nucleo who's coffee shop I work for..um..they have them like you and I do." The jadeblood explained shaking his head in dismay.

The jadeblood was out of it. He'd had strange daymares mixed with clowns and daywalkers. They regularly plagued his dreams now..it was unsettling. All he'd been able to do with his robot initially in the early evening was turn the lights on so it would stop crashing into things..and get his morning chores done. Xavier really didn't know what to do with the bot-kid. How had his lusus been so patient! Trying to sleep so little and tend to somethings well being and needs was cumbersome.

"I wasn't this difficult to Mum yuh...they are very needy." He shook his head in dismay offering to get her something from his thermal hull if she was hungry, or thirsty. She could make herself at home in his hive as he'd promised on her first visit here.

Xavier looked at her suddenly, a wary look on his face as he looked at the robot-trolls, his eyes going wide. "Well..I read the letter that came with it..they were those cute little robot grubs. They were so peaceful yuh know...I didn't think they'd turn out like this after they came out of their growth coons!" He wrinkled his nose in frustration.

Panic settled in his features at her words. Did she really think that was likely? His eyes widened, staring at her in disbelief. He jumped when she threw her hands out. His heart beat raced wildly at the idea. "N..no I wasn't until now...yuh don't think we'd get sent an official letter to celebrate lusus appreciation week awareness...?" He went to his counter, grabbing a letter as he stood beside her, reading it out loud to the younger troll.

"I don't..think they'd send us a bomb. You want to go on a walk with ours maybe..?" He offered as a distraction for all of them to do together.

Xavier listened to her and nodded in consideration. "I found it attached to the crate...Mum handed it over to me." He explained to her as he pursed his lips in consideration. His fangs worried at his bottom lip as he heard her comment about things blowing up. "Let's just hope that has nothing to do with it. Our Queen..doesn't want her people dead...everytroll's life is important. I think so anyway. We all come from the same life source." He smiled thoughtfully, eyes glancing at his lusus.

Laughing nervously he shook his head at her. "Eili...you worry as much as I do about stuff I say to other trolls..Yuh know, I think..it will be okay. For us both." He reassured her, giving her hand a squeeze. Xavier went to get his robot-kid along with hers to take them outside, and down to the ground level of his hive.

"Do yuh have any plans for the evening?" He inquired, curious if she would stay over. He had several coons in his spacious treehive, he had already considered offering her one of the rooms..along with Nucleo and Amonee for when they visited, and to have their own space. He just hadn't had that talk yet with anyone in particular.

Xavier nodded slowly. "There might be a cast system..and lot's of violence on Alternia but I think this is a celebration week even if it's weird and kinda hard to keep up with." The freckled trolls nose wrinkled slightly. "Yuh. I am only guessing but it seems like a safe guess." He nodded...frowning slightly. "I'm really careful generally speaking too...not many trolls know where me and Mum live." He murmured softly smiling at her. "Being careful keeps trolls alive..I don't want any trouble and try and keep things peaceful around here." He explained with a gentle shrug.

Looking at the robots he made a face as it began smoking. It smelled horrible! Groaning in dismay the younger troll lightly poked at the robot. "At least they are letting off that stuff outside instead of smelling up the hive!" He cried out noisily swiping a gloved hand at the smoke to fan it away from them.

Xavier paused..fangs nipping at his bottom lip. "You are welcomed to stay over if yuh like..? I have to work at the Cafe tomorrow but it sounds like fun for the evening maybe." Xavier considered with a thoughtful expression. At least this way they'd both have company while they suffered through the robot mess. "If not another night. Just figured I'd offer since we are in the same boat." Xavier gestured to their robots before laughing sheepishly with a soft sigh.

Xavier might have been a jadeblood, but the robots seemed like a strange celebration tool. Any raising instincts the troll might have felt were being tested by the mechanical trolls destructive behavior, among other wild issues it had. Xavier looked to her with a reassuring smile, despite his own anxiety. It was just easier to handle in the company of another troll he felt. Gesturing back towards the large spacious hive they'd walked from, his shirt sleeve flapped in the wind a bit.

"Yuh! I have extra coons, even one for you..it's next to my respiteblock. My two friends each have a space in my hive also. I wanted to share..my hives big. You can always leave stuff over for future visits alright?" He offered. Xavier briefly rubbed his own neck leaving his gloved hand there. However her offer to cook for him brought a wide smile to the boys face.

"Breakfast I think that sounds really nice..!! We'll deal with these crazy robots together..and hang out. Papa Bear will have enough room t-to. Mum doesn't seem to mind." He nodded, relieving the worry just encase that was something she was worried about.

Xavier's expression was calm, happy even as he listened to her speak. His own faint jade flush to his cheeks hadn't quiet vanished. He returned the renewed hand holding, giving her palm a gentle squeeze. Xavier carefully laced his fingers with Eili's. He felt her leaning into him, his cheek briefly rest against the top of her head. Yet his walk was a bit clumsy occasionally, and would walk into her as they spoke.

The jadeblood noted they were now crashing into one another in a competitive manner. He felt stressed and resentful towards them. A pang of guilt coursed through the troll, wasn't he supposed to be nurturing? Most of the stereotypes the media had portrayed of jadeblood's had always been that of a caring role. The idea he was somehow letting down his heritage was disheartening.

Although it was hard to feel sad in the company of a friend, and lusus closeby! He smiled shaking his head. "No problem! Yuh have been just as nice it's been my pleasure." Xavier replied, glancing distance down to the petite tealblood. "So...thank you too." He concluded, guiding them away from a few scenic areas, promising to show them off another time. He didn't want oil in the water. Even pointing out unique or interesting rocks wasn't on the agenda right now. Taking them back to his hive he felt was a service to nature in not letting the robots run rampant any further outdoors.

Xavier was glad for the company, especially in the face of such a trying "celebration." He had never been more thankful for his Lusus or friends then in that exact moment.
