As far as her pack was away from the waters, she couldn't help but travel here. There was something about the sea that brought peace to the normally angry soul that was Tamesis. Eyes stared out at the waves gently crashing and lapping against the shore and rocks, sound so gentle she could fall asleep right here in the sands.

It was then that she felt a gentle breeze against her face and ears. The feeling so euphoric, she couldn't help but to close her eyes, open her maw and let her tongue loll as if she were a pup again. The female stood seeming to dance along with the air stream, her tail high as she kicked up sand, often daring to run into the water, snap at the waves that "attack" her, then sprint back to the shores. Tamesis had lost herself in the thrill of land and sea. Who knew a cold blooded killer could have such a childish sense of fun?

Gajeel stepped out onto the sand, his paws shifting slightly as it absorbed his weight, he too loved the ocean and came here often to clear his mind, perhaps to think, and perhaps to think nothing at all, to just experience and be. He inhaled a deep breath of briney air and thought "Home". To be fair he lived on an island where he was very happy, he was on the mainland now trolling for pack..still.

A flash of gleeful movement caught his eye and he tilted his head at the spectacle the ocean brought before him. A she-wolf at play...with no pack around? She was no delta or beta however..this was a leader, he recognized her as one of his own from body language, she knew who was boss and so would everyone around her. She looked like she was having fun, he turned ready to head back into the woods not wanting to disturb her while she was having one of the few moments that alphas had to themselves..well alphas unlike him, those with pack.

The Alpha idly came to a loping trot, tongue lolling out the side of her mouth as she came up the bank, belly down soaking wet from her zealous dives into the waters. As her paws kicked up clumps of wet sand, the winds brushed against her nostrils bringing a strange scent. Her head immediately snapped toward the woods attempting to catch any sign of movement. From her gaze, she outlined the dark male carrying a familiar stature.

Qhothaar?

A gutteral snarl crept up from her throat as flashes of the wolf who sired her flashed in her mind. Could she take him? He must be close to being a Gamma at this point, but he still carried himself well. The thoughts of what he did to her siblings became like a poison as it seeped through her being into her very core. Without even a second thought, she felt her body propelling her forward kicking up dirt, sand, shells, seaweed, and anything else caught in her warpath.

"You're mine, Father!" Her bitterness spat through her war cry as she leaped forward hurling her whole weight toward the much bigger male; her vision so clouded by hate she couldn't realize that this wasn't in fact her father, and some random wolf had caught her ire unnecessarily. Now would he live to explain her mistake was another matter all together.

"What?" Gajeel half turned to see the snarling female bearing down on him like a charging mother moose. Uh oh. Automatically his head and tail came up as he assumed his battle stance, it declared him alpha, it declared him ready. He might be of pure vurfang blood but living and growing up as a vileclaw would make him prepared. It was not altogether unusual to meet with such ferocity upon first meeting, they lived in a hard place with hard wolves. He just hadn't had someone come after him in quite some time..

He prepared to leap and waited for her to hit the perfect spot when he did, he bared his own teeth not willing to stand and be torn apart by anyone. He was not that innocent puppy anymore..and never would be again. He was fair, he could be kind but he was nobody's push over.

He batted at her with big paws trying to push the she-wolf down, he knew it would not work but he didn't really want to hurt her, she was so tiny...but so ready to eat him. A conundrum to be sure, so he used all his strength and longer reach to stay out of her way, she was so fast. He hadn't competed like this in so long that he felt old muscles rejuvenate to his call. It felt...good.

He just hoped he could continue this dance until they were both too tired to fight...then they could actually use words...hopefully she was that civilized..one could never really tell could they? In any case he was enjoying this.

She threw her body into every ferocious tackle, with every defensive smack of her paws, with every attempt of a lethal bite. Tamesis was making it clear that she wouldn't leave this fight defeated, even if she would be the one barely hanging on at the end. But this fighting was...different. Was her father holding back? Was this a new style he learned in the Wastes of the Vileclaw territory?

As a pup she had seen her father spar and train with the other wolves. He even led his own band of elite warriors that were the first on the scene during any sort of defense. Qhothaar was compassionate to those he cared for, but ruthless to others that crossed him. It was for that reason, when he found out the true identity of his mate, that he massacred and mutilated his pups. It was that reason Tamesis had the physical and emotional scars to prove her derangement. It was that reason she was here now attempting to fight the ghosts and demons that plagued her constantly in an effort to make some kind of vengeance.

Tamesis felt her muscles strain against the fight, felt the rage fueling her warrior instincts slowly fade. Burning sensations washed over her body, but she refused to yield as fang, blood, and fur went flying along the outlines of the beach and the forests. It was only when a miscalculated jump landed her on her back did her father seem to take advantage of her blunder. Baring her fangs, she felt her chest heave begging for air it seemed, her body exhausted from the physical fight. She hadn't eaten in the past few days either. Had she, this fight would have been different, the Alpha fae was sure of it.

As she wound down from the fight, she couldn't help but blink a few times. This wolf she had been carelessly wasting her energy on was not, in fact Qhothaar. It was a dark wolf that looked VERY much like him...but on studying his frame, they were different. Qhothaar wasn't this big...he also didn't have spikes on his tail and legs... After flaring her nostrils, his scent was completely different all together. Embarrassment burned in her throat as she pushed the male off defiantly getting some space in between them.

"You're not him. You're not my father." Tamesis couldn't hide the pain in her voice as she slumped to the ground, eyes burning holes into the male's. More than likely she would have to face this later, or Dreznir would hear of this. Or maybe she could just rip this male's throat out. The last option was VERY enticing...

At some point in the very tangled proceedings, during which he pulled his blows and bites so he only got fur and she would have mild bruising instead of the pulp he knew that they could turn each other into, he found himself on top staring into her lone orange eye. Well it was about time she realized that he wasn't..her father? He snorted

"Do I look that old? Really?" He had no grey that he could remember, she had more grey then he did darn it. He snorted as she pushed him off her, giving them both some much needed space. It was hard for him to stop the fight, he had been enjoying it greatly. It wasn't that often he could tussle with someone on par with his rank. Heaving a great huff he stayed standing despite wanting to sit, he would not give her that satisfaction after she tried to truss him up like a kill. The female was like a small hurricane..with teeth. He had PATCHES missing! He didn't realize he had some vanity until AFTER they were got from his hide. His lip curled just the slightest bit. Which he was ashamed of. He flicked an ear and relaxed his face, sighing.

He narrowed his own eyes at her, wanting to ask questions, but refusing too. "No I am not your father, nor am I your enemy..or so I thought, we could change that if you really like, but I would prefer not to. Despite how much fun a real fight with you is." This was the same female who had played freely with the ocean just moments before ripping a sizable strip off him. Of course he noted with pride that she was now a bit patchy too and any real damage was old. If he had to look ragged she could too by thunder and storm.

He wasn't precisely sure what he was feeling right now a mix of irritation and frustration seemed to be at the forefront. "I'd ask what you are doing out so far, but I really don't care."
