Please tell me there are other people OBSESSED with all things Legend of Zelda. I am so ecstatic about the new game coming out for the Nintendo NX (name not officially released as such yet), but it has been confirmed it will be on the Wii U and new (NX) system.

I've seen comments floating around the internet calling it a wonderful lovechild between Wind Waker and Skyward Sword.

Personally, it reminds me more of Skyward Sword and Skyrim. Either way, it's amazing. Thoughts? Comments? Will you buy it, and if so, what system? What looks the most appealing to you?
Also if anyone plays Hyrule Warriors: Legends for the Nintendo 3DS, please let me know! I'd love to add friends!

I saw the trailer yesterday, it looks absolutely stunning. Like they took everything to love about exploring Hyrule and had a field day (pun not intended). I can't decide what console I'll be getting this for since all we know about the NX so far is what it's called. I usually don't buy new tech until it's either come down in price or been around enough to have all possible bugs worked out.

I can't decide what console I'll be getting this for since all we know about the NX so far is what it's called. I usually don't buy new tech until it's either come down in price or been around enough to have all possible bugs worked out. My roommate has the Wii U, and I'm with you, I don't usually buy new consoles when they first come out. (I mean, I waited on the Xbox One, and the new version of it is looking faaaabulous)
As much as I would probably regret it, I probably will wait on the NX. I might be a little late to the party just for finances ; 3;

I REALLY want to have him as a companion on BOTW, but I don't have any interest in getting TP HD (I really like my Gamecube version)
Nintendo has done it again, getting people to buy the lesser items in order to benefit the items that proceeded them. Ugh, I should have known! Not sure if worth looking on eBay or if the price will basically be the same as the game.
Also I'm jealous, I don't have any of the 3DS remakes, although they're on my bucket list! I made the game and DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Legends such a priority that I still haven't gotten around to buying OoT or MM. *raises fist in air* I'll get you eventuallyyyy

I also never update my systems, so the newest things I've got are a Wii and a Gameboy Advance (yup)

I would keep up with animal crossing and a couple other games but they seem to have migrated over into systems I don't have I don't keep up with many consoles, but I do with the gameboy. I have a New 3DS XL (which is a stupid naming convention, what happens when it's not new anymore?), and that has Hyrule Warriors: Legends and Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer on it. All very much so worth it.
As a fan of the AC series since America's first release on Gamecube, I highly recommend AC:NL, if you can afford the gameboy. It's well worth the upgrade.

Yes, I definitely will! I don't own a Wii U so I figure it would make more sense to buy the NX rather than invest in a Wii U. I have to really want the game in order to buy a console outright. The only other time I've done that (recently) is I bought a PS4 the day Fallout 4 came out. sweatdrop But YEEEEE Zelda! Ocarina of Time was the first game I ever sat down, played and beat! Took a lot of courage as a kid to get to doing the Deku Tree dungeon. And oh my God, REDEADS. I wonder if redeads will be in Breath of the Wild?
