Wendy was sitting in the grass of the park with a big floppy sunhat over her dark hair and giant sunglasses. Her tattoos were fully on display in the pleasant weather, full comic paneled sleeves of her favorite characters, and a thigh piece or two visible with her short shorts. On the grass in front of her, as she filmed them with her phone, were 4 tortoises that wandered slowly and munched on grass. Each one had a shell cozy of a particular color, distinguishing them from the others.

Today was... well, sort of weird, all things considered.
Shiloh's head was so jumbled. One of those days; he learned not to struggle or thrash against his thoughts because it was just fighting a losing battle. He hoped a walk would clear the air a little bit, settle his thoughts, calm him...
And honestly, he wasn't really feeling up to socialization, but there was a certain something that caught his attention. Make that four somethings; they were so small and so slow as they trawled around in the grass, and Shiloh adored them instantly. Whoever they belong to, whatever their names were, those tortoises were now his sons and or daughters.
Despite the women filming them, Shiloh wandered his way over, wide eyed at the delightful reptiles. He pointed at them. "Are they yours? I'm like... like," his voice cracked slightly from not using it all day, "like... I ********' love turtles."

Wendy glanced up, tapping her phone when the video interrupted, though she didn't seem to mind at all. "I also <******** love turtles.." She smiled, "They are mine.. Well my and my boyfriend's. We're building them a turtle lair, it's gonna be awesome." Wendy motioned to the color-coded tortoises, "You can hang out with them if you want. Obviously you can guess their names-" Because anyone who didn't know the ninja turtles needed a severe re-education.

Unfortunately for Shiloh, his education when it came to pop-culture was incredibly lacking. A childhood in a strict household (if it could even be called that) meant for not a lot of television, and while he knew a majority of more popular references in passing...
Instead of joining them like he so desperately wanted, Shiloh stood still as a statue. "Uh..." was his graceful response, because his mind drew a very obvious blank as he watched the tortoises graze.
"I'm... a-am I missing something?" Shiloh tried to look offended, because aggression was his usual go to, but instead there was something between insecure and anxious there. "How the ******** am I supposed to know their names?" ah, there was the unnecessary aggression.

Wendy's sunglasses slid down her nose, "Oh my god.." He was like.. a ******** blank slate. He was a precious baby. He needed an education. "Here- sit down." She patted the grass, seemingly ignorant of his slight aggression, "This one is Donatello, this one is Leonardo, this one is Raphael.. and this guy is MIchaelangelo." And before he could question it her phone was spun (and it was insanely large) and there was a video playing.
