Arith made his way into the park, tossing his hat up and catching it as he went.There had been nothing to do at home, and why stick around to just be bored?He had tried thinkin of places to go, but they were all to far away, so the park seemed like the place.He Trotted over to a swing and jumped into it, landing crouched on the seat as it swung forward."Woosh!"

Chath had come to the park alone, well...Jay had dropped him off there...she was worried about him being by himself and he had to promise to be really careful. He had his supplies with him, lots of water and a spray bottle to keep his skin moist. It was a nice day unfortunately and he had to continously spray himself over to keep himself from drying out.
Why had he been so persistant? Perhaps it was because he was tired of being babied. Chath looked up as he heard the squeal of the swing, swinging on its hinges. He currently was sitting inside a tube like structure to keep out of the sun. He poked his head out when he heard the sound and noticed a particular looking boy swinging awakwrdly on the wing.
"Hello!" he called out.

Aright's ears swiveled back when he heard someone call out Hello.He turned to see where it came from, almost falling from the swing as he did.Moving his hands up the swing chains he pulled himself up to stand in the swing, hoping this way he could find the person more easily.
There was a strange orange boy in some tube thing, and apparently he was the one who had said hello.Arith's ear's perked forward, as he had never seen a kid like this omne, but he rased a hand in a wave, jumping off the swing and onto the ground."Heya!"

Chath waved back, the husky boy was black with white markings. He was starting to envy the contrasting colors, though his own peachy skin plus his bright yellow hair was pretty contrasting.
In his hand he fiddeled with a rock that was attatched to a silver chain around his neck. He scramebeled out of the tube giving himself a mist over with his spray bottle before turnign to face the child.
"My name is Chath." he said offering a hand to help Arith up onto the jungle gym.

Arith watched the boy fiddle with the rock before comeing out of the tube.He cocked his head slightly to the side as the boy spreayed himself with water."Whats that for?"He pointed at the water bottle."Oh, and im Arith."He smiled and took the offered hand, scrampling up the jungle gym with Chath's help.

After helping Arith up he instantly released the boy hand and sprayed himself again. "Oh..this?" he said holding up the spray bottle full of water. The water didn't seem to roll off his skin but rather get absorbed into it. "I have to keep myself from drying out. that is why i have this." he said as he then looked over the husky boy.
"you don't to have to worry about that..your covered in fur!" he excliamed upon closer inspection.

Arith watched as the boy Chath sprayed water onto himself, blinking at the answer."Oh, so if you didn't do that you'd be like.."He glanced downwards, trying to remember what fruit it was that was make in the sun like that."Uhh..a raisin!"At the last comment he looked down at his fur."Yeah, I got fur."And you got cool orange skin."He smiled.

Chath beamed at the compliment and gave a laugh at the thought of him becoming a raisin. "Yah I don't awnt to look like a raisin, so i have to keep myself moist." he replied and then spritzed himself again.
"But why are you here?" he asked noticing that they seemed to be the only two children on the entire playground. "And what would you like to do? It was lonely here by myself. I am glad your here now."

Arith chuckled at the thought of someone turning into a raisin."Uhh, well there wasn't anything to do at my house so I decided to come here, its the only place close to my house."He had as well noticed the playground was strangely devoid of children when he got there, though was glad to find someone else."I dunno."He look around, trying to think of something fun to do.

"Well do you want to play circus? or cowboy and indians? cops and robbers? tag?" he was going to mention hie and seek but with only two children it wouldn't be nearly as fun. "Follow the leader? pIrates? we could make this jungle gym our priate ship!" he said sounding really enthused with his last idea.

Arith listened as Chath started throwing ideas around, thinkin each over for a few seconds.His ears perked forward at the last idea and he thoht about it.Pirate and make the jungle gym a ship?Sounded like a fun idea, so why not?He grinned and nodded."Pirates sound cool!"

Thrilled that Arith had agreed upon his favorite idea he smiled. "Excellent, now we have to decide who is captian, and what kind of treasure we are going fer." he said starting to slide into a pirate accent he had seen in a movie.
"Ar so you ready to head fer sea?" he said closing on eye to simulate having an eyepatch.

"Are a pirate treasure map of cerse." he agreed as he hung the water bottle into his belt loop and glanced around. Noticing some broken branches he hopped down off the jungle gym and grabbed them before climbing back up. "We be needin swords of course." he explained handing a stick to Arith.
"Now let us find out map! it will lead us to the treasure!"

Arith watched as Chath got down and picked up a couple sticks, coming back and handing him one."Of course we be needin swords."He took the offered stick and swung it experimentaly a few times before nodding."Well Cap'n, lead the way to look fer tha map!"
