Jeremiah was making them more and more of late, these hospital visits. It was becoming something common enough he was certain that some of the hospital staff knew him by his first name as well as his last.

At least, so far as he saw, he had not run into any of those strange hospital spiders. It would have put him on edge, worried him about the people, but ever since Autumn had dealt with them ... He had not caught sight of them. Perhaps they were more adept at hiding, who knew.

He came with a care package under his arm, something for Falco whom he was visiting. The young man getting torn up at Blackfriars would not leave his mind and they had not really spoken much. Not since he had been bogged down with work and handling everything that happened.

Knuckles rapped lightly against the door before he was pushing it open and walking in with a slight limp. "Falco?"

Jeremiah snorted.

"So I take it you are as good of a patient as I am when in the hospital?" Spoken as he walked but that was it as he came in and let the door close behind him.

"Zac is doing fine. He was," Jeremiah paused, "healed. How are you holding up?" He came over to the side of the hospital bed, pulling the chair up and sitting in it next to Falco. The care package was laid carefully in his lap.

"Your cat? Where is she anyway?" Jeremiah had not caught sight of her when he came in but he assumed that Falco's familiar could not be that far away from him. Not that she couldn't roam but that with him in the hospital, she was likely nearby. "Have you had trouble with them allowing her in here? I can talk with them if you have."

The detective lieutenant shook his head, leg bouncing a moment in his seat to bring attention to it. "My calf and shin got sliced good and my hip but otherwise I'm fine aside from a limp that'll go as I heal up." Jeremiah was uneasy with the fact that Falco had been so badly injured, the sight of him bloody was still there in his mind.

"Hopefully they'll let you out sooner rather than later and you can continue the physical therapy without the stay." Not a fan of hospitals. When he realized that Falco was looking at the care package, Jeremiah slid it onto the bed. "It's for you." Simple enough, really.

"Sounds like she's having a good time but if you'd like her in here, I'll see if I can do something. You're on the first floor and there's a window she can come and go through." Jeremiah meant it, if he could do it he'd do so and throw a little of his influence around to make life easier.

With Falco being a warg, he assumed that being closer - having Hot Lips near him - would likely make him feel some level of better. Especially after what had happened to-

No. Not now.

"Oh?" The gift was forgotten for the moment in light of that. "What brought that on? Do you have a specific one in mind? Rider-Waite does offer some good CJ courses but wasn't where I went myself." He paused a moment, shaking his head. "You'll have to forgive me, it's been awhile since I've known someone your age wanting to look into that."
