So, even though my life is basically in shambles right now, I did manage to land an amazing job as a baker for a casino! emotion_kirakira
Anyway! I owe it all to my chef who put in a good word for me and had total faith I could do it. He's seriously amazing.
So, what jobs does everyone here have? Are you a student? Stay at home mom? What do you consider your job? emotion_kirakira

I work replenishment at Michaels.
I also do all the yard work at my house (I rent from my mom, and
get money off of my rent to work around the place), and much
of the inside work.
I'm hoping to go back to school this fall, but I also want to move
next year back out East.

I'm emotionally and mentally unable to handle full time. That's depressing. The jobs I go for have to be a certain fit. I can't go for just any job. ninja
I worked as a Lunch Aide in a preschool for underprivileged families. A lot of cute memories from that one. A parent shocked me in the way she treated her child. I was eventually told the child's backstory and it floored me. I was horrified by this woman's treatment.
Another child had metal teeth at age 4!!!! He and I had a few good screaming matches. I even wondered if I should call child services myself.
It just was jaw dropping. Of course, a lot of the parents were great and just wanted a good place for their kid.
But otherwise, no jobs.

As for me, I am an admin freak. I have been a fashion advisor in the past for an east coast surf shop, but I love filing and verifying documents more. I have some physical disabilities so I can't stand for long periods of time, so it's hard finding a job whilst in school that is part-time and sitting.
I'm almost done with my degree though so not too bad.

I'm going to school for Massage Therapy, and I'm hoping to start my own business right after I graduate in September. It's pretty intimidating and scary, but it's what I want.
Other then that I'm also a hostess for a restaurant that I hate and doesn't even pay enough for the bills. AH~ THE STRUGGLE~
