Whenever Evan got out of the Rift, he seemed to have a great time. It wasn't just being excited to be out of such a dismal environment, at least as far as Sanidine could tell. Evan seemed happy to be out with him, too. Free to run around and get into trouble—even if he didn’t know what he was getting into.

Sanidine had been exhausted trying to keep up with him and he wondered where the fluffy little youma got all of his energy. Sanidine felt like someone had drained him, but it was exhausting to try and live his life and try to figure out how to fix Evan.

So far, he didn't have any leads—but he was out tonight, hoping to change that. Being in a bad attitude probably wasn't helping, but even just hanging with Evan relieved him somewhat.

Until the youma totally disappeared out of his line of vision.

Evan usually stayed very close to Sanidine, afraid of losing sight of him, but it seemed like the more time he spent in the Rift, the less cautious and aware of his environment he was. He liked to run, and jump and play.

So he did—and forgot that he was afraid of the dark, and of the monsters and bad things that lurked there.

The youma was small, and humanoid; he had long black ears atop his head, and a tiny, fluffy tail that barely stuck out at all compared to the black fur he sported. His eyes were large and golden, and he scampered quickly—right around the corner, and right towards a senshi. He was going too quickly to stop himself and immediately began flailing, trying to change direction, but his momentum kept pulling him towards her.

Even though the seasons had passed into the gentle June months Antares still felt the chill of winter. She had been feeling cold ever since January when she had a momentary lapse of judgment and thought she saw someone she shouldn’t have. Someone she couldn’t have. But still she couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched, of being followed, and that postcard. That proved it, at least somewhat. The problem was that it came and it went, not every day or even every month but there were times, days, when the young blond senshi could have, would have, sworn that someone was keeping her every move under watch. It couldn’t be proven and she wasn’t about to toss anyone else into this mess. This, all of this, made her antsy… a bit more prickly than usual not that anyone would really be able to tell. It would be like showing someone a cactus and saying there are a few more spines on this one then there was last week. Unless you knew her well, and few if any did, no one would be able to see the worry in her eyes or the fear in her stance.

To hide both Antares took to roaming the streets more, going further, going higher. Sticking to the shadows and observing from the rooftops. Hiding from prying eyes with the darkness and a black sweatshirt, a precaution that even on this early June night wasn’t really needed. Actually it was probably a detriment since it was rather warm beneath the sweatshirt, to relieve some of that she had it unzipped. It still hid her rather garish, skin revealing, uniform, but it wasn't as sweltering as it was with the jacket zipped closed.

That's how she was when she stumbled upon the current situation; annoyed, a bit warm, and looking for a fight to be honest. She nearly passed the aura of the senshi, nearly, but something had her going closer until she was able to glance down from her perch on the roof of the nearest building. What she saw had her shout out, “Are you stupid or something?” Some first grade, Antares didn’t equate her own level as still being first ‘grade’ as she thought of it right then, senshi was standing at ease in front of a youma. A <********> youma. Standing there like she was standing in front of a pet. A freaking pet damn it.

Pasithee looked up at the yell. Another Egyptian type senshi woman stood up top a building. Pasithee looked at the cute little guy, but the poor little thing seemed to be transforming into a monster already and worse, there seemed to be a powerful chaotic signal coming towards them. "It's too bad youma, I was going to be kind, but now that you're attacking, all I can do now is to protect."

She jumped away unto a upper ledge of a building and waited patiently, watching for the attack.

Confusion had registered on Evan’s face as the Senshi said something about attacking but if he understood it wasn’t clear. He was still tense, prepared to be attacked himself, when Sanidine appeared.

“Evan,” The Captain called, but his attention on the youma was short-lived. He was too aware of the energy signatures of Order Senshi to focus on scolding the youma.

One Senshi was descending, for whatever reason, and the man glowered. His sword appeared in his hand instantly and he moved to stand between her and the youma. “Delay?” he challenged. “What the hell are you going to delay me from? Is there something interesting going on around here that I should care about?”

He was on edge, restless, and apparently agitated enough that it was hard not to just teleport up to the Senshi and push her off.

The youma didn’t move from his side; instead, he seemed to crouch lower to the ground as he tried to disappear into the shadows.

Not moving any further down, there were benefits to having the high ground, Antares just sneered at the captain who had joined the party. “Nothing more than you and your dust bunny showing up. Now go toddle off to whatever hole you climbed out of.” She crossed her arms and stood there like the guard she was trying to be; unconsciously echoing the negaverses action in standing between him and the other girl the way he stood between them and his youma. Her irrer grew even more when the girl insisted on staying to fight. They weren’t even fighting yet and like hell was Antares going to let some child fight when she was there to do the heavy lifting.

“No! You will get the hell out of here like I said before!” She snapped at the other girl, her gaze briefly leaving the chaotic duo to glance at the other senshi. “You're the one who wanted to pet the youma like it was a freaking bunny that you could cuddle. I don’t care if it looks like a fluffy gremlin you don’t ******** touch it!” Antares wasn’t the kindest person to begin with, add in the stress from her civilian life and the general annoyance she felt at the half wit of a senshi, her caustic tongue lashed at anyone near by.

She wanted to fight. She wanted to feel the sting of her knuckles striking flesh. Drawing blood from her opponent in a fair display of skills but she wasn’t her damn father. She couldn’t be the first to step up to the line. She wouldn’t be the aggressor. It completely skipped past her understanding that her words themself were aggressive, and could even be construed as bullying. She would feel horrible if she actually realized this since the one thing Antares hatted more then her father were bullies. She sure as s**t didn’t want to be one.

Dria shook her head. These two had lost it - not fight evil? As Sailor Scouts it was their duty, no their honor. She ignored the other sailor and without warning attempted to body slam the Captain, spreading her Fragrance at the same time:
