They had been in Belrad for a little while, more than enough time for Anadii to have rested up and gotten its systems in working order again. Administrator Tri seemed to be recovering alright, which made it think they were going to be leaving soon... but apparently both Tri and Ree had someone to meet in this city. Anadii had never been here before- at least... It didn't think it had. Something kept tugging at it that maybe it had been here before- maybe it had been many places before...
Despite the down time, it still hadn't accessed its files from Haven. Something kept making it stop- not a code, or implanted command... just a feeling. It hadn't been able to figure out what it was, though, and didn't know enough about how to describe it to ask Ree or Tri to perhaps put a name to it.
Maybe this person they said was going to watch him would know. He had looked into Mara Gold's file back in Khares, but still wasn't entirely sure what to expect. She was registered as Tri and Ree's mother, so that meant they were siblings? Tri must be the elder brother.
It stirred itself from its thoughts - it wanted to be alert when she arrived. Undoubtedly, if she was the true person in charge, they would likely be placing it in her possession.

Baby sitting....she was called in to babysit some meta they kidnapped from Teldhet ...well -that- explains the insistent calls she kept getting from that company. Sh** they were worse than Norcrest and Criel, luckily the whole transfer thing with Belrad was making hard to actually transfer files Doot de do. Not thinking about Melody and the rest either....brain shut down, flower!.
Pulling out the card slide she had found conveniently between two seats she knocked once and used it to open the door, ignoring the do not disturb sign. Pausing at the threshold she knocked agains at the edge of the frame. "Hello, knock knock" glancing around for the meta before locking herself in with them.

A knocking at the door.. That meant someone was coming in. It had grown so used to people just coming and going as they pleased that the knocking seemed strange. It rose to its feet, straightening out the cloth that covered its housing unit. It then moved to the entryway, glowing eyes locking on Mara as soon as she was in sight. She had... unusual eyes for a human, but her file did say she was one. It wasn't one to judge, anyway.
"Hello. I am Anadii." It spoke in its usual even, robotic tone, though since Mara was not currently a registered administrator it left off the 'your personal computer' tidbit of its usual greeting. "Administrators Tri and Ree are not currently present."

Well a glowing circuit board was not what she was expecting...actually she knew quite a few computer companies who would love to have ..him? for their mascot. Giving him a quick look over and pegging him as nearly harmless, she focused back on the glowing eyes and smirked faintly. "Hello Anadii " she said with a nod, nice name. "I'm Mara ...but I think you knew that already" she smirked again and went inside closing the door behind her with a sigh and pulling off her baseball cap after working it around the ponytail she gave herself.
"Administrator Tri and Ree...that's going to give them a big head. " she said with a sigh as she looked toward him again. "You do know they sent me to keep an eye on you until they come back right? " she explained, wondering why really, unless Tri hoped she might be able to take him with her somehow.

"Yes, I was made aware that you would come while they were away." It nodded, then shuffled backwards as she approached to give her room to actually enter the hotel room. It moved to stand by one of the beds, just... staring at her. It wasn't like it really had anything to do - probably the first time in its life that it hadn't really had some sort of task. Teldhet didn't operate in Belrad at all, there was no need to be keeping as close a watch as it had been in Aldas.
"I do not understand what you mean. Their heads have not enlarged while I have been in their presence." It tilted its head slightly, blinking a couple of times. "Is there anything I may assist you with?" It might as well ask for a task since she was there... Something, anything to occupy itself with.

"......you talk almost like Hexxis...but worse" she narrowed her eyes at him then shook her head in amusement. "Not a literal large head...I meant make their egos bigger. " she held out her hands while watching him then shook her head.
"Never mind. So...you're Teldhet's little gold mine...tech based powers right? How has running with fugitive been? " She smiled but there lacked any sort of humor in her gaze, she was worried...Tri sounded strange when she talked to him last even if their talks have been few and in between. Still he passed along enough data for her to be concern, at least they won't be stupidly hunting for Hexxis any more.

"I am not familiar with "Hexxis," though Administrator Ree did ask me to access Haven files under that name." It wasn't really sure who Hexxis was, just that she was a patient at that facility and that Ree had at least a decent amount of interest in finding her. "I see. A metaphorical enlargement of the head." It's eyes flickered a little as it made mental notes - figures of speech were not something it was used to at all...
"Yes, I am a computer. I was previously registered to several Teldhet administrators, however since acquiring me administrator Tri has had their profiles erased. I do not belong to them according to my system files." It almost frowned at the question - how was it supposed to answer? It averted its gaze for a moment - down at its legs that had literally given out a few days prior...
"I believe the word is "exhausting." I am not built for this much movement."

Mara chuckled evilly. "Sure you were. You just need to move around and gain some muscle. Which unfortunatly you don't have the time to get other than on the move" she muttered and moved to sit down on the edge of the bed with a sigh putting the cap in her lap. "Haven files....yes I was told about that but first I wanted to ask you a few things. How have they been treating you? Do you want to stay with them? ...what do you want to do?"

"Muscle is for organi--" It stopped mid-word, blinking... It was organic, wasn't it? It needed to get that put into long term memory... "I suppose you are correct." It nodded slightly, watching her settle onto the bed. Her questions perplexed it- or rather, the first one did. Why did she care how they were treating it? No one had before in the past. "I do not understand your question. Define "treating," please." It shifted its weight from one leg to the other, considering the other question...
Talk of wanting things had been coming up a lot. Computers didn't want things... but organics did. It recalled its last few hours with Teldhet, markings flickering briefly to a deeper blue before returning to their minty jade. "I do not wish to return to Teldhet. I will stay with my administrators as long as they have use for me. It is not my place to leave before I am dismissed."

Mara let out a deep sigh "Treating is uh.... " she blanked and lightly bounced on the bed thinking. ".....lets skip that right now " she shook her head and stopped bouncing.
" So translating that ..you want to stay with Tri and Ree? Do you understand what it means to stay with them...or even what they are doing? " she motioned to the room, not even sure how they managed to get a room considering they were all pretty obvious. Actually..she didn't even know what they were doing now that they found Hexxis again...after Tri's near suicide in SIU Norcrest things have been kept very brief but there were things that happen that she knew he was not telling her.

Did it want to stay specifically with them, or just away from Teldhet? It paused, thinking... Both were... gentler than its previous administrators had been. For one, neither of them had struck its housing unit in frustration, or raised their voices at it. This was probably the best arrangement it had aside from the constantly being on the run aspect of it. "I know that continuing to assist them labels me as stolen property, though because I am organic and not the computer I thought that I was it likely places me on the same level as they are..." It paused, slowing down a little...
"I do not know what it is they are doing, it is not my place to ask. I simply do not wish to return to Teldhet. Or, specifically, the situation that I was in with Teldhet." It shook its head. No, it really didn't want to do that. If Ree's definition of "like" and "do not like" were any indicators, it really did not like being with Teldhet... "If that means that eventually I am retired from use by Administrators Tri and Ree that is acceptable, so long as my new situation does not reflect the one that I was in previously. But now that I am my own administrator, I do not think it would."

"Well then..." She stared at him quietly and then sigh. "I can't do much either even so I think Tri was hoping I would. If you weren't wanted by Teldhet I could have pulled you into SIU... Even any other place I have in mind is asking for trouble if they take you in. " she crossed her arm looking thoughtful.
"So..I guess you are in the best company. Especially now that they aren't running around trying to look for someone, they will be more careful how they move " she shook her head angrily, Parley made them lose so much and they barely had anything to do with it. She lost Tri and Ree...Tri still had a chance now but Ree? Then SIU change and the people they lost and even what was left of her own reputation went poof. Such an utter mess, next time she sees Zaku she is making sure to pop hm a couple of times. No more EE members on her team..alive nor dead.
"However, you should start asking. Your part of their little group now, you should know if they are doing a suicide run for Starbucks or something..." She smirked glancing around, coffee would be good about now but it was to late if she actually wanted to sleep at all for the rest of the night. "So your goal is basically not to return to Teldhet, gottcha. Their goal is to find Tri's adopted daughter..Hexxis Luz, which is where they went right now. Tri and Hexxis are both stolen property wanted by me..or technically my company. I guess after tonight they will have a new goal and I suggest that you pitch your views in, computer or not. Throw a 404 warning at them or something if they do something stupid" she narrowed her eyes at Anadii. "Your more logical ....I think.."

Anadii blinked, listening to her explain. It wasn't entirely sure why she couldn't do anything about... Whatever it was she was referring to. Since it was organic, it didn't HAVE to return to Teldhet if it didn't want to... Right? Last it knew, slavery was illegal.
"I do not understand. If I am organic as my medical files state me to be, I do not have to return to them if I do not want to. That is the free will given to all organics of higher intelligence." It tilted it's head, an actual frown starting to form on its face. What was so different here?
"Administrator Tri is organic and therefore cannot be labeled as ' property', I am not following what you are saying. I am aware they are both wanted by legal authorities, but that does not make an organic person ' property '." the frown deepened as its confusion grew. This was not Right.

She glanced at the teen? He looked old enough to be a teen at least. "Likely your whole life right? In a fair world we will all have rights... but right now metas don't. Because of that yes...you could be considered property, slaves, pets, or just normal people. The last one is the most common until someone wants something...or wants to deny you something that they normally couldn't do with the other species. Except in Belosh, meta's have rights there like anyone else" as if the idea suddenly dawn on her"that might be a good place for you to escape Teldhet" .

So it was organic, but was considered less than a person on account of its race. It blinked, frown settling into place on its features. "I have been registered as part of Teldhet since before I got my new housing unit, yes." It honestly couldn't remember anything but the previous one- the "child" stage, as ti was called. Was it ever a toddler? Metas had five stages, didn't they?
Look at the memories.
It glanced away, mind processing several thoughts at once - but the first and foremost one was that this was wrong.
"You are suggesting that I should relocate to Belosh?" It turned its attention back to Mara. It had never been there- nor did it know much about Belosh... It could research it, it supposed... "If it will prevent me from returning there, then I will do so."
