For being such a quiet little hamlet, Blume Town's streets are usually buzzing with plenty of energy. The healthy men and women that call this place home are frequently out and about for some reason or another, making the place lively and fun. Various shops and restaurants can be found here, including Madam Valerie's Tea Shop, the local Poké Mart and, for those looking for some extra cash, The Job Request Center. Sweetstone Park and Blume Town Beach are both just a short walk away, so be sure to take your time and have fun!

"Thehumanmindislikeaparachute...
Regal's extensive education had bestowed the young man with a wide range of skills for someone his age. His knowledge of science, mathematics and computer sciences would baffle most adults, who still didn't believe him when he told them that his Porygon, Jarvis, had been made by his own hands when he was just sixteen. He was well versed in the arts, being capable of both playing beautiful music as well as dancing to it. He had also been taught the art of self defence, and was even an accomplished fencer. What he HADN'T been taught though, was how to find work.
"How on earth does someone go about selecting a job?" He pondered out loud as he looked over the job listings. "Do they just grab one and hope for the best?" Regal had the sneaking suspicion that Jarvis was rolling his eyes at him from inside his Pokéball, but chose not to say anything about it. At least his new Charmander was being supportive. After some thought, he had given his new partner the nickname Nova, which he seemed to like. Right now Nova was outside of his ball, helping Regal pick a job.
In exchange for his help in setting Regal up for his adventure, Professor Hawthorn had asked him to look after one of the Pokémon eggs he was studying. Apparently they had a better chance of hatching when around active Pokémon. Thankfully Jarvis didn't eat, but now that Regal would soon have at least three mouths to feed, he had decided that looking for some work was the best place to start his journey. You couldn't travel without money, after all.
After some deliberating, Regal and Nova decided on a small job posting from the local tea house. He was somewhat familiar with kitchens, so the trainer felt it was a good fit. The pay wasn't much, but he figured the experience would make up for it. Everyone has to start somewhere.
Laram scratched his head as he scanned what looked like a notice board. There was a lot of information, which made him glad his teachers at the orphanage were so adamant that he learned how to read. It looked like there were a couple of requests beyond the ones he stumbled upon by accident."Hmm. There's some tea shop requesting help. Pass. Some guy needs help fixing his fishing net? We could do that."It was simple enough, he had worked with nets before. The Hoenn Region had a very large amount of water; there were plenty of fisherman who were looking for cheap labor. Plenty of them had him clean their nets. The experience had taught him a lot about them. Laram shuffled his pack onto the ground and opened the top flap. Even with all the commotion, the egg was nestled securely with no signs of damage. He breathed a sigh of relief and checked his supplies. They were almost non-existent. While he was packing the shop shelves he had noticed the items it was selling. He happened to read what some of them did and they didn't seem all that important. Potions were useless when the hospitals healed a trainer's Pokemon for free.Huh. That's a weird feeling. I'm a trainer.
Laram had never been a "trainer" before. Street urchins don't tend to try to have more mouths to feed than their own. It worried him because he had no idea how much Froakie needed to eat. He and Zeus always managed to scrape by, but they understood that food was scarce and should be hoarded whenever possible. He eyed the food in his pack with dismay. They probably had about another two days worth of food with Shadow around. Plus, they had practically no water. Laram scratched his head again. He hadn't spent any of the 2,000 yet, but it looked like it was going to have to go for provisions. He whistled Zeus out of the sky and the eaglet perched on his shoulder as he grabbed out their day's food. "Zeus, this is your's, Shadow, your's, and this is mine."The new trainer and the Rufflet immediately started chewing on the jerky he had pulled out of the pack, while the Froakie eyed the piece of meat gingerly. Laram shrugged at the frog when it looked up at him quizzically, and continued munching on his piece. After sniffing it, the Pokemon took a small bite before his eyes lit up and he swallowed the rest whole. Laram laughed and knelt down to his new partner."That's all we have for today bud. Should have ate a little slower. But that's alright. Now we gotta go make a living."Laram waited for Zeus to finish his jerky before motioning for him to take the skies once more. He already knew where he was going. He had arrived in Kimchi from the same place.

Now that Regal and his team were all finished with their morning practise, it was time to get back to work. He wanted a decent amount of money in his pocket before moving on to the next town, and that meant doing more jobs. He couldn't stay in Blume Town forever, after all. There were too many things he wanted to experience to sit around a single town all week.
"Hm. This one looks good." It seemed some elderly fisherman needed a helping hand with repairing his fishing nets. The job seemed simple enough, and it paid surprisingly well to boot. It looked like Madam Valerie was also in need of more help at the tea shop as well. The day was still young though, so Regal decided to start with the fisherman's request first before tackling the other one. Maybe if he finished quick enough, he could try some fishing of his own before heading over to the tea house.
Yukiko was eager to explore Blume Town since it was such a beautiful day, but decided to make the prudent decision of stopping by the local Job Request Center first to see about making a little easy money. She had a little money leftover from the savings she had used to finance this little adventure, but the girl knew that she would have to work while travelling the region if she didn't want to go hungry. Angelica and Jasmine were outside of their balls, with the Chikorita walking and enjoying the sunlight while her Eevee was perched on her favorite spot on her trainers shoulder.
"Hmm... The tea shop seems promising." Yukiko murmured while scanning the available jobs. "I know how to cook, clean and prepare tea at least."
In addition to needing extra hands, the tea shop had also posted up a request for some ingredients from the local route. It seemed easy enough, and the pay was good, too. It was also the only route out of the town, which meant that she would need to pass through it in the near future anyway to reach the next place on the map. It made sense to scout it out early for the future trip. With her decision made, Yukiko took the job flier and the trio began to make their way out of the town. The day was still young, so she figured that they would get some work done and then enjoy a relaxing evening. Maybe they could buy some snacks and watch the sunset on the beach later...

"What's a Wimpod?" Quill looked at the man in front of him quizzically. His Dewpider cowered behind his leg, and his new Chespin followed suit. He practically felt assaulted by his shoulder shaking and rambling about something called a wimpod. "Pesky little critters, the lot of them. They ought to be wiped out as far as I'm concerned. But this town's too soft if you ask me. Here." The strange man shoved a bag with a lot of Pokeballs into Quill's arms and walked away. As he left, he was mumbling something, but the trainer couldn't make it out. "What the...Just how many are in here?" Quill started counting, and by the time he was finished, he had accounted for thirty Pokeballs. "Okay seriously, do either of you have any clue what's going on?" His Pokemon both shrugged, very similar to their trainer. It seemed like everyone in this region just expected people to know what was going on. At a loss for words, the trainer simply shrugged back and adjusted the new bag on his shoulder. He didn't really have anything that a trainer needed. He had simply decided to go somewhere new to get away from his old life. He wanted to put a few miles on his soul before settling down. "Right. Maybe someone around here knows what this is all about. Come on."
The trainer asked around for another half an hour, but there was no one that was willing to give him an answer. He and his team wandered so much they passed a tea shop, and a little park with something in the middle of it. Quill noted all the locations in his head, but the trainer was well aware how awful he was with directions. Going around in circles, he managed to even pass the lab again, but he dared not knock. The commotion of that place was just a bit too much for twice in one day. No, he needed someone to give him the lay of the land, and possibly show him how things worked in the Kimchi Region. "Maybe there's some sort of tourist pamphlet back close to the boat?" Quill gave his normal shrug to his team, and they responded in kind. Then the three of them headed back towards the beach.

Finding a restaurant, Sam sat with the twins, looking over the menu. He had taken the money for his college to finance the nessesities of this trip-not like he was going to use it now. But he still wanted to spend as little as possible. A big chunk of that had just gone into the ticket to Kimchi. And not having active income made him anxious. Looking over the menu he ordered rice and fish for himself and tamagoyaki for both the twins. He got himself some lychee tea unable to not get something sweet. He was surprised that Leo didnt ask for dango but then the new pokemon excitement could only last for so long. Both twins had become despodent at times because of the death of their parents. While some times they would act like they used to they often had fits of melancholy still and became withdrawn-not that Sam blamed them, not like he couldnt relate. "Alright, lets eat" the boy said to his siblings, digging into his own food so the twins would follow. It was on him now to make sure they stayed healthy after all.
The twins dug into their food after a bit for which Sam gave a sigh of relief. As he ate he glanced down at the pokeball with the cat pokemon in it. The plan was of course to challenge the gyms but he had the twins to think about. He needed to secure lodgings, make sure they had a good place to sleep. He needed to make sure he had enough food and supplies for when he did start moving. He needed money. The waitress had said something about there being a job board in town. Maybe hed check that out he mused as he ate his breakfast.
