
After a few sips, or half the bottle later really, Tullio had made his way out of his room and to the living room. "You okay baby boy?" she said, sitting up with a bit of a wobble as she set the glass on the table. He crawled onto her lap and curled up against her. The poor little guy had a nightmare, and so she gently ran her claws through his hair and shushed his fears away as she hummed a little made-up diddly. Soon enough, her little boy was asleep in her arms.
The situation had sobered her up some, so after a little while more of cuddling and humming to him, she was able to take him back to bed and tuck him back in. As she looked down and watched her baby sleep, she felt such a terrible want to have another. Her eyes swept across the room and looked upon each of her children. Oh how she needed more of these precious critters in her life.
