Sorry for my absence. I got a promotion, finally got her trained up and sis had an emergency. She's in the hospital still.

Is everyone else ok?

Just be praying big time. She's been in the hospital for about 4 weeks. I spoke with her last night and she said it was ok to let you all know what happened. She had a massive stroke. Her boyfriend was able to get 911 out to get her to the hospital. She's been undergoing therapy. She has lost the use of her right side (she's right hand dominant). She's trying to learn to function with less than optimal use of that right hand. She also has to learn to walk again.

While we are not 100% sure what caused the stroke, it could be related to her accident earlier in the year where she got the concussion.

All prayers are coveted at this time.

After being at work all day, I'm off for 3 days! Woohoo!

Dear lord it seem the theme of December is strokes. Had 2 Co workers go out when both had them at work. And now our angle too. I been filling in for one and pretty much working 12 to 16 shifts. Money nice but it a killer.


Tell Angle to stop picking fights with her o2 tanks and get better. And tell her boyfriend thank you for he speedy call to 911.

I spoke to her boyfriend back when it happened and thanked him profusely. I have also told her, many times to not pick fights with the o2 tanks because they will always win!

Teenager survived and graduated this past June. Her sister is now in high school. We moved from that area and found a WONDERFUL school system in our new town smile
