He needed disguises....and sadly his favorite suit stood out like a beautifully pin-striped sore didget. The thought pained him more than he would ever admit.....he hated thinking trolls would look at him and not wonder 'Who is that gorgeous, stylish gentleman?'. He heaved a heavy sigh as he carded through the racks of clothing, pulling out the occasional garb to measure against his own torso or legs. Jeans. He made a face at the thought. It wasn't something he typically wore....but his current pair of straight-leg were tasteful....plus he'd moticed not many other trolls wore articles of clothing that required a crisp iron....and unfortnately most of his clothing DID. Or at least from HIS perspective they deserved no less to look their best.

There were a few items Miache found, steely cable knit sweaters, plain black v-neck shirts, vests, undershirts...more than a few of which he tried on (Which Eri will have to skulk around his profile to see the few I've picked out thus far) as well as an even more dapper suit than his norm......BUT HE COULDN'T RESIST! What would he do if he was at a fancy dress party and he was WITHOUT a classy suit? He would look a right FOOL in his darkwash jeans! He might as well show up in....UGH! SWEATS! He cringed at the idea....and at the pair he held out from the rack in distaste. A crime to society really! Sweats....more like give-up-on-life-pants! Miache found his way to the dressing room, trying every outfit on and giving it a model before the 360 mirror, checking the fit would be perfect as well as the appearance. He would never be caught DEAD in a baggy hoody or something painfully PLAIN. A cringe found its way once more to his face as he thought of Kei and her.....incredibly BORING attire. At least she let him fix it....for now.

With his bag of purchased (and VERY neatly folded) clothing slung over an arm, Miache left the store. He still had some time before the sun came up, and such a busy area it would be hard for any royalist supporters to spot him....if they recognized him that was. Miache glanced both ways out the store before finally settling. Maybe he'd grab a coffee before making his way back to that....apalling swamp. Enjoy the little bit of civilzed culture while he could.

How many dresses could a young refined troll own? Eridia was out on her usual shopping hunt, getting the most limited, expensive clothes, shoes, and accessories she could find. Her dones carried all of her stuff and she looked for any shops left to shop. While Eridia enjoyed getting new things each night, she was also here to observe, as always, and give herself some bits of eye candy-- both figurative and literally. The teen began window shopping as she consumed her bits of sugar and artificial flavors when she saw something interesting. It wasn't the clothes that had taken her attention so abruptly but a troll. A blueblood. Now in situations like these, she starts to feel love and not disgust with the color. And wow how she was drawn to them. Just like in the movies and sim games she played she felt, and of course, her obsession of this new troll was born. Quickly she took her small notes and grabbed a fountain pen from her purse-- and started a new journal entry. Once she added tonight's date and time, she proceeded to watch.

"Mmm... Well, what do we have here?" She said as her face pressed against the shop's glass. "Who is that gorgeous, stylish gentleman?" A stalker smile made its way to her lips as he watched his every movement. It was nice to see he was picking decentwear rather than trash usually labeled as clothes. Eridia felt a twinge in her bloodpusher when he grabbed a pair of jeans. Oh my Gog. Just what do you think you are doing! She thought.

"Put that down. oh my. PUT. THAT. DOWN. UGH, WHY MUST LIFE BE SO CRUEL? Damaging sophistication with-- with jeans!" She gasped, whined and made a scene behind the glass. Good thing she could afford to be so silly at times. She once again pressed her face on the glass, resuming her observation. "No, nononono. That won't do, TOO UGLY. Oh my, do pick out that v-neck for me! DO IT. NO WAIT, NO, MORE JEANS! PLEASE I BEG OF YOU." Eridia whispered. "Oh look! Sweaters!! Take that one!! NOT THAT ONE, THE CABLE KNIT ONE! oh whew, he took the cute one. This is so intense.. wait... WHERE ARE YOU GOING? DON'T LEAAAAVE!"

When the gorgeous stranger was out of her sight, she stepped away from the glass, fixed her dress and headed inside to watch him closer while pretending to shop. The lavenderblood watched him pick up sweatpants through the racks and she mentally screamed. Thankfully he left that ugly thing where it was. She got closer and closer and closer until.. he headed straight towards the dressing rooms. Oh my gog...

Part of her wanted to grab the first thing she found and head straight inside the dressing room next door but she grabbed a pair of pants, so that was a no. Instead, she watched him model his outfit whenever he approached the mirror. Such show she was watching, such dazzling show! Once he proceeded to pay what he had bought. Eridia casually walked out and followed him at a safe distance. She just HAD to talk to him, or else she would never smile again nor find him. The lavenderblood also wanted to see if all the things that happened in sappy novels were, in fact, reliable.

So the sophisticated purpleblood did what any lady would do-- get their attention in the most alluring way. First Eridia put away her pen and notes before ravenously, if not voraciously, searched through her purse. She took out her compact mirror and lipstick to reapply some dim ashen shade to her lips and later searched for her perfume and sprayed it on her. A little lavender scent dancing around her never hurt anyone.

After putting those away, she took her second best troll-attracting weapon-- a very sophisticated handkerchief, and picked up the pace slightly. Not too fast, but not too slow. Once he was seemed to stop his tracks, Eridia subtly threw it at his feet and prepared to act as if she had dropped it.

A classic and refined move.

WELL now! That certainly wasn't something you saw every day. As Miache paused to think on his next stop he watched the highblood whisk her way by. His interest piqued. Classy....simple colour scheme yet tasteful, small pattern with nothing overbearing, excellent posture....and that hair! It reminded him of Kei's hair if she could actually tame the beast! Such styled ringlets and graceful curls! Yes, it was certainly easy to appreciate the aesthetics of such a troll he had to admit.

As he was about to step off and move along, his body moved almost before his brain, seeing something fall and swooping to catch it before it could be sullied. He made a face of disdain as he missed, not quick enough to catch it properly. CURSES! What kind of gentleman was he! He hissed his own displeasure as he straightened out, eyeing the fabric for any possible dirt. He was almost remiss to return it after it was soiled....but one could never guess how a lady would react to missing property. Of course he knew full well his lusus would scold him quite soundly if he didn't return it immidiately.

"I beg your pardon," he said, barey behind her as he stepped towards the highblood. "I believe this is yours," gloved hands offered out the cloth, eyes still latched to it almost accusingly. Ugh...he knew what was proper. "My apologies if I sound forward," he began, immidiately pulling out a second handkerchief, this one ashen with a solid border of his blood colour and his symbol embroidered in a corner, "May I offer a clean handkerchief as well? I would simply HATE to think you using one that has touched the ground before it has a chance of being cleaned."

As she heard his voice, her muscled tensed for a bit. Smoothly Eridia looked at the blueblood and smiled. He was forward, she liked that. Always find a troll who's direct with you on your first meeting. The lavenderblood's eyes fluttered as she took her handkerchief back and put it inside her purse as she saw he offered his own. With a coy smile, she took it delicately and looked at it with awe. Simple but not too simple-- a classic gent handkerchief. Eridia tried hard not to smell it-- how couldn't she? If there was one thing she learned in life, it was that no one could ever hide their scent. At least that what she thinks it taught her.

"My aren't you so considerate? Mmmm... I really shouldn't accept this but, since you insist..." She chuckled and looked back at the stranger. Part two of her flirt plan-- prove that he's really a gentleman. Only a true sophisticated troll understood the language of handkerchief flirting. So she folded it and later drew it across her lips, so he understood that she wished to speak to make him an acquaintance. "I'm Eridia, Eridia Tsifer and you? It is truly a surprise seeing someone so... dashing around here."

Miache opened his mouth to imidiatly respond, but forced his mouth closed so quickly be bit his own tongue. Right! Don't muck it up you fool! She isn't a rebel....his name might make it back to other trolls he would much rather avoid....and it would be troublesome to cut his shopping trip short and never return to the city. While he hated telling lies it was perhaps in the best interest to keep up the guise he'd taken to while out. "Maiahh Gaahee, nothing short of a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he answered, giving a half bow in proper greeeting. He hated lies...probably why he kept his guise quite close to his true name.

"I couldn't agree more....I find most trolls around town find themselves the slaves of convenience over fashion," he added, narrowing his eyes as a troll walked by in a black hoodie and sweats. His face scrunched in distaste. Then again, the amount of trolls around the swamp with poor fashion....well he couldn't count. They at least had the excuse of being in hiding or not having access to the latest fashions. "What, may I ask, brings you to the city?" he asked. Clearly she was interested in a prolonged greeting...but to what end he wondered? Perhaps she was simply a highblood with too much time on her hands....though....he wouldn't be able to say he was much better himself on that end. But it was hard to shake the concern for exposure, it wasn't safe....not completely, and he knew full well that most highbloods weren't as foolish as himself to follow his friends' into the fire simply to 'protect' them.

"Oh Maiahh, you have no idea..." She pressed the back of her hand daintly on her forehead. "Their sense of fashion... It is truly a shame, but as long those styles and quirks don't adhere to your own..." Her eyes slightly turned from Mia, to the horribly dressed passerby and back to the blueblood as he spoke. Maiahh Gaahee... She pondered, Eridia never hear that name come up in any of her socialite conversations, nor in any of the drones report. The lavenderblood repeated his name on her mind, making her felt as she was pronouncing something fake. Maybe he was someone too deep in the socialite world and was in need of hiding his name? She knew a couple of trolls who did that-- so this was possible.

The teen slowly let her shawl slide down her arms, feeling the cool air caress her shoulders once he asked her a question. "Mmmm, I was just shopping for some gowns and accessories. If you want to look respectable, then you always must spend a few beetles in excellent quality clothing~" She said with a smile. "Would go on about it darling, I am really passionate about this! I will even resume doing so sometime before the sun rises..." Eridia was beginning to feel a bit parched though. With all the screaming she did before she actually approached Maia. So she put his handkerchief over her shoulder. Follow me.

Eridia turned around, walked slowly as she expected him to follow her and said, "I simply enjoy visiting the shopping district each night! Gives you an opportunity to see if you are, indeed, following the latest fashion trends. Oh dear, I do feel a little parched... aren't you? I know a place where they serve good drinks for sophisticated trolls, exclusively." And the environment there is more... private.

She wasn't giving him an option to say no-- no one could ever turn her down and if they did, that would be the last thing they ever did.

He smirked a little at the quaint appeal of her actions. They were....graceful, dainty, femme...not like the more gruff females he tended to be acquainted with....it wasn't without its appeal. "I believe you may have me there," he admitted, spreading his gloved hands, "I grew up in Four Fronds.....not exactly the bustling area as this. More....quiet, relaxing." He missed his hive...but he knew it unsafe. The idea that there were perishables in his hive that would spoil just pained him. If the heat ever died down for the rebels he longed for the day he could strip the place apart for a deep cleaning.

When she turned away he quickly stepped beside her, not ofering a chance for her to step too far ahead and outpace him. "I understand completely. Many trolls settle for such....limited fashion choices, refreshing their look with simply a slightly less grey, or settle for cheaply produced clothing that doesn't hold form properly. If a suit is some artificial fabric it simply isn't worth the time a tailor must endure working with it," he added. He didn't know how they had the patience for it really, it seemed like such an insult to a skilled troll that could work with his hands. "I suppose a gentleman always has an easier time with the latest trends, a good suit will NEVER be out of fashion, though there always seems to be newer designs for dresses. I suppose so long as cut-outs stay OUT of popular appeal I will refrain from having too strong an opinion," he half chuckled at the thought. Realistically he could appreciate any dress style, a thin troll with less curves would look stunning in something tightly fitting, be it with a high neckline or a lowered line, but it seemed like a crime should Eridia wear a high neckline. As well he was sure big, glamorous dresses would suit her regardless of the nuances.

When the highblood suggested drinks he immidiately agreed. He hadn't realized how much he longed for sophistication....something more highclass. He was so fond of lowbloods and how....goofy they were, it was endearing...but he'd never met a lowblood that could appreciate finer things, hell, none even used handerchiefs that he'd noticed. "Yes, that sounds....lovely. Though, It would be a shame for such a classy troll as yourself to not show up without her arm candy, if I may offer," he added, holding out his arm for her. It was in part a jest, callling himself arm candy, though he had a feeling she might appreciate the gesture, both as humour and as the gesture itself.

"Thus is both a Lady's burden and a gift-- to look fabulous each and every waking night. But us a burden we must live with. I certainly can't imagine dressing up... commonly. I simply will not and shall not imagine something so ludicrous!" Eridia chuckled as her dress went to and fro and her hips slightly sideways. The highblood came to a stop as he offered his arm. This troll offered to lock his arm with hers, clearly a smooth move from Maia's part. Mentally she went, yes-- accomplishing this meant she had gotten better at "flirtatiously" interacting with strangers. Another chuckled escape her lips as she got closer to the blueblood. She hooked her arm with his, as he offered, and trailed her fingers on his jaw.

"Oooh! How sweet and appropriate can a young gentleman truly be?" She smiled. "Is this something you do to impress every refined troll upon meeting your gaze, or am I just lucky?" The teen joked as she resumed walking with him. Surely her refined image got even better with this small upgrade but that move she did could potentially make him run away-- as it usually happens with bashful trolls. So she had to say "sorry" even if it wasn't, for her at least, a big deal.

"I apologize for such action Maiahh, I tend to be a bit- demonstrative and high-spirited from time to time." She said as they arrived their destination, a dainty tea shop in the shopping district. Sure she hated apologizing for something small, but in reality, this only made her appear even more coquette. "Ooh we have arrived! Hope you find this place to your liking and that you enjoy your escort."

The highblood let go of his arm for a second and said, "After you darling." Expecting him to refuse.

After all, she was the Lady!

He flinched slightly at the bare contact, but it hid well with the movement of their walking. She was clean....highbloods usually were....and she certainly took pride in her appearance, no doubt in her hygene as well. He relaxed at the thought. His mysophobia got the better of him at times....but after staying in the swamp he was certainly handling it better. There had been more than a few times in the swamp he'd blacked out and gone catatonic.....it really was frustrating when he realized he'd done it. Apparently after his capture it had happened....but his memory was always fuzzy when it did. All he remembered was that uncouth demonic little blueblooded BRAT. (*COUGH*chiara*COUGH*)

"Well, much as I would like to say one way or the other, I'm sad to tell you I have met few well-groomed trolls. Many trolls prefer to neglect their manners and dress....a shame really. Though you certainly prove for being pleasant company." Though, he had to admit.....they were both...oddly flirtatious. There weren't many trolls he responded flirtatiously towards....was he simply responding with a graceful wit to her? Or was he genuinely interested? She certainly wasn't his usual type, but in the sasme vain he couldn't deny a certain appeal to such a refined troll. While lowbloods were charming and endearing in their rather....entertaining shenanigans....they weren't often terribly cultured. When she apologized he held up a hand to brush it off, "Not at all," he responded. "I wouldn't hear of the idea of caging a lady's enthused natures." In truth, actually, he thuroughly enjoyed letting others get up to what they may, seeing just what they would get up to if comfortable.

After him? Just who did she take him for? Somehow it felt like she was challenging him, but he was never the sort to back down from that. He nodded and stepped ahead, instead taking hold of the door and holding it open for her, offering her to enter first. "Of course, I wouldn't dream of it otherwise," he answered, smirking slightly at her.

ImaginationsParadise

Was he being humble? Surely Maiahh had to be joking. Usually faces like his attracted plenty, if not, numerous of trolls who'd attempt to court one. That was her case at least. Eridia pushed away that thought away as a lovely smirk slowly appeared on her lips. She was satisfied by his actions, and challenging him a bit just made her obsession grow bigger and stronger. What were the chances he would tell her every single thing about him? Hive address, favorite sports, his daily routine, at what specific time of the night he goes to X amount of places... those were some of the million things she wished to know about him, and Eridia was willing to dig out every single thing out of his thinkpan, one way or another. Obsession always made everything possible, always made her do the impossible.

Of course this was pity at first sight, like the books and several trolls had mentioned. The feeling was nice, of course nothing compared to what Gerard made her feel sweeps ago. The purpleblooded adult made her withheld crazy and desperate and incapable of knowing what she actually felt. Gerard had become her object of adoration once he bestowed upon her a heady, hallucinogenic dose of something the highblood never dared to admit she wanted-- an emotional speedball of thunderous pity and roiling excitement. Soon Eridia started craving that intense attention, with a hungry obsession for any troll. When the drug was withheld, she promptly turned sick, crazy, and depleted.

So this troll... Maia... she wanted to perish with him and go up to him and kiss his mouth and pull him towards her and say "I want you, I need you, I pity you..." while she experienced all those painful emotions that stung her. Do all the things she didn't get to do with the one troll she could never be with. The way he played her game by holding out the door for her just made her enter the shop gracefully. What did it meant to her? Eridia had gotten him. She declared he was hers now. For the rest of the night, week, month, sweep, life. Maiahh Gaahee was hers and if she had to kidnap him, then she might as well do it if required.

"Thank you dear." Eridia chuckled as she twirled part of her shawl and approached the maitre d'. The teen smiled and said, "Hello." Before she asked for the best seats in the shop in the most polite way she could possibly come up with. When the maitre d' lead them to a table, Eridia (being the lady) walked directly behind the maitre d', and expected Miache to follow her. After all, he was supposed to pull the chair out for her once they arrived. Looking around their surroundings and her gaze trailing back at her escort, she smiled.

"Isn't this place adequate for the refined? I always wish to come here, but a decent lady never shows up to places like these on their own."

Miache would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised by her. She seemed to know exactly what she wanted and how to ask for it. Instead of interfering he simply smiled and followed her to the table, bemused. He typically wasn't much for making a scene, asking for the best of anything or bothering to expect it....though....he WAS a fairly high classed blueblood....he always wondered just how different he was from the norm, perhaps she was showing him a little peek of just how far off the mark he was. Somehow....he didn't mind. As a wriggler he'd always been spoiled and bratty, his lusus frequently swatting some sense into him for poor manners....but as he grew up the trolls around him just seemed to be a more....mature sort.

When they stopped Miache scooted around to a seat, pulling it out to offer Eridia, making a gesturing motion in offer. "Charming," he agreed sincerely, "I can see the appeal. Though, showing up for tea alone is neither proper nor.....pleasant. Good company can improve food and drink exponentially," he said.

After waiting for Eridia to sit, Miache took the seat opposite her, smiling thoughtfully across the table. What an interesting troll to find himself having a cup of tea with....well....coffee for him, he was more for a less sweet beverage. And getting a cup in a store certainly was different than his usual on-the-go routine. "So you aren't in here often?" he asked thoughtfully. If she preferred not to be alone, perhaps she'd only been once or twice before.

"I couldn't agree more, though not every night you find someone dashing who agrees to go out for a small drink and a chat with a troll such as myself." In reality, she was almost considered a regular. After all the highblood always found someone interesting to take out for a drink. Yet they always ended up disillusioning her with fake promises and flattery, not that she was any better, which forced Eridia to test them out in this precise tea shop. Just a matter to prove if they were worth the rush. She took her seat after he so kindly and gentlemanly pulled it out and offered it to her.

"No... You see Maiahh, I don't like going to places such as this on my own... I feel as it ruins the shop's lovely environment." Sophisticatedly, she raised her hand and successfully attracted a waiter, who immediately went over them, after taking notice of her hue, and handed both trolls a quaint menu and left after Eridia sweetly motioned them to. "Though I'm hoping to come her more often with someone..." Like yourself. Eridia stopped midway, as if she tried to see if he could finish up her sentence. She tried hard not to order the usual. Instead she pretended to go over the options and occasionally looked at the blueblood and smile back at him.

"Anything appetizing? Everything just seem so delicious here!" She gently laughed and followed the shop's procedures to sophisticatedly get the waiter's attention and waited patiently for them. "Tell me about yourself Maiahh, you mentioned before that you grew up in Four Fronds... I haven't gotten the time to go there for vacationing purposes in... sweeps I believe but it's simply beautiful! Oh how I wish I could spend more time there! Do you enjoy hunting?" Eridia never actually participated before in them, but she hoped to do so eventually.

He smiled faintly. A troll like herself probably met far more proper trolls in the city than he did by the lake or the swamp.....certainly the swamp at least. But he still didn't regret it. "Fair enough," he conceded, nodding his agreement. He couldn't see himself enjoying a teashop alone....truthfully he was more for coffee himself. But he could conform to the shop's designs. It would be poor manners to ask for coffee. She wanted to go more often with someone? Well, he could only hope she find an appropriate companion, if not himself. He smiled again before glancing down at the menu in thought. "I can't claim to be the most educated with teas," he comented thoughtfully, "what would you suggest?"

"Certainly. My lusus desires only the freshest red meats, and a troll raised properly takes only the best care of his lusus." There had been countless times he'd lipped off to his lusus in his youth, or to a highblood, only to recieve a firm swat on the bottom. His lusus would only raise the most proper of trolls....but somehow it seemed acceptable that he decide to side with his friends rather than the empress. It didn't negate any of his proper mannerisms however. "Four Fronds is a lovely, quiant, quiet area....certainly less busy than the city, but not without its own charms. A lovely area for a picnic or walk. At the risk of seeming too presumptuous, I would be pleased to escort you around some day."

ImaginationsParadise

"Oh! I've never gone to a hunt, my lusus believes I have yet to fully master the art of refinery before ever participating in one." Of course Lovedad would kill her if she hunted down trolls without grace, if he didn't she'd go out and hunt frequently. Going out with him for a walk did sound pleasing. Eridia played with her hair now and smiled flirtatiously. "It does sound a bit presumptuous to invite a Lady, such as myself, out..." She said coyly. "Nevertheless I accept your invitation. Being escorted by you does sound pleasant." How could she ever refuse?

Back at their issue at hand, if she could ever consider it an issue, she glanced down at her menu and went over their options. The teen considered herself as someone well-educated on the art of teas-- it wouldn't be hard to recommend Maia something delicious. Eridia never had any specific preferences over one type of teas. She drank almost anything type of teas, from the sweetest to the sourest to the most citric teas. "Oooh well... Let's see..."

"There are just so many sorts of teas Maiahh... simply impossible for me to recommend a perfect blend!" Eridia said admittedly with a small smile, her fingers trailed through the menu. "Hm... I was going to order something sweet..." Then it occurred to her-- the perfect way to dig out every fact about him. Once Eridia read on a magazine how someone's usual cup of tea was connected to someone's personality and likes. "Perhaps we can choose something depending on our qualities and interests! I've heard that's the perfect way to choose a perfect drink!" It was a good thing the waiters were busy, it'd give her enough time to find out how he ticked.

"It may sound ridiculous but it is true! If you want, we could both answer each other questions... if you are up for it. For example, what kind of recreational activities are you interested in? I particularly am interested in outdoor sports like croquet as it's quite a relaxing game." Sure she was being a bit forward, but Eridia couldn't help herself to know!

Miache nodded his agreement. "Your lusus has the right idea. Some beasts can put up quite the fight if you're ill prepared. It helps if you have a sparring partner to better your weapons handling." Even IF they're an annoying orangeblood with a bigger mouth than brain. "If you'll forgive my saying so....but you seem to like your trolls at least a little forward," he smirked, eyeing her in thought. Whenever he'd done something perhaps a little too forward for a first meeting she seemed....not exactly deterred. In fact she seemed...happy? Pleased? Yes...pleased seemed oddly fitting. Maybe she expected that behavior and he lived up to her expectations? Or perhaps the opposite and she was pleasantly surprised.

He paused, thinking of her suggestion and shrugged a little. "Certainly, sounds interesting," he agreed. "Recreation I read a fair amount, I enjoy a healthy tussle here and there....though with this whole REBEL business I find myself unnaturally busy. A rather uncouth mess the whole thing, that last fight seemed more like a brawl than anything proper or sporting..." he sighed, waving a hand at the unpeasant thought. Really, he hessitated to get himself too immersed...but at the same time he was a little tired of blindly following orders that would lead to certain trolls culled. He found himself overly fond of lippy lowbloods or trolls that were simply....broken. He wasn't terribly certain how better to describe them than that. But if joining the rebels meant he could protect those trolls....so be it. He had no asperations of saving the world, but those few he cared about he would hate to see injured.

Miache leaned back, eyes traveling from the menu back to Eridia as he thought possible questions....less in regards to tea though and more personality. That was the goal, right? Tea based on interests? Well...he couldn't deny being a little curious about her himself. "What do you fight for?" he asked after a moment. Surely she fought for the queen....but he had to wonder....why. He'd never been able to answer that himself when he sided with them....even though he didn't entirely believe in their cause....at least it coencided with his own interests. "I, personally, find myself in arms for...others....though I can't say I've ever seen myself as some....fanciful HERO," like SOME foolish orangebloods he knew, "but to those that have endeared themselves to me I will NOT see them fall. And of course the sake of my own pride. I'm not entirely selfless," he said, chuckling at the thought. "Are those the sorts of questions to guage our interests and qualities?"
