He'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious. While he had no intention of living with Lawrence and Lawrence's motley crew, Horace still wanted to see. Living with him - it was funny how unpalatable the idea was now when before, it was all he had ******** wanted. Horace had dreamed of domesticity; the white picket fences, the spacious kitchens, normal stuff. It was just something akin to bitter irony that Melvin got all of that. Or something. He shoved a hand through his hair, almost dislodging the earbuds he wore. Music still blasted from them, something to shorten his walk and distract himself. He kept the music on as he crept closer. Peach Tree Lane. Because of course Lawrence would choose a house here - Horace wondered why it was allowed, but he supposed that as long as everyone operated within normal hunter functionality, the higher-ups didn't give a s**t about anything else. He walked up to the house and tried to peer into a window. Maybe, if no one else was home, they'd left the monolith unlocked. He frowned and leaned closer to the glass, shading his eyes.

Lawrence didn't expect anyone to be near the house and was busily building some of the ikea furniture he'd bought for his room, carefully navigating the instruction manual with vague irritation. It was pure coincidence that the time he chose to take a break from constructing a bedside table was the time that Horace was passing the house. He spotted the other man through the window and hurried over to slide it open.
"Well hello." he purred. "Not going to come in? I can show you your room."

Suddenly, Lawrence appeared and Horace jumped, stumbling over his own feet. Hastily, he pulled his earbuds out. "Uh, um, I didn't think anyone would be home."

Lawrence casually propped his chin up on an elbow on the windowframe. "Kind of like stalking." he said with a friendly grin. "Well I'm here though and it's really nice to see you in the flesh. I miss your flesh. I miss all of you."
He gestured at the room behind him.
"You should come in and see, indulge me."

"Can you stalk a house and not the people inside?" he asked warily. Horace swallowed hard, but ignored the bits about Lawrence missing him and his flesh. Oh good, phrasing it like that in his own head made it seem unappealing. Good, good. He could do this. However, both curiosity and societal nicety said he should do this and more. Horace couldn't refuse. It would be okay, right? "S-sure. Are you done decorating and stuff?" He moved closer to the windowsill and peered around Lawrence. "Oh, I guess I should use the front door, huh."

"Maybe you can." Lawrence said with a smile. "You could choose a more complete one though, this one's a little dilapidated, though getting better." He gestured inside.
"Well, if you can't climb, you can use the front door, absolutely. If you can well.."

"All of 'em are a little dilapidated though, aren't they? Unless they are being lived in. I don't generally take people watching tot he extremes you do, though - think I'll stick to using the old houses for parkour and s**t." Horace looked at the window sill, placing one hand on it. Whether he meant it or not, there was definitely a challenge in Lawrence's words, one Horace was loathe to deny. He didn't really know why and wasn't sure the 'why' of it even mattered. He leaned forward into the window. "Alright, better move." Clumsily, Horace levered himself through the window stumbled forward a bit as he regained his footing. Normally, he'd have been more efficient, but he was feeling out of sorts already. "Gonna give me the grand tour?"

"A bit, that's true." Lawrence conceded, most of the houses were a bit run down on the island. He did smile though at the mention of parkour. "Where's the fun in that? I prefer the chance of being caught, makes it a little more exciting. Granted, I have been through towns now and then at night, when no one else is awake to entertain me."
He stepped daintily aside as he entered the window and made a silent clapping gesture without his other hand to complete the sound. "Impressive." he said with a purr.
"And certainly, if you like. This will be one of the living areas primarily, please excuse the mess, we went to Ikea and much of the furniture is still in the process of being assembled." True to his word, the room was littered with boxes and half assembled items. "But through here are Mikael and Melody's rooms, next door neighbours. Both are living here at present but are out."
He made his way to the kitchen, looking giddy and pleased and gestured at the space. "Room to cook! I am so pleased about this, almost most of all." It was strange to see him excited about anything and there was something almost bird like about the way he flitted from one thing to the next.

"I guess I just prefer not doing things considered invasive," he said lightly, scanning the room. Lawrence's sarcastic comment of 'impressive' was merely met with a wrinkled nose.
It looked like their little trip to ikea had gone well; Horace didn't regret his decision to not attend. "They helping you put it all together? And keeping the kids downstairs, I see." He hadn't thought Melody and Lawrence were so close, but he'd also stopped paying close attention to her when she demanded he make up for some slight. And not told him how to do so. They hadn't been close enough to expect grand gestures so he frankly didn't understand the girl. Oh well.
"Do any of the others cook?"
