If you're a goth what does it mean for you to be goth? do you not label yourself or do you just be yourself?

It's hard to say what it means to me since it has so many places in my heart, I guess I'd have to say that it's about the music and liberating lifestyle that appericiates the darker and weird side of life. It's a culture where you can feel welcome and experiment with style and find the most wonderful music. Goth was started by music and the bands made the styles. Goth is beautiful, fun and comforting. emotion_bigheart

for a long time I referred to myself as goth, I mean I have all the makings of a goth in reality, but it felt too limiting in my opinion so I sort of gave up on the title, I just call myself alternative it kinda covers everything out of the usual, and I wouldn't change that for the world... it feels like there's no other way than being different heart
