You may edit your post, makes it easier to keep your list up to date
If you mess up the number of dice or forget to roll just make a new post and try again (believe me we all do it)
Only one roll a day, all rolls must be in the same post
Sorry no proxys for this game
If you miss a day you won't move forward that day, you can still win so don't give up
Please choose a side (desert or tundra), you can't change sides once you start so pick wisely
The dice game is pre-written and I tried not to favor one twin over the other
In order for your roll to count it must be made between 12:01 AM EST and 8:00 PM EST.
Rolls made between 8:01 PM EST and midnight will not count
Pay attention to the number of D10 dice and if you are moving the largest or the smallest number rolled. PrizesThere is a semi custom saber tooth bobcat prize that will be raffled out to the team with the highest average travel distance
The person who travels the furthest for each side (desert and tundra) wins their sides saber tooth bobcat.
The winner of the winning side gets first choice between the semi custom saber tooth bobcat and their sides twin

DirectionsThey have always been competitive but that's normal for siblings. If one caught a fish for dinner the other had to catch something bigger and better the next day. Their environment was harsh and unforgiving but despite always competing they are always there for each other. Like many twins they are as different as night and day. One as light as warm desert sand and the other as white as fresh snow in winter. Their differences often times helped them. Each used their coat to hide and hunt, Desert does better in the warmer months and blends well into the shadows of the trees. He shares his ketches with Tundra. During the winter months, which are long and hard, Tundra's light coat helps him blend in with the snow and he shares with Desert. Like many fights, after the fact, it's a little unclear how it started. What was normal brotherly bickering ended with a bet, who was faster over a distance. So who could make it to the ocean the quickest. The only rule the decided to create was that neither could race in the dark. Each day starts at dawn and ends at dusk.Tundra thought himself faster, crossing the mountain is hard this time of year. His coat gives him an advantage, he can stay warm and travel farther and faster up and over then his brother can. Desert of course thought himself faster as well. While it was true the mountain this time of year was harsh, winter had not set in below the peak and he had the advantage there. So the bet was made. Roll dice once a day for 7 day to help your bobcat race over the land. Pay attention to the number of D10 dice (to roll at the same time) and if you are moving the largest or the smallest number rolled. ****************** Day 1 - June 16thYou start out in open terrain within sight of each other. Neither twin has any advantages here. You both start off at a sprint, racing the other. Day 2 - June 17thThe open terrain changes to thick brush and as the sun goes down you lost track of your twin. You know he's not far behind or perhaps far ahead. Excited about the race you sleep well and start off first thing in the morning. Day 3 - June 18thAs you walk the brush changes into taller and taller trees. After the sun set you felt for the first time truly alone. The sounds of creatures in the distance, and some not so distant, kept you from sleeping well. Day 4 - June 19thTired from lack of sleep last night you find yourself still in the middle of a forest with no clue how much farther till a clearing. To your surprise it begins to snow before night hits. You find a safe place to sleep and rest extra well to make up for yesterday. In the morning you set out and find you were on the edge of the forest, the opening you come to however is covered in snow and steep. You must be working your way over the mountain now. Day 5 - June 20thYou made it over the mountain and found yourself below the snow level on the other side just before night. The going seems easy in the morning, but going down hill does have it's advantages. Day 6 - June 21stThe land keeps getting lower and lower and the temperature started to get fairly warm midday and cold by the time you went to bed. In the morning you set off again. Sand sifts under your paws. Day 7 - June 22ndThe sand slows you down and the heat of the desert makes moving hard. Low brush starts popping up towards the end of the day. You can smell the ocean as the sun set. To your surprise when you wake you see your twin off in the distance. The race is almost over, you both sprint to the end. The End  Desert and Tundra sprint the last track of land, racing up and over dunes to the ocean. Sand flying everywhere Tundra hits the water first and Desert right behind him. Blood and dirt wash off the twins as they stare at each other. The race was over. And then they hear it, laughing. Turning around they spot a group of female saber tooth bobcats covered in sand laughing their heads off at the sight of them. When they bounded over the last dunes they must have jumped over them. They were so embarrassed that they didn't even see the wave coming….
