About:
Despite being the size of a large Clydesdale and being brightly colored, Cuauhcoatl is a rather nervous, shy individual, not comfortable around strangers, thus making him stutter a lot. He's an extremely gentle personality, and feels what is on the inside is what matters, not the outside.

Cuauhcoatl is an Angeni of Learning.. Literally: His theme is "Learning". However, he has a relatively poor memory about a lot of things, and tends to have to hunt around for them in his head before he can remember them, often times having to relearn it several times before it finally sticking. Because of this, while he dislikes Pure Kalona that behave like their kind and Skinwalkers, he does not believe in judging the sins of the parents on the heads off their children, and will judge such crossbreeds, no matter what their appearance, by their own behavior.

He Really, REALLY hates Kawani Skinwalkers: Not only are they demons from hell, corrupting otherwise good or Neutral soquili, they are a perversion of a fabled ability that, outside of the Kawani lands, is a Neutral ability, often gifted to Hero's, Elders, Chiefs, Shaman and medicine men, and wiping it out to the point he is unsure of it still existing as something that could be used for good. It upsets him greatly, and drives him to try and find a cure.

Partner: Ikinya
Personality: Ikinya is a bundle of qualities in one small package. Firstly, the heart of this mare speaks no bounds. She has a compassion for life, and everyone in it and isn't afraid to let it be known. Her love is strong, and heart large as can be for all of her family and her herd. This love evolves at time, and had allowed her to love a number of children they've adopted like they were her own, even the children of her herdmates often fall under her loving nature - Ikinya is happiest around others and spreading her ideal of kindness and affection. Yet the mare isn't all feely, Ikinya has an inate courage, stemmed from her core desire to protect her ideals. She steps up to any challenge presented to her, and despite her drawbacks at times thanks to her stature and lack of magic will give it her all till she succeeds. A gentle leader of her herd, the mare has the wisdom to know when to take charge and when to simply aid with a gentle nudge in the right direction she takes this role very seriously despite having her rock, Cuauhcoatl beside her to help if ever needed. However, Ikinya often is faced with conflict from her head and her heart; and can often hold a lot of her own needs and desires in and secretive for the good of others - a bit self sacrificing in a way. Often she breaks down privately, but all in all her happiness knows no bounds and she is only mortal - after all.

Limitations: No one Evil, planning on stealing the kids away, someone spooked off by the mixed family and a herd that includes meat eaters, or biggots (some members are asexual, pan, bi, gay, or polyamorous, and size/breed doesn't effect romantic relationships so someone uncomfortable with kids raised in that situation shouldn't apply). They lost one kid due to well intentioned concern when more meat eating Soquili joined and the inability to understand why Cuauhcoatl remained loyal to an Usdia, we dont want it to happen again.

• GIRAFFE SPOTS! -- if Your Mare has Giraffe Spots or something remotely similar (Such as Low contrast Large Leopard spots) we don't even really need to plot unless you want it to be a Canon Surrogation with your girl with her being a friend or even member of Yectenehua.

• If your soquili has unusual traits (Such as having Three toed hooves, Eyes where they shouldn't be, elemental manes, Sumi-E illusionary mutations, etc) chances are Cuauhcoatl, who studies such traits, would be more likely to approach you for a conversation, thus making it more understandable that a friendship would be struck, thus making it canonly more likely to be someone who'd be a surrogate (or have Cuauhcoatl as a donor)

• Ponies surrounded in carnage (torn apart animal bits clearly killed for sport/in rage) -- while Evil LOOKING ponies can still be offered (Big snarly toothy mouths, resting b***h face, Zombie ponies etc), its hard to explain why a good, if omnivorous/carnivorous child, is surrounded in such gruesome waste of life..

Why and How
Having had his first surrogation result in losing a friend and having one of their baskets stolen by said friend, Cuauhcoatl Understand how difficult it can be to find someone who is willing to give without anything expected in return. Far too many get attached to the individual involved, or do so in hopes to take the individual away from their actual mate, or even sometimes just to give them power over the other.

Because of this, with a help of a Midwife Riverotter, Cuauhcoatl has set himself up as a potential sire for couples wishing to have a donor so they can have a child of their own.

Involvement
Cuauhcoatl's involvement with the kids depends on the family -- some pairings may raise them independently, others may seek him out and allow him to help educate their children, and allow him and Ikinya to act as godparents for their children -- close family friends (And baby daddy) that would take care of the children should anything bad happen.. Or they just need a babysitter. He'd only force involvement if he discovers the children are being physically and/or mentally abused, just as he would for any child even unrelated to him.

FAQ
Q: I've heard this a few times and still don't know what it is: What is a Doppelbreeding?
A: A doppelbreeding, a term coming from "Doppelganger Breeding", is a "Non-canon", just for looks sort of breeding. It still counts as a breeding officially, but in the rp universe, the two happened to just breed with ponies of similar genetic backgrounds: Cuauh and Ikinya get a kid, you get a kid, and whomever gets the third if there is one can choose either side or treat them Rp wise as a first generation pony. They still count as a Breeding OOCly, and thus must follow breeding rules and allow for throwbacks, but in RP Canon they are unrelated.

Q: To be honest, I just like how they look, is it possible to have a "For Looks" Pairing without having to deal with making the personalities work between the parents?
A: If its a Doppelbreeding Between Cuauhcoatl and a Mare, it can be easy. For a Canon Breeding Between Cuauhcoatl and a Mare that is just for looks, it can be handled by a trip to a Fertility Center run by a River Otter named Aeval and her apprentices that help with the various stages of reproduction, as well as giving couples therapy and counseling. There, one of the NPC Apprentices could use the... Ah... "Sample".. For a mare there wanting a kid for the sake of having a family could end up with with one of his kid (and neither know who the other one is).

For Ikinya it's up to Tiro, but its either a Doppelbreeding and the kids in the RP universe come from different parents... Or if you want the kids to be canonly born to Ikinya and adopted by Cuauhcoatl and Ikinya, but don't know how to make it work Canonly between her and your stallion, it could be much like how Cuauhcoatl can end up a father without meeting the mare, but rather he donated/sold an Sample and it showed up in the Usdia Vault and since she didn't have anyone lined up


Q: Wait what, "Samples"? Artificial Insemination, what?
A: Talk to me on AIM about it, but lets just say it involves the same common grass and reeds used to make the Breeding baskets, treated the same way to activate its magical storage capabilities, but woven into a totally different shape with two lids and an inner lining that is tied off at the narrower end, and an understanding of antique methods of breeding horses without actually breeding the horses that is still a fairly common practice to this day and we can leave it at that on a Gaia basis: Mostly its not used or mentioned in RP, but its just.. Held in a headcanon backstory without actually posting anywhere since it can bring up issues talking about it directly in a location where someone who hasn't gotten the full story and go way out of the way in the worst way and ruin it for everyone. I've gotten the thumbs up for this much being said, but seriously Dont RP it, just headcanon artificial Insemination for your same sex Land ponies (Its a bit more difficult for fully aquatic ponies (Seathi/Mer) and I haven't quite figured out how to make it work yet, especially for seathi..)
