Including the flowers that budded on the long, dark horns that sprouted from the buck's head. He could have easily found some lovely camouflage, if he was looking for pink flowers - but, no, white, like his lovely lady's pelt. He had taken to the riverside, feeling comfortable with his ability to hunt down the plants.

Fumbling a little gracelessly through the riverbed, his normally pristine legs were soaked through. But this didn't bother the acha - in fact, he had been going between following the grass line and jumping in to the cool waters, enjoying a small game he had started in his own mind.
It had not taken too long for him to find his first small bunch of flowers, three little white beauties bending and dancing in the wind.
Admittedly, the acha may have been taking more time to frolic than search, white flowers now adding to the pink ones in his horns, but he was looking! He promised!
Heck, there was a pair of them right there!

Ah! Two more!
He was starting to form a small bouquet, and at the same time, almost like a scarf of white flowers. It probably looked a little funny to the other kin, but he didn't care, he looked gorgeous.
It had taken about a half hour between findings, which was rather surprising for the acha. They had come so easily, and now he was in a drought. A flower drought.
How sad!
Luckily for him, the clouds parted, and a new pair of beauties showed their faces to him.

Not too far off from his last discovery, a small bouquet of flowers winked softly at him, which brought his flower crown up to a fanciful and full fourteen.
Hearing a small chitter from behind him, Honour was interrupted from his flower gathering. He didn't exactly expect to find anyone else on his prancing around, so the noise was really confusing.
Wandering in to some high grass, the acha came face to face with the tiniest little . . mouse? No, it was a Jerboa! He hadn't seen one in a long time - and heard about the little critters from other achas who had been able to grace the sands that his breed had apparently come from.
"Hello little friend, how can I help you?" He asked nicely, head tilting to the side, the flowers offsetting in his horns, brushing up against his own. The little white creature seemed to follow the dance of the flower. Did it want some? It's pelt seemed to match that of the white flowers in the valley.
Lowering his head, he waited for a few moments, before feeling the creature climb up in to the pile, offsetting a few of the flowers. Looking down at the plants that had dropped, they seemed . . . nibbled on and unusable.
What did not happen though, was the removal of the critter. It seemed to stay in his horns, which made it very hard for the acha to figure out. He couldn't exactly see behind his head.
"Are you staying up there?" He asked, trying to catch a glimpse of the white little familiar. A little content chirp returned, and the weight didn't shift.
He seemed to have collected a friend.

So here he was, continuing on his path, feeling the weight of the jerboa, which chittered contently as they continued, and the (much lighter) weight of the flowers.
"I suppose now we can start to rebuild the crown, hm?" He called up to the familiar, hearing a small chirp in response. Did it even understand achas?
Incidentally, it was a lot easier now that he had a little critter who seemed to be working on placing the flowers that he found, weaving them in the plum-coloured flowers he already had in his horns.
It was so meticulous, and as he watched it pick up another three flowers off the ground, he made a little face. It was very much like Hour, he would have to make the two meet.
"I hope you're not eating any of these new flowers." He quipped lightly, as they came across another pair of white flowers.
He actually needed them!
A small, indignant chirp came back. Had he offended it?

Continuing forward, Honour took a minute to look at the wake that he had left behind him. It wasn't much to speak about - he felt a little guilty about picking so many flowers from the waterside, but they would regrow, again, after the next year, right?
Sighing out of his nose, he continued further - there were no flowers in front of him yet. Did someone else come through already?
