Ophila had no real reason to be outside except that the weather was finally getting warm and she’d been inside for hours. So it was a good time to stretch her legs by going for a walk! Of course, neither the yellowblood nor her lusus were actually walking. Ophila was skipping backwards and Buzzbud was floating after her, facing forward to make sure she didn’t run into anything.
They hadn’t been out for very long when Buzzbud seemed to focus on something behind Ophila. “Hey, Ophie. Slow down?”
“Hmm? Why?” Hearing the concern in his voice, Ophila turned around to see a redblood and her lusus standing right in their path. No, not standing… The troll was
swaying. Something was wrong.
“Are you alright?” the yellowblood called out. Without waiting for an answer, she ran up to them, Buzzbud trailing after.
“Are you alright?” she asked again. Up close, the redblood looked pretty sick. Poor thing! Not knowing what else to do, Ophila took her bag from Buzzbud.
“Um, do you like honey candy? I’ve got lots!”Doutei
