(Back dating to two days before Erebus and Venice personally visited Cadus, which was after the call from Caedus went out.)

He had told Terry that they were going to go to his wonder a while back - too long ago. They hadn’t yet though they had gone up to Erebus, he’d seen alot there and found it very different from his own wonder. He expected them to be different but a village, a river, a big home. He had not been expecting that, he’d been honestly expecting a single place not a whole area. He had thought of wonder as a single place like the ancient lighthouse in Alexandria, or the Eiffel Tower. They were wonders and only one thing - one structure. That’s what he’d been expecting, similar to his own wonder as well.

He had been surprised but also delighted to explore with Terry, to see what the others wonder consisted of. The fact the past Erebus had been a female had also come as a surprise. To think you could have been another gender was a surprise but also fit with things he’d learned. Now could people be reborn as animals - that was the next question to try and find out about one day.

Now wasn’t the time, and he didn’t know anyone who could answer such a question, as he was waiting for Erebus to turn up. Rather than the temple, where he liked to go at times, the page was tucked away in the shadows of several large buildings - warehouses. He had gone to an old run down part of the city that had once been quite industrial from the looks of it; but that time was long gone. The shadows did a good job of hiding his bright uniform and it was far enough away from the bustling parts of Destiny City that he didn’t feel worried about waiting here for Erebus or that he’d arrived early.

Checking on what he’d brought here, using his father's car that was parked inside the warehouse he was hiding in the shadows of, Seung smiled. He had a mattress that had to be unpacked from it’s plastic but it was new and ready to go. He had, stuffed into his duffle bag, two big sheets and a pillow. He really needed more things but that would take time to bring up there, which he was willing to spend of course. There was also food which he had prepared and inside that same food bag which looked like a camera bag and had gotten him into trouble only a few days ago. He had more things waiting to come up, at home, but he couldn’t take them all at once despite his wish to do so. He couldn’t hold it all, the mattress was rather big, next time he would bring the other pillows and comforter with him. He’d make a nest on top of the mattress for them to both relax on and for himself to sleep on when he came on his own and wanted to spend more time at Venice.

In time he hoped to bring many more things, make the place comfortable and livable. The duffle bag also contained candle sticks and a grill lighter for them as well as a small, for now, first aid kit. He would be getting a larger one and filling it with as many things as he thought might be needed, but that wasn’t tonight. Tonight was bedding and comfort as well as some needs. The school bag he’d used last time was also slung over his shoulder and further weighed him down. Inside a flash light, water bottles, and his airbook so they could at least play music if they wanted to relax and spend a few hours at his wonder. He had charged his airbook before leaving, and made sure it was fully charged, so they could play music or watch something that he had downloaded. A nice place to spend some time beyond exploring - that’s what Venice would become for them.

When Venice had let him know that today would be the day they would visit his wonder, Erebus had been excited. He had been sure to ask yet again if Venice needed him to bring anything but was again told no and that he would be helping with things that the other was bringing instead. So all the Squire had on him was a small but powerful flashlight he had hooked onto one of his hip chains as he made his way to the meeting spot they had agreed on. Rather than borrow one of his parents vehicles, he had opted to just power up and roof hop to the meeting spot just in case they decided to stay for a long while and his parents needed their cars.

It didn’t take long for him to enter the warehouse area and he skirted around some worn looking warehouses that he didn’t trust the roofs of. Being this close he could feel the energy of a Page, he figured it would be Venice and not some random Knight patrolling the area since the energy was in the meeting area and headed for it. Once he was there he spotted Venice in the shadows, only spotting him because he was looking, and dropped down to the ground with a smile. “Did you arrive here with no problems?” He asked.

“Took fathers car. Is parked inside so no one will see.” He said while shifting and almost being knocked over by the mattress. It was a large thing, Queen sized, and with it’s weight and solidness pushing on him as he tried to keep it up...well yeah it sort of pushed back, or rather fell back against him. He’d been managing to keep it up against him while he’d been waiting, weighed down by numerous bags.

When he’d told Terry he was bringing things - he’d meant it. He had a lot and was rather overrun by it all in all honesty but he had it all! He had things of importance to bring and he would get them there tonight...with some help. “Mind helping hold some things so I can hold you.” And so he didn’t just topple over backward. Plus he was honestly a bit worried he might, upon arriving at hs wonder, lose his balance and aided by everything else - fall over and get crushed by the mattress he had.

“Thought to make so people can sleep there.” Since he’d not found a bedroom, which he was hoping to perhaps do tonight, he was prepared whether he found one or not.

Erebus quickly moved over to help Venice out with the mattress when he saw how heavy and unwieldy it was for the Page. “That’s good and I don’t mind helping at all. Just let me know which bags you want me holding and it will probably take both of us with hold the mattress.” He said as he glanced at the bags with the other. It was slightly daunting with the idea that this would have to be repeated with his own Wonder as well as whenever they had to move large objects like wood and such for repairs to both of them but worth it in the end he was sure.

“Probably a good idea. Are we going to set up the stuff then go exploring or go exploring first since we might find a better place to set up?” He asked as he started to take some of the bags from Venice, not quite waiting for the other to let him know what to take like he had said. Since he had never been to the other’s Wonder he figured he would check and see if the other had a place in mind for them to place the bed and other bags or not. He knew either way they would be exploring of course.

It was the bag with the food in it, for a late dinner, that he offered to the other and offered to take the others hand then so he could pull him in close and teleport everything up to his wonder. He knew it was a lot but would it drain him more? He did wonder, as he was sure taking another person would be draining. Would all the items be draining though? Well, he supposed he’d find out soon enough.

“Just this bag.” He said pressing a kiss to the others cheek and rubbing his nose to his cheek then, smiling against the others skin. He wasn’t going to let Erebus take all his bags, of even the ones he wanted. The food one was enough as it was heavy...he’d sort of cooked a lot. “Will need to get used to this, going to make livable.” So he’d wind up bringing up more things over time, the next time up he was planning on bringing more bedding, more first aid supplies, and who knows what else. He supposed whatever he found tonight might dictate what else he’d bring, he might just find something like a bedroom or living quarters. If he found living quarters he’d have to bring new things, replace things which were broken or in some way destroyed and in need of replacement. He was going to make it a place to go to study, spend time, and something personal and private for himself and himself and Erebus.

“Leave it where we land...might find good place. Is a theater so...place will be hard to find for it less I find living quarters.” Which he hadn’t found on his first, and till now only, visit. He was hoping to find them tonight and get into them so he could start making it livable so they could spend time there - together.

“Will land in entrance, big room with right inside the theater.” He needed curtains from there. He already could foresee the spending of lots of his paychecks for curtains and wood and other needs. It would be expensive but he was going to fix the theater up, maybe change the colors a bit since it was kind of cliche. But he would make it look better - fresh.

Erebus took the offered bag and hooked it over his arm so he could grasp Venice’s hand. “You sure?” He asked though he nodded when the other mentioned he would have to get used to it. He smiled and kissed him back and made sure his grip on the mattress was good enough. He didn’t want to drop it when they teleported after all. His eyes shifted to the mattress for a moment thoughtfully as he debated whether he would prefer to bring a mattress like this or just get a blow up one for camping before he looked away, deciding to think on it later.

“Alright sounds good.” He said with a nod. It would certainly be easier to do it that way. “Do you have any idea on where to start first in exploring or did you just planning on winging it?” He was curious to find out if they would be exploring, or in Venice’s case re-exploring, the Wonder as thoroughly as they had his mansion in his own Wonder.

“Am sure.” He answered with a smile to the other. He was more than sure. He didn’t want to knock or bounce the food and drinks around in that bag. It was best someone else hold it, someone not as laden by bags as he was. Pulling Terry as close to himself as he could and holding onto him, he didn’t know what would or even could happen if someone he let go of him. Was there even a time when he could? It seemed so instant but that wasn’t possible right? Just too fast for the mind to comprehend, but still time for a slip - right? It was a very odd concept and one he didn’t care to think on too much, less he drive himself a bit mad in thinking about it.

“Explored last time...was a door - couldn’t get it open.” He wanted to try again, to try and force it if he could. He did want to get it open and see whatever was hidden behind it, in the hopes of it being some place he could put his things - like the mattress.

“Can show you the rest also, is only a big theater.” He said. It wasn’t nearly as big as the others wonder, but he was proud of it and appreciated it anyway and why wouldn’t he? Maybe also he’d find his ring? He’d heard about it but lacked it which made communication difficult if not impossible, though he wasn’t the only one in that boat. He knew of at least one other knight of Ganymede who lacked a ring, thus communication was hard. They all really needed to get their rings so they could better communicate, especially if they ever needed help.

With his hold on Terry secure as well as the hold he had on the mattress he focused himself on his wonder, on where he wanted to go and on the oath to protect it. Pressing his face into the others shoulder, his eyes falling closed, the trip was quick - instant. One moment hidden in the shadows of warehouses and the next in the musty old theater surrounded by the torn, eaten and decaying curtains and carpeted floor. Holes in the wooden floor and doors in front of them and doors behind them. Behind lead outside and in front lead to the theater's seating area for the common people.

He held on tightly when Seung pulled him closer, trusting the other but still not being sure if having all of the supplies with change anything about the teleport. “Do you want to start there then?” He asked at the mention of the door. Terry had a door like that at his own wonder but neither one of them had tried to force it since there had been so much more to explore at the time.

He gave a nod at the mention of getting shown the rest. He could easily admit that he was curious about the other’s wonder and would welcome a tour. He kept quiet though when Seung looked like he was starting to concentrate for the teleport and a moment or so later he was glad he did as he was proven right. Thankfully the teleport didn’t seem affected by the supplies and Terry didn’t end up almost dropping the hold he had on the mattress. The Squire looked around curiously and gave the other a light squeeze when he saw the building was in just as bad shape as his own wonder. “I bet it looked lovely in it’s heyday.”

That was something he really did want to try, the locked door. He wanted to know what was behind it. It wasn’t just being curious but what else could be down there? An office, props, stage setting, costumes, and what was needed to move props up onto the stage via the trap doors on the stage. What else could be down there? Nodding his head to the others question.

“Heyday?” He asked as he let his hold on the other go and set his bags down, and let go of the mattress. For now these things could stay here. He did however need his flashlight, it would be harder to see inside when sunlight from the outdoors wasn’t filtering inside. The sunlight wouldn’t reach beyond this entrance, gathering, room and the rest of the place was dark - very dark. Maybe he’d eventually get lights in the place? Or some form of lighting if things could fix themselves? It was worth hoping for - right?

“Big place...grand.”

When Seung started to put down the bags and drop the mattress, Terry followed suit though he was careful with the bag seeing how it contained food in it. “A heyday is a period of time during its highest success.” He replied as he lifted the little flashlight hanging on his chains to turn it on and give them more light to see by. He hummed in agreement as he looked around, pointing the flashlight towards this and that. “It most certainly is from what I’ve seen.” He gave a smile to the other. “I wonder what kind of plays were put on.” He knew he wouldn’t get an answer to that question unless it turned out that Seung was a reincarnation and started to get memories or they found his ancestor. “Where to first?”

“Ohh...so peak.” He said nodding his head in understanding. With his own flashlight in hand he left his bag, for now, on the floor and clicked on the light he had. Moving it about so he could see around them. This main room wasn’t too bad light wise but beyond here there would be no outside source of light.

“Theater floor.” He said headed for the doors in front of the. Big wooden doors that lead into the theater, right to the floor seating where common people sat. The seats were ripped from the floor and strewn about, as if some fighting had happened or some sort of incident - something big. The floor wasn’t bad, save for the disaster which was the carpets covering the floor. But the stage ahead was where he was headed, jumping and climbing over chairs as he made his way toward the stage. The muscles of his arms flexing as he moved things, climbed over things, and as he nearly fell as something under him gave way. “Need to clean these - dangerous.” But how to get them back into place and make them stay there? There had to be a way to screw them back to the floor or something...it seemed a job where a power tool might be needed.

The steps leading up the stage were climbed, albeit slowly, as he was unsure how safe they were. The stage itself he knew was unsafe as it hosted several holes that you could see the basement from, including one a car could go into.
PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2016 11:32 pm

“Exactly.” He said with a smile, glad he had explained it well enough. He followed after Venice, sticking close even as he moved the light in his hands back and forth so he could look around. The Squire did stop looking around as much when they had to climb over the chairs so he wouldn’t trip thanks to not paying attention. “Agreed, though to start we might want to pile them up to the sides so we can make sure nothing needs to be done to the floor so they could stay.” He suggested as he reached out to the other so he could make sure he didn’t get hurt once they got to the stage. Erebus looked at the stage floor and gave a wince at how much damage it had taken over the years.

Nodding at the others suggestion he looked back to him, offering a hand to the other to assist him in getting over things. “Yes, and see if any are broken.” Maybe they could replace them...but how? Where could they get replacements? Maybe just fix them? It was all so very...daunting when he looked at everything which needed repairs and all the broken things here. He just had to remind himself to start small, not to dive in and drown himself as he was prone to doing at times.

Taking the others hand he looked down at the floor as well. “Most seems ok now...not sure on it all though.” He said carefully making his way to the edge of the largest hole, which could could drop a car through, and slowly let himself fall through to the basement floor below. “Careful, many things down here.” He said as he motioned that he’d catch the other. “Storage...and sets down here.” He said. He had seen it the last time he’d been here, costumes, set designs and gears that would be turned in order to open and close trap doors and raise and lower various things like people and set pieces. He didn’t know if they worked, or were broken, it was too dark down here to tell and he honestly didn’t know how they all worked. He knew nothing about theater.

“Many things down here.” It was big down here, really big, and likely housed everything that would need to be moved up via trap door to whatever the current show had been at the time plus everything for shows not currently running. He hadn’t checked the backstage area up above him, maybe he would this time. He was sure there would be wardrobe, maybe, and seating areas for actors and actresses to get made up at - as there was no such things down here.
PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2016 11:33 pm

“Maybe we can see if there are any classes we can take that might help in learning how to repair some of this.” Erebus said as he grasped the offered hand and finished climbing onto the stage. He glanced around at the area, spending a bit more time eyeing the holes in the floor as he didn’t trust them, then looked back to Venice as the Page started to move over to the biggest one. He frowned a bit as he moved to follow the other, hand out to be ready to grab Venice if it looked like the floor might collapse farther. When the other jumped down he inched a bit closer and peered down there, carefully shining the flashlight so he wasn’t blinding the other. “Have you had time to explore what kinds of sets and such are there?” He asked, curious as to what kind of plays had happened in the grand theater.

As he was waiting for a response he carefully jumped down by Venice in a clear spot. He placed one hand on the Page’s shoulder and gave a smile before he shined the flashlight at his hip around the area. There were so many different things around them that he wasn’t sure where to even start paying attention to.

“No...not enough light.” He called up to the other from where he stood, ready to catch him whenever Erebus decided to join him down here. The idea of classes to help, to teach them how to do some of the repairs, was a good thing to look into and something he had not thought of. He couldn’t see a university teaching such things but perhaps they did? If not surely they could ask someone who worked at a home goods store? It wasn’t like they could hire anyone, how to explain where the site was, get everything up here, and everything else. It was impossible really and he was actually glad for it. He didn’t want to bring a bunch of unknown people to his wonder, or up into space for that matter. There was no telling who’d they talk to or what they’d do to his wonder, Ganymede itself, or to him. It left them having to learn from people, books, classes or any other way possible.

When the other jumped he had moved to catch him only for the other to land rather easily - next to him. Placing his hand over the others which rested on his shoulder he smiled. “Ok? Didn’t hurt self when landing?” He asked, concerned and questioning, as he flashed his own flashlight about. The sets and pieces for them were large and detailed, or had been. Paint was faded and damage done. The background sets had holes in them as well as being curled at the edges and yellowed. They had certainly seen better days - much better.
