"...Our tribe was woven with Magi appointed to us- but where have they gone? Only one among us has ever spoken with the one who was chosen as our guide- and he has brought forth grave news- he has left us. Not a word as to why or where he has gone, not a rumor or a whisper to guide us in his paw steps. This B'alam, Volga, once considered our Magus his sworn-brother, but even he was left with only questions.
We are left leaderless..." ~ Age of Genesis: Year three.
[[ OOC ]] You voted- and here's our answer! The long-awaited Metaplot & FC contest for the Fire Tribe is finally beginning! As aforementioned, due to complications IRL and beyond, the Fire Tribe of B'alam has fallen into a leaderless state. Their culture has yet to be established, they have no traditions to call their own, and the tribe itself has gone far too long without a firm paw to guide them towards an established foundation.
The votes for maleficent vs. a benevolent leader were extremely close, with benevolent coming out as the victor. Because of how closely the poll was drawn, we have decided to combine the ideas pitched within the poll into a large-scale metaplot that would conclude with a benevolent leader for the new Fire Tribe.
Are you ready to shoot some sparks?

The Story Prologue... When the foundations of the realm were laid and the first sentient beings drew breath, enlightened spirits were chosen to walk among them and to guide them into this young world. These spirits are known as the Magi. Those woven at the dawn of creation were given a special sense of awareness and a spirit of leadership. They laid the foundations of their perspective tribes, guiding the young woven spirits along the road of culture, discovery, and the law.
However, these spirits were woven with something just as powerful as their enlightened minds- free will.
Of all the tribes, fire was made the most powerful in both body and in spirit. Their ambition shines through their eyes and leaps like embers from a flaming cauldron from their mouths. The Magi, the patrons of their tribes, embodied these values more than any. The first Magi, a female by the name of Xiao Fan began to feel so burdened by the responsibility placed upon her shoulders that her very sanity crumbled away. There are only whispers of her madness, for she vanished nearly as quickly as she appeared, never to be heard from again. The second Magi and mate to the first, Vulkonus remained for some time- but consumed with grief, he isolated himself. Taking council with only his trusted friend and body-guard, Volga, Vulkonus largely acted and spoke to the tribe through him. One night, without word or warning, the second magus vanished.
The tribe stands leaderless with only a fragile whisper of a culture to live within. The B'alam of the Fire Tribe have been left without guidance, without a culture to govern their ways, without a law, and without a law giver. Some have already taken their chances and fled to the lands beyond, hoping to forge a better life for themselves while others remain, hopeful that the Weaver will answer their collective prayers...
Chapter One ~ The Seeker Unwilling to see his tribe crumble, Volga has departed from the lands in order to seek out another who might be able to bear the mantle of Emperor. For days he felt a nagging sensation, a hunch in the back of his mind that there might be something, or someone, outside of the borders of the tribe that could bring forth deliverance. However, Volga was not a whimsical spirit and brushed these feelings off as simple longing onset by the rising anxiety within his tribe.
The Ring of Fire shook the morning that he appeared- a tall, powerful Tah with fire in his eyes and a mouth filled with flaming ambition. He called himself Shen Lung and claimed that he had been sent by the Weaver himself to restore honor and pride to the shattered land. The quaking mountains behind his towering form accompanied by leaping embers against black fire-clouds seemed to be a sign from The Weaver himself that this B'alam's words were, in fact, true.
He spoke of power. He spoke of pride. He turned the tribe's gaze to the gaping mouth of the earth itself, boiling with liquid flame and spewing clouds into the sky. He claimed that fire was the birthplace of the entire realm- that their magma created the foundations of the earth, that it devoured water and spat it into the sky to sting the eyes of the wind. He spoke with such burning conviction and authority that it was difficult to question him. For those desperate to feel confidence in their homeland again- he was Weaver-sent.
For those that questioned him, however, he was worse than festering wound. Opposition, he claimed, showed weakness and cowardice. The tribe was to rise above such petty ideals. Those that opposed him opposed the will of the Weaver himself and were met with the horns and claws of SHen. One such B'alam, Asher, was made an example of before the entire tribe. His bones were broken and his eyes blinded by a single blow from Shen's paws. His battered form was left on the border of the lands to be consumed by whatever fate had in store for him.
Unable to stomach the iron paw of Shen, Volga arranged for his mate, Crucible to remain within the tribe and watch Shen's activities. Volga himself slipped from the tribe's lands using the ore mines of the tribe's founding blacksmith, Forge gathered up Ashur, and led the pale B'alam into the lands beyond.
Volga now seeks the one who may change the flames of destruction into the fires of rebirth...
But he would need some help.
Story Progression ••• Outside of the Fire Tribe territory, Volga will discover a young cub marked with a blazing bird on his pelt. This cub who will identify himself as Feng Huang is the new hope of the Tribe.
The FC's will join up with Volga in protecting and cultivating their future leader into the kind of B'alam that the tribe needs. Essentially, the Weaver has provided a young mind with a good heart and a willing spirit to be formed into the kind of Emperor that the tribe needs and wants. The FC's will begin as his surrogate family and advisers and grow into his most devoted supporters.
It's up to the owners of the FC's to decide how and why their characters are drawn to Feng Huang and how they will serve him. When he grows to adulthood (in roughly 4 months), he will be old and strong enough to challenge Shen for control of the Fire Tribe and lead a small army in the first civil war of the realm.

OOC Info & Contest Rules
Before Entering••• 🔥Read all the rules. These FC's are extremely important to this plot and we want the winners of these characters to know the rules of the shop inside and out. This means that you should be familiar with everything on the front page and everything in the Beginner`s Guide. If you have any questions/concerns, ask a staff member!
🔥Read the prologue and Chapter 1. This was provided to you above. The story is the first formal "metaplot" within the shop and the above information lays the foundation for both your entry and for the rp's and story that you will be required to participate in.
🔥You MUST be available to role play consistently. FC owners are a different breed of shop-goer. While we're all for casual rpers or those that would really rather just have pretty pets and unspoken stories- the FC's are for those of the community that want to be a part of a larger, more important story. Winners of the FC's will be expected to rp, actively, at least until September when the conclusion of the meta is scheduled to occur. We've scheduled this meta to fall in line with Summer Break, so there should be plenty of time for everyone. If you are not able to rp, actively, with people you may or may not get along with- don't enter.
🔥FC's can be re-homed. If you do not role play your character- they can be re-homed. These characters play very important roles within the Fire Tribe and will need to be very active during the Meta and reasonably active thereafter. Once you achieve Magus- the risk of rehoming is gone. They're yours. But to obtain Magus- you have to RP. We also hope that after Magus is obtained, you will still rp.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Event Details••• 🔥Event Times: xxx• Event Begins: June 1, 2016 [10AM -PST ] xxx• Event Ends: July 1, 2016 [ 10PM - PST ] Thalion will be absent for a week during this time, so any questions between the day of June 18-25th will need to be directed to GunSniper or [ Radical Dreamer ].
🔥Event Fees: None. This is a free event to participate within.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Event Rules••• 🔥You can enter for all of the FC's but you can only win one. On top of this, you cannot state which FC you want over another. Whichever one of your entries fits the character is the one that you will be awarded if your entry scores the best for that particular character. Enter for only those you want!
🔥You must fill out the entire form! Anything left blank will be counted against your final score.
🔥You can change your entry up to the day of the event's closing. This means you can go in, make changes, fix spelling errors, etc. This is not, however, a window for you to take an idea from another entry and add it to yours. The staff will be monitoring this contest and every entry very carefully to make sure that this does not happen.
🔥You will have to role play with staff members: Thalion, GunSniper, [ Radical Dreamer ], and Ririka. If you have a problem with any of the staff members and cannot associate with them through RP, then you need not enter.
🔥Staff members, barring Thalion, may enter. They will, however, be judged by the same rules and standards as anyone else. Favoritism does not survive these fires!
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
About Judging••• As with our previous FC contests, there will be a scorecard system used to fairly judge the entries and these entries will be broken into three sections:
Shop Knowledge Quiz → You will be tested on how much you know about the canon of the shop. As an FC owner, you will be a representative of the shop. People new to the tribe may come to you later on for help and advice as well as RP and plots. You should know your stuff! → Shop Conduct will also be taken into account. If you are active in the thread, kind, polite, and respectful- you'll fare better!
Character Development → You will be judged on how well you've built this character. → Personality, history, motive, and plot direction will be taken into account to find the person who will use this character best within the confines of the metaplot.
Prompt Response → Writing style will not damage you here. Different writers have different approaches to writing and answering prompts- we're looking for well-thought out entries. → You will be answering prompts the same way you might answer a scenario in RP. Do your best! → It's not the size of the entry that counts! A long rp could make us read a lot but say very little. A short rp could be quite powerful. Word count doesn't always add up to high marks in quality.
Bonus Points → In the case of close calls and ties, we will glance over the RP history of those that have entered. Activity could very well push your entry to the top!
About the prompts••• The prompts are setting up scenarios in which the FC's have met up with the group. We will use these as the guidelines when the actual role playing begins. They are left open-ended for you to, essentially, create your own RP and establish why your FC will swear their loyalty to the Phoenix Army. We will be using the interactions to help guide the RP's in the future so we can best work with your character.
If you have any question, PM Thalion.
Volga is owned by GunSniper and you can approach her with questions about your entry.
None of the staff can offer help in the actual entry- but we can answer questions to help you fill it out!

The Master Bladesmith will be the B'alam who perfects the art of sword and weapon creation. His master, Forge is the B'alam who discovered Blacksmithing, and has served as this B’alam’s mentor from the time of his weaving.
When Shen first began to establish himself, Forge decided he would remain neutral in the affair and concentrate on his work. The Bladesmith, however, would have been sent away from his master so that his trade could not fall into the wrong paws. His departure would be shortly after Volga’s and thankfully, his flight was not interrupted by the loyalists of the Dragon Army.
The Bladesmith will be able to continue his trade outside of the Fire Tribe, but it will be that more difficult. Thanks to his master, however, he is more than capable of working in a pinch. After discovering Volga and the foundling cub, he will test the intent of the cub before entrusting him with a blade and armor of his own…
His Role || The Bladesmith will be something of the gruff uncle figure of the surrogate family. Trusted with his art by his master, he is unwilling to see the fruits of his craft in the wrong paws. A tyrant like Shen would use his swords on the innocent and hide behind his armor from the claws of those that might rise up against him. In the right paws- his deadly art could be used to smite evil. The Bladesmith will need to test Feng’s virtue.

He runs, carrying only a few essentials in a satchel strapped to his back, and continues to press forward until his body can take no more. His steps become weighted, heavy, and filled with agony. His lungs ache and his vision soon becomes filled with dark spots. It seems for a time that the world under his paws has turned to liquid and rolls up and down. In short order he is felled by his own exhaustion.
Upon waking, a familiar figure stands nearby, his silver helmet set aside as he seems preoccupied with watching something else in the distance. Though the Bladesmith had only seen him from a distance, he knows this imposing Tah to be Volga, the bodyguard of the former Magus. In the distance the object of his attention is attempting to fell his own shadow cast along the face of a tall rock. A cub- perhaps freshly woven.
What does the Bladesmith do? How does he feel about having been apparently rescued, or at the very least looked over, by the B'alam who was last to see the Magus?

The Tactician will be the B'alam who perfects the art of strategy in warfare. She will have been woven outside of the Fire Tribe's capital, but still within the Fire Tribe's territory. Observing the chaos growing, she will elect to find a place just out of the way so her talents aren't sought out and forced to be put to a devious purpose.
Her Role || The Tactician will be something of a mother figure to the young newly-woven and will instruct him in the finer arts. She'll teach him how to think critically, how to observe other B'alam and their terrain, and above all- how to make wise decisions. She will be his closest adviser and help direct the armies that will soon fall under his command.
The Tactician will need to test Feng’s wisdom.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ►The Prompt
Shen dragged the hapless form of a pale tah by the scruff of his neck. The alabaster fur of the small Fire Tribe B'alam was smeared with blood and turned up in places where his pelt had been torn. His face was contorted with pain with the source being two rather vacant eye sockets. The pale form was dumped unceremoniously into a heap and left laying in misery for fate to take him. By some stroke of luck, the creature was still alive- but for how long?
It was the first time she had ever seen such violence. The message was clear enough- whomever this Shen was, he was not to be crossed. The pale B'alam- hard to miss among a nation of crimson and gold - served as an example of the end result of opposition.
Conflicted, the Nantlil remained in her hiding place, quietly weighing the pros and cons of coming to this stranger's aid. Thankfully, she was spared the decision when a helmeted figure slank from the shadows and began pulling the blinded albino up to his paws. They exchanged unheard words and the wounded tah was shouldered and led away.
Reason warred with curiosity and the later won over...she decided to follow.
Your answer here...
General will be the B'alam who serves directly under the commander, Oni and will lead the Phoenix Army under the command of Feng Huang. When Shen took command of the Fire Tribe, Oni sent his general away with the firm order to gather an army and not to return until he had done so.
Unfortunately this means that the reality of the situation is this: The General will have to lead an army against his own Commander. Conflicted, but not one to defy orders, he has strapped on his armor and fled from his homeland to carry out his orders. It's during this time that he will encounter Volga, the body guard of the former Magus with a new charge...
A cub that Volga claims will challenge Shen.
His Role || The General will be the most difficult of the lot. He was sent by his commander to essentially find an army to rise against him. It's not an easy set of orders, but he's loyal to a fault. It's a little difficult for him to come to terms with the fact that it seems the best hope for his tribe came in the form of a cub rather than a warrior with a massive set of horns and a fire in his belly. It's fallen onto him to take the runt and mold him into a worthy leader.
The General will train Feng alongside Volga in the art of combat, testing the cub's physical limits and refining him into a warrior capable of challenging Shen.
The General will need to test Feng’s strength.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ►The Prompt
Never had he even considered questioning an order given to him. Never had there been a need...now, this time of all times, he was beginning to question everything. Oni, unyielding in his tone or his command, sent him away with only one command: Build an army. Crush Shen.
Easier said than done... while Fire B'alam weren't always woven within the heart of the capital, or even within the tribe's lands themselves, how was he supposed to form an army? Who would lead them? He was a general, he led groups of men but he always had someone to look to. He followed orders, relaying them down through the chain of command. He wasn't an emperor or a commander... why would any outsider devote themselves and perhaps give their life to him and his judgement? It was an impossible, cruel thing to ask of him.
For days he had walked. The heat of the volcanoes and the lava beds had long given way to the relative humidity of the lower lands. His armor weighed heavily on his back as he walked through the dew-kissed grass, his eyes ever focused on the world ahead. It was during this long march that he had come to find Volga, the former emperor's bodyguard, and his new charge. None of what the warrior had to say settled the general's mind. They were training this whelp- a scrawny thing -to challenge Shen himself.
With nothing else to lose- the general took the cub aside and led him out to test him and find out just what he was working with...

The Priestess will be the B'alam who leads the spirituality of the Fire Tribe. She will eventually preside over the ceremonies within the Tribe and serve as a spiritual and moral voice for the Emperor. She was woven somewhere on the border of the Fire Tribe territory and always felt a deeper connection to the Weaver. She's intrigued by creation itself and seeks to understand more of it simply to understand but a glimpse of the one who wove it together.
As the war broke out, the Priestess finds herself in a strange position- the Weaver should not suffer evil to exist...but perhaps evil is a result of free will? She is loathe to see fighting break out, but if she must throw her lot in- she'd best cultivate the right intent behind the side she joins.
Her Role || The Priestess will be named as such later on through the plot. In the inner circle of the Phoenix Army's leaders, she will serve as the voice of morality and right judgement to Feng and help him gain a deeper understanding of The Weaver and the world around him. She'll be the one that he can approach when his spirit takes a blow. It's very likely that she will be the only one that he feels he can show weakness to.
The Priestess will need to test Feng’s spiritual purity.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ►The Prompt
How could they not see that they were all brothers and sisters under the Weaver? She had been fortunate enough to only hear of the atrocities committed within the capital itself but it was no less difficult to absorb. Months of quiet meditation and prayer had suddenly been shattered as it seemed the world was lit ablaze. Uncertainty, fear, and hostilities began to grow.
Desperate for an answer- either from The Weaver himself or whispered within his creations, she made her way from the border of the capital into the humid tropical lands just on the edge of their territory. There, a group of strangers had gathered around a newly-woven cub. For a time, she kept her distance and simply observed. One of them would pull him aside and spar- boxing the small form until he was too tired to stand. Another would sit him down and speak with him for hours, drawing little circles and patterns in the soil while he strained to make sense of it. Yet another spent a lot of time stoking coals and playing with a hammer...whatever were they doing?
One night, while much of the company slept, the little one stepped away from the group and found a small boulder to lay on. Under the starlight, the priestess approaches. A quiet look of purpose has filled this little cub...perhaps he has her answer?
For the purposes of this prompt, you may RP Feng Huang. This will not be canon- it's simply to assist your prompt if need be!
Your answer here...

►The Quiz xxx◘ What is the primary trait of the Fire Tribe and what is it used for? The pointy things that pop out of the thick skull of their heads. Horns, the fire tribe b'alam are known by their thick-skulls...er...hard skulls and horns. Aside from looking fricken awesome, they support and help heat regulation as well as storage. xxx◘ What area(s) can Fire Tribe B’alam not survive in? Fire b'alam can not exist in the upper area of the island that is isolated by mountains and inhabited by Ice balam. It is an arctic climate in the warm climate just below the mountains, it is possible for them to survive, but very uncomfortable and will support sickly-ness. xxx◘ Can Fire Tribe B’alam actually use fire magic? Only the fire magus can, and only to a point. It is physically and mentally taxing on the body. xxx◘ What is Telekinesis and how to B’alam use it? -tel·e·ki·ne·sis ˌteləkəˈnēsis/ noun the supposed ability to move objects at a distance by mental power or other nonphysical means.
B'alam's use this power to help move things that would other wise be impossible for normal non-magic kitty cats to do. However, magic kitty-cats can only use the power to lift as much as they physically can do so.
xxx◘ Who were this B’alam’s parents and how will you explain their absence? This one, doesn't have parents. She was woven by the weaver's own paw. xxx◘ Who is the current Fire Tribe Magus? Currently, no one 'official'. The last magus, according to lore, abandon their post. Shen, however is trying to stake claim to the title...

►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? xxxxxx→ Xian || xxxxxx (Chinese: 仙/仚/僊; pinyin: xiān; Wade–Giles: hsien) is a Chinese word for an enlightened person, translatable in English as:
"spiritually immortal; transcendent; super-human; celestial being" (in Daoist/Taoist philosophy and cosmology)
Why this name: I choose this name because according to Chinese mythology, the Red-crowned Crane is used often to refer to transformed Taoist immortals (xian). Seeing that the Tactician looks like it was based off of a Red-crowned Crane, it's really fitting.
xxx◘ Personality:
Xian is as gentle and refreshing as summer breeze. Being a strict teacher, Xian has a kind understanding and motherly approach in spite of how unforgiving her lessons can be. Her voice is clam and very pleasant. (Like if I had to describe it with a actress I would say it's like Scarlett Johansson's voice) Honest to a fault, even if it is painful. She believes that someone can not truly learn without the truth being present. The Nahtlil at all times can be seen being elegant, her pose is as much a apart of her as her fur is.
xxx◘ Character fun facts:
Xian loves to dance, and is often told she does so beautifully. Xian loves to play and create games.
xxx◘ History: The history I have laid out here, are plots I plan on carrying out, if I win her. The reason why I have so much 'back log' is because I believe that while she is gifted and woven to be the tactician, it makes more sense for her skills and gifting a to have been honed and sharpen with experience. Which, will be something, Xian will pass on to the Cub, Feng Huang. Besides, before war there was no need or such thing as a tactician, but perhaps someone who was first inspired to learn and be a teacher. In time, her skills will reveal to her and others that she is indeed an tactician with the help of the upcoming war.
Xian was woven on the outskirts of the fire capital, it wont be before long she runs into the Fire Tribe commander, Oni. From there a relationship will be forged. The young teacher will have a desire to travel to have a better understanding of the world around her. The Weaver has given her a heart to teach and to seek understanding. This is what drives her desire to see what is outside of the fire territory. It will only be once the war starts and in her parting from Oni that she will discover her true purpose on b'alam and become Feng's tactician in the war.
xxx◘ Plot Plans: Past Plot: (Back Log/History):
*Just before the Shen comes to power, Previous magus is missing* Meeting Oni: I want the Dragon Commander, Oni (Owned by Ririka, and all plots mentioned have been discussed and are with given permission to use) to have an established relationship before Shen comes into power. This has been discussed with permission, for the two to have an attachment to each other.
leaves for Pilgrimage: Xian will have a desire for Knowledge and understanding. Woven with tact, a b'alam could be a 'natural' at something, but far from their true potential. Xian will travel for a time to gain the skills of a master Tactician. Though before war, she will simply be known a student of life, and perhaps a teacher to some.
*Is given the Feather Fan by Oni* The Fan will be given to Xian by Oni, in some what of a 'good bye, don't forget me' kind of gift. A sign of his unspoken affection. (all with given permission, by Ririka) The Fan will have been made by Forge (Owned by Dreamer) by special request. (Have to explain it some how)
*Learning to Read and Write* To be a good Tactician, and able to convey her thoughts on paper. I think it would be really good for her to learn how to read and write. So she will have a chance meeting with a Water Tribe member, and wind b'alam known as Caucher (Owned by Dreamer).
*There's always a Hook* Xian will have a chance run in with the Tahtll, named Hook (Owned by Dreamer). He will teach her how to read maps and stars as well as make charts. At this time, there will be an exchange and Hook will find out about her affections for another back at home which will halt his approach. Knowing his own loss on love, Hook will tell her of the rumors of a new Fire Ruler, suggesting it might be best to return home; cutting her journey short.
Meta Plot During War:
*Returns back to the fire tribe before finishing her journey* Prompt A Short meeting with Oni, before Xian leaves with Volga
*When with Feng Huang and During the War* Creates a form of Shogi, to help Teach Feng Huang about Strategy. Cubs love games, and what a better way to teach the basics of strategy in a game of Shogi, or Chess. Games would be a huge part of Feng's younger development, so it will be easier for him to understand. As he gets older and has gained more of an understanding the 'games' will become more complex.
Teaches Feng Huang how to read and write, as well as make charts It would be a good skill for a leader to know, even if it is still a new thing to masses. It can be, if allowed by him be integrated into the Fire Tribe Culture.
Shows Feng Huang how to understand another b'alam's motives by placing himself in their paws. She does this in hopes he would understand them as well as he understands himself. Even in causing their defeat he would have compassion for his adversary, and have understanding of their own motives. This will be done by her giving possible reasoning to their actions.
Future Plot After War:
*Yoliliztli with Oni* If Oni actually lives, as well as Xian Their relationship will grow into a an actual Yoliiztli agreement. This will all be worked out in rp, of course.
*Oni, and Cubs * I would like to see this couple start a family. If story provides, and both are alive. Xian is very motherly and often enjoys the thought of having carved cubs of her own. ( Feng Huang would not be replaced in feeling like a son.)
*Adviser to the Emperor* I can see that after the Meta, Xian will remain a teacher and evolve from just a tactician to an actual adviser to Feng Huang when he has become Emperor. Provided that it works out in story.
xxxExtra:
◘ Special Interaction/ Relationship with Oni, the Dragon commander: There relationship during the war, in a nutshell was a distant and unspoken one as Xian left for her joinery. The distance cause emotions inside of her that were filled with fondness and longing. Being given the gift of the fan from Oni, Xian was sure that he might have felt the same about her. However, they would never had a chance to tell each other how they felt. Though, for Xian her affections for Oni are deeply felt. Though they have never been spoken of, Xian body language and tone of voice conveyed more then words could ever have done.
Tragic Love story This plot brings up a very unique and tragic love story, Xian would be raising Feng Huang to fight, defeat and carrier the decision of someone she cares for deeply (and perhaps love), life in his paws. She will be teaching him specially to defeat him...
Xian could be found some times off by her in a quiet place, preening or using her fan, often in silent thought of the one she left to remain with the Dragon. She never openly, if at all talks about these times-or reviles what she is doing. This is her private time, to mediate on the path she has chosen.
Anytime Xian uses her fan in some form, she is thinking of Oni.
Volga would know about their estranged relationship.
Xian inwardly feels very guilty about leaving Oni.
◘Special Interaction with Feng Huang:
Since Xian will be like a mother figure to the little cub, and watch him grow into the leader they all hope him to be, one could expect special treatment and interaction from the Nahtlil
Xian would look after him as if he were her own cub, carved by her own paws and woven by half her spirit.
She will call him 'Sweet Cub' when they are alone for lessons, and very endearingly. Around others, she will address him as 'Lord' and other proper formal means.
Xian will be very strict with her lessons, firm, but as gentle as understanding Mother; that knows, he is still a cub and learning.
She will never mention her personal attachment and ties to the Commander of the Dragon Army. For the sole reason to not cloud his judgement of what he is being prepared to do.
◘ Feng Huang's Lessons from the Tactician: There will be several lessons that F eng Huang will be taught, that will be more then just quill and parchment.
Purpose and leadership doesn't have an age: This will be most likely the first lesson that Xian will teach Feng, as he is just a cub and a lot of near-sighted b'alam will only see him just as that. Xian will pass on the understanding that even the Tribe Magus had been just woven and were expected to lead. However, it will be wise to be for him to be mindful that others may see him as 'young', and not to let that deter him from his path.
To over come an opposition, one must understand why and know how they act: Xian's lessons will mainly be on what fuels another motives and gives reasons to why they may act. It could be said there are five main inner variables, that help dictate another motives and actions: Tribe, culture, core belief, creativity, and attitude. Xian would first help the cub, Feng Huang to under what these are and how to distinguish these in another. *She has discovered this with the help and gifting of the Weaver, as well as in personal travel.*
It's not manipulation, but fore-thought: After Personal understanding and b'alam behavior is established on why b'alam do what they do, Xian would move the lessons to be focus more on core strategy in how to over come conflict and how to respond accordingly to the situation to come out on top. To be two steps ahead of the adversary.
This tactic can be use as a means to also help take care of his b'alam and followers. To understand their own needs before they even have a chance to speak them.
It's not about strength or force, but rather tact and will. Xian, not being very physically strong herself has had to relay on more then just brawn, just like the young cub. Though he will grow to be strong, he will be taught to use more then his claws. As well as know the value of a battle won without the use of physical force and the cost of life. Words can be just as decisive and if not more, then tooth and nail.
War is really just an orchestrated dance: In a partnered dance, one can not act with out another, and mainly relays on who is the lead the what the other is going to do. It's important to know what steps to take. Xian will help Feng know such steps to take and help him learn how to make his on his own.

►The Prompt
Prompt
There was a crowd....
A soft breath passed from the dark maw of a graceful fire Nahtlil. Yellow eyes peered past crimson locks as they watched the white and bloodied b'alam be carried away. Long white tail raised a finely crafted feathered 'fan' to delicately hide her maw. Careful eyes swiftly looked around for a familiar masked face and figure, Oni was no where to be seen. What a relief it would have been to have been able to see him-if even just at a glance. Elegant paws shifted the Nahtlil back and under the shadow of the caved side entrance of the capital of the city.
Xian had just returned from her pilgrimage, and It was just as the winged b'alam with a hook for a paw had said...
Trouble and change.
Though, perhaps Xian had returned too late from her travel's. Worry gripped the Nahtlil's chest as she looked down to the broken and maimed Tah. Widened eyes looked around to the surrounding b'alam's that too had watched the spectacle of the pale brave b'alam. No one had done anything, or tried to oppose this new 'leader', except the mauled Tahtll that was left to be forgotten. His attacker must have been 'the dragon', his name had been whispered on the winds and spoken about by the b'alam that sailed them.
Parted maw heaved a breath as her eyes returned back to the broken sight, some-b'alam had to do something. This wasn't right. Their previous magus-their good and just emperor would have never even thought of doing such a to one of his followers, and his b'alam would have never thought to raise a voice against him. Xian had only head tales of him, as he had gone missing when she herself was woven just out side the capital and on the fire plains. Though, it had only been thought that he had left on a enlightening joinery and would return...just like she-but,Vulkonus...
Vulkonus had truly forsaken them...
Taking in a slow breath, long tail shifted the gripped fan from her maw and a pure white paw raised taking a step forward. She couldn't stand idle and at very least let the Tahtll be left there alone to die.
Yes, it was foolish and just like the pure white b'alam, she stood out wildly among the crimson and gold. Xian had weighed the risks and there was no doubt she would be more marked for helping one that had opposed the new 'leader'. However, a passionate fire roared in her chest as the sight and lack of action caused a sour and bitter taste in her mouth. It was too much for her taste to not do something. She could stand her ground, bare her teeth if someone opposed her...if it had to resort to such a thing. Either way, she wasn't going to not do something. Tail and fan flicked behind her hind ebony paws. Her protective and caring giving nature fueled the fire in her chest.
However, before a delicate paw could shift her forward a breath of relief left Xian. Some-balam started to slip from the shadows and acted while no one else would. Heart leap in her chest as she caught the sight of a familiar metal covering the Tahtlil's head. Could it be, Was it Oni?
Yellow eyes slowly blinked as the familiar helmeted figure stepped from his own place of idle refuge and approached the broken and maimed Tah...
It was Volga, not Oni but another relieved sigh slowly released from the Nahtlil, all the same. She was spared leaving her own hiding place as Volga took on the burden to help the outcasedt. Her head slowly shook, as she was still taken a back and made angry at the sight of what just happen. No one had stepped up, to help the white b'alam before this. All must have remained still and watched, all but Volga...
But were was he before all of this, where was Oni? A heavy breath released from Xian as she pushed such concern from her thoughts. She didn't want such calculating thoughts to cast shadow over the small glimmer of hope that was given by Volga's actions just then and the pale b'alam's before that. Even if it was just a small ray that was cast from a single Tahtll that stood up to this 'dragon'. Even if it had cost him dearly, he would not be alone.
Xian felt as if she must see such a thing through, it was the least she could do. Her pride for her tribe wouldn't allow her to stay here and under such cruel rule. A rule that destroyed it's own b'alam, who might have only wanted to better their tribe, instead of turning a listening ear to them...
Curious ears perked forward as if to hope to grasp any words that where muttered between victim and savior.
As the two started to slip away from dissipating crowd, Xian's slender and careful paws shifted slowly to fallow as if guided by an unseen tread of fate. Gold eyes took one last glance for another familiar alabaster pelt, her graceful paws dragged slightly as his figure was no where to be seen. Quickly looking back to Volga, his frame was quickly slipping away from Xian's sight even with how slowly him and the broken one stumbled away. It was only then out of the corner of her gaze she saw a flick of white. In a graceful moment, Xian turned her head to look back to where she had just been standing just a moment before.
It was like time it's self had stopped in it's own appreciation for the moment at hand. There stood the one she had came back for. Watching, looking back at her carefully past iron mask....
Silent: it was the first word she trusted the Weaver himself would have chosen for the moment. 'Sorrow' was the second, as the she knew she tarry longer...
Gold loyal eyes met white orbs of duty and intention. She knew them right away and so well. How they silently questioned her...
Oh, Oni....
Pristine and clean fan was carried by tail tip once more to cover her maw with the careful turn of her head. Yellow orbs, spoke of her own intention very loudly and the careful shifted steps that pulled herself away from him made it very clear.
She couldn't stay....
As the next few paw steps where taken, Xian felt a sicking drop in her stomach as each taken step seemed more heated on the warm earth then the last. With a turn of her head, she told her self she would one day come back. However, for now-she knew she couldn't stay she had to fallow the little blaze of hope that seemed to remain in Volga. She would do everything in her power to keep that flame alive and do what she could to help it spread. Xian couldn't remain and do nothing, she had to see if Volga had plans for more. How he moved with purpose, and did nothing in retaliation told her that he must have...
If Oni really knew her, he would understand and know where to find her. If at all for one last meeting, something in her soul told her she couldn't remain here...
She trusted Oni would understand, just as she trusted that he really knew her.

►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? Meihui Líng xxxxxx→ Name Meaning || Meihui – “beautiful wisdom”; Líng – "spirit, soul" xxx◘ Personality: Meihui is a very calm and collected b'alam. She always takes a great deal of time before speaking her mind, regardless of what it is she's about to say. She has a very meditative quality about her because it allows her to be closer to the Weaver. When she finds herself at total peace in body and soul she feels as though she can connect to the world around her and guide the Weavers will through her. While she is a very humble spirit she can get quite passionate about matters that are close to her heart. She will still take some time before voicing her opinion, but she speaks with a fierce amount of loyalty and emotion when someone steps on her tail so to speak. xxx◘ History:
The soft sound of bells rang through the cool nights air as the Priestess stirred from her slumber. She was very aware of everything around her but it was the sounds of the bells that drew in her conscious thought. Even before she opened her eyes she felt connected to everything, not on a physical level but a spiritual one. While she wasn't sure of the exact words for what she was feeling she knew it was something much larger than herself and she wanted to be a part of it.
Her eyes opened and adjusted as she took a moment to become aware of where she was. Everything was unfamiliar but that didn't cause her any distress. She was very much aware of the Weaver and knew that he wouldn't have placed her here unless he had cause to. Ears twitched as she caught the sounds of the bells once more and she smiled. Finding the energy to stand she followed the sounds towards the Fire Tribe's Capitol.
- - -
As she learned all she could about the Capitol and the inhabitants of the Fire Tribe her knowledge began to grow and her curiosity expand. She fashioned herself some silk adornments and had someone craft her a string of bells to wear as well. They were the sound she had heard when she had first awoken in these lands and she always wanted to have a part of them with her. The sound was soothing to her as well and also allowed others to know when she was in the area if they wished to seek her out. She never turned anyone away, no matter the issue they wished to speak to her about. She was unbiased when it came to such matters and knew that the ultimate judge was the Weaver himself.
Despite her neutral opinion about many things there was one matter that she couldn't bring herself to let go so easily. A new leader had been found for the Tribe shortly after her awakening and ever since his presence had been known to her she had felt a shadow of doubt that forebode something far worse in the future. What it was, she didn't know but she couldn't sit idly by while the peace and prosperity that the tribe had was ultimately ruined and replaced with turmoil and fear.
Seeking out those that she knew were against Shen Lungs rule she enlisted the service of Venilia and her daughter Asra (both owned by me) to help her locate more rebels. While she believed there was good in everyone she knew that something had to change and someone else would have to rule their Tribe. One night she had a dream of a bird, born of flames and ash that would be the salvation of the Tribe. It challenged the Dragon and the battle was fierce but the fire bird prevailed. It was then that she woke up and knew that something was new in the world. The Weaver had given her a sign. Spreading the news to Venilia and Asra to find out more while she continued her day by day routine she waited for word from them.
A few days later, Iokaste (owned by me) approached Meihui and told her of another, outside of the tribe that was gathering followers of all kinds. It was then that she knew that she must go. She left the Tribe when she knew no one would be looking for her and disappeared into the outskirts. She would find this B'alam with the spirit of the Fire Bird and lead him down the path of righteousness.
xxx◘ Plot Plans: (Explain what you would like to do with this character in the future. What will her role be within the Tribe? What do you hope to achieve with her? Will she start a family? That sort of thing.) She's going to establish a temple for prayer and worship to the Grand Weaver. It will also be a place to seek solitude and refuge. She will allow any and all to enter as it is a place of solace and neutrality and no matter your cause you are welcome within it's walls. Despite her guiding personality she will get stern if anyone causes mischief within her walls, at least if it's anyone besides her. The mischief isn't that of pranks or jokes but of secret meetings held by herself and a select few informants of the Phoenix Army. They will often meet under the disguise of confession. ►Iokaste and Asra will be two of her main supporters While she is a supporter to those outside the walls of the City she will work with Shen since she will need to play the part of faithful servant. She will give him guidance the best she is able without helping him too much as she is honor bound to help all that come to her for aid. Even if it is someone she is helping to dethrone. ►Interaction with Shen is extremely important for her plot wise here. I would like for her to perhaps have him tell only her something and perhaps he hears it from someone else? How will she explain herself? XD I'll guide you. ►She will help mentor the growing leader to the Phoenix Army with all the grace the Grand Weaver has given her. She will teach him to be patient and benevolent, to have honor and chivalry and to forgive those that have done him wrong as it is the Grand Weavers way. While she herself may not condone the actions some have taken, she will listen to their confessions and forgive them all the same. However, if they do not forgive themselves at heart then there is no helping their souls. She will stress that upon him greatly as only a King with the ability to do such things can rule the Tribe honorably. A family affair. ►I would love for her to find her soulmate but then have him be a full supporter of Shen. Oh the heartbreak that will cause her! But she will have to just grin and bear it because of what she stands for within the tribe as one that is bound to the Grand Weaver. I would LOVE for this mate of hers to pass away during the battle (I'm so mean to my balam) but not before she has idols with him. Perhaps one takes after their father? -dun dun dun- But with his death she will be able to move on and find someone who serves the Weaver like she does. <3 I wouldn't mind rebels coming to her for guidance while within the city walls and perhaps someone is caught during this time? Of course she can swear that she is honor bound to hear all confessions and not tell anyone else about them? Not sure how that would work exactly, will have to talk to staff more about it. I did talk to thal about this, she approaches Shen and tells him about a balam that witnessed Paroo and a Lava-Dog fighting and she sees it as a sign that something is about to go down in the future. ►This is when she will first leave the tribe in search of an answer. She will already knew there were rebels within the walls but she wasn't aware of the Army building outside just yet. (these plots ideas are not in order. XD I should put them in order though.....) She will take leave of the city, saying she's going to travel to one of the nearby tribes and seek out some guidance about a priestly matter and she'll use that cover to scout out the whispers she had heard on the wind.

Prompt
She had been watching the small group for some time now, she had heard -- on good authority -- that a miracle had happened outside of the walls, a savior had been woven to save them all. At least that was what she had heard and after seeing everything that was unfolding before her she felt everything she had heard to be true. As she watched the young cub move away from the others as they slept she stayed where she was, just observing him. The night had a cool yet warm feel to it and the stars shone brightly in the sky above as she finally stood up, her bells chiming ever so gently, and approached the young cub.
As she grew near she gave a dip of her head in greeting, the bells chiming softly as she did so, and looked him over as she spoke. "I great you in the name of the Grand Weaver young Lord." Her voice was melodic but held a firmness to it that would tell most she wasn't to be taken lightly. His markings were so peculiar and made her think of the words the Nan had spoken to her about the fight she had witnessed. Either way she knew there was a great deal more to this cub than met the eye. "My name is Meihui Líng and I would be honored if you allowed me to teach you the ways of the Grand Weaver and perhaps I can learn from you answers that have yet to make themselves known to me." She gave a dip of her head and only looked back up when he motioned for her to do so.
She knew there was so much to be done in the coming months and not enough time, but something within her told her that she was needed by this young cub. While she wasn't going to be able to be here all the time, she could easily make her way in and out of the city at least for a some time every few weeks without her absence being noted as alarming. Though she knew she'd only be able to keep up the guise of traveling to other temples for so long. She was sure she could come up with something in time to make up for her time away but for now she needn't worry about it.
She had little time to work with right now but she could still get some work done with the young cub that would prove fruitful in the future. Despite any worry in his eyes she gave him a smile and spoke to him once more. "I can see the doubt in your eyes young one, but I assure you that no matter the worry the Weaver will provide for you an answer and guide those that can help you into your presence, you just need to have faith and all will be made clear in time."

Magus can only use elemental magic, though fire magic is basically the conversion of friction into heat, so if there was an active fire tribe magus yes, they would be able to control fire, as long as their horns remained in tact. Like all magus, using ones elemental magics does take a toll on the user. Using to much of it could take ones life. xxx◘ What is Telekinesis and how to B’alam use it? Its the ability to move objects with one mind. Balam can only use this abbility as much as their physical being would allow them to. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? Qiang Shu xxxxxx→ Name Meaning || Qiang means powerful, energetic strong and Shu means Good, pure virtuous, Charming. So combine them together and you get Strong and Virtuous.
xxx◘ Personality: Qiang Shu has a strong heart, always looking for those who are willing to do the right thing. Qiang does not care much for fighting, but if he feels that his love ones are in harm’s way he will stand to fight. In a fight he may seem distant, but Qiang can be quite calculating as he’s always looking for an opening on his opponent, as his hours at his forge has given him a way to clear his mind from distractions.
He will always ask a series of questions to those who seek him out for his skills in blacksmithing. As he does not want his crafts to do harm, and if he deems you worth of owning his creations he will forge you what you desire. He feels that he has been woven into this world with the sole purpose of finding those with the purest of hearts and helping them to defend themselves against those who wish harm upon the world. Qiang Shu takes this task very serious, as he sees his skill set as giving those who deserve it a surviving chance.
xxx◘ History: Qiang was an eager student willing to learn the craft from Forge. However he seemed to always fall behind the one that came before him, Maximus. Doing his best to win the same approval from his master, Qiang trained every waking moment he wasn't learning from Forge. He did exercises every day so that he could mine more ore. He struggled at first, but soon his hard work began to pay off.
When he forged his first blade he felt a connection to it. Although it was imperfect, just like with learning his craft he kept up with it. Making adjustments here and there until he was satisfied with his first work. He keeps his first blade around as sentiment, as well as a reminder of how much work it took him to become a master at crafting the sword. All the while he still experiments with the craft of the sword trying to find different ways and methods to make them. Once mastered improvements can always be made. It was a bit of a saying Qiang had come to tell himself after finishing a task. With that he began to find ways to improve to do so he started to dabble in swordplay, adding it to his daily regiment. He continued to improve not just with sword making but with other items as well such as armor, and accessories, giving patience to the smallest detail.
As his master became more consumed with his work, Qiang followed letting his own training consumed him, clearing his mind more then ever with each passing moment. It was in these moments where he gain a meaning for his crafts. In the solitude of his work he found that his swords were not weapons or tools, but a means for one to defend themselves, enlightenment was the word. It was after this moment that he began to chose whom he would forge for, rather then taking tasks blindly.
Most of his works became unused or reforged to make improvements to them. His mindset so focused on perfecting his craft as well as strengthening himself, what was set in motion in his tribe was quite overlooked, until it came crashing to him. Forced to destroy most of his work he fled, unwilling to let his work fall into the paws of Shen, and thus his story continues.
xxx◘ Plot Plans: During the War: Although I see him more of a side character who works behind the scenes I would like for him to get into a few battles of his own. Perhaps when his closest friends and Feng are in danger. During these fights I would like for him to gain a few wounds, maybe lose a limb.
After the War: He’d stick around with the fire tribe, after all Qiang does see Feng as part of his family along with the other members. He will stick around and keep an eye on Feng to make sure he rules with a virtuous soul. After the war Qiang will retire from making weapons and armor and focus more on small things like jewelry, things that will not harm others, as he will believe that there has been enough blood shed already. He will also refuse to pick up another sword again.
Love: I do wish for Qiang Shu to find his mated one and start a family, when this will happen it will be hard to tell. I think it might be interesting to have him find love during the war and maybe lose his first love. He’d be reluctant to love again but then finds another who would support him through the rest of his days.
Apprentices: Like his master before him I would like for him to maybe take on a few apprentices and teach them the art of blacksmithing. If this happens during the war he will pass on weapon and armor making however, the apprentices he gains after the war he will only teach the craft of accessories ect.

By some stroke of good fortune or divine intervention, the Bladesmith has managed to escape from the borders of Yǒnghéng Zhī Huǒ.
For the purposes of this prompt, you may RP Volga and Feng Huang. This will not be canon- it's simply to assist your prompt if need be!
His breath was heavy and slightly pained. Every muscle in Qiang Shu's body ached. The burning sensation of his limbs reminded him of his fiery forge. Perhaps this was another trial he was suppose to endure, a trial that he apparently succeeded. The panda marked Tah began to try to stand, however his efforts only left him sitting. The lack of strength he had, as well as his limbs own unresponsiveness to his commands was quite frustrating to the bladesmith.
Qiang tried to speak but his mouth was dryer then the desert to the south, and so no sounds came out. Sucking on his tongue he wet his mouth, there much better.
Once more he tried to speak this time succeeding "Thank you" his voice was rough and a bit gritty from the dryness, but at least he was able to express his gratitude.
Although his mind was full of questions for the Tah, his entire being was still tired, he could feel the exhaustion to his very soul. Having trouble keeping his eyes open his pale golden eyes closed. Sleep, food, and then questions, in that order.
Body collapsing under him, his mind returned to the lull of darkness, feeling a bit of security in Volga's presence. His questions would have to wait to be answered, as rest now took precedence.
(If chosen I would like to rp the rest, so that the many questions he has can be answered properly)

►The Quiz xxx◘ What is the primary trait of the Fire Tribe and what is it used for? Their horns: They help regulate the Fire B'alam's body temperature. They also store heat in case the Fire B'alam are outside of their element. xxx◘ What area(s) can Fire Tribe B’alam not survive in? Cold Climates and Deep Waters. Even though their horns can store heat, they do little to keep the Fire B'alam warm enough in the colder climates. They are also very poor swimmers, so regions with a lot of water is likely avoided by them. xxx◘ Can Fire Tribe B’alam actually use fire magic? No. They can, however, work up a sizable amount of friction to create a fireball. xxx◘ What is Telekinesis and how to B’alam use it? Telekinesis is the ability to levitate items using powers of the mind.The B'alam use it to craft, build, and do various small tasks to go about their daily lives. xxx◘ Who were this B’alam’s parents and how will you explain their absence? No Parents. Created by the Weaver. xxx◘ Who is the current Fire Tribe Magus? Vulkonus & Xiao Fan. HOWEVER, both have gone MIA and thus the Fire Tribe is left without a current Magus. ;-;
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? Ling xxxxxx→ Name Meaning || Chinese: Sound of a bell xxx◘ Personality: Calm. Collected. Moral. Ling is, for the most part, silent and always watching. She finds the entire plot of creation absolutely fascinating and seeks anything and everything that is possibly tied to the Weaver. If there's even a murmur of possibility that the Weaver shows any special interest in a single creation, she's eager to observe and analyze anything and everything she can. Including the young cub that many are beginning to believe was created for the purpose of combating the evils of the world today. She overflows with optimism and does her best to raise the spirits of others, willingly offering her shoulder to lean on when times seem tough. xxx◘ History: This B'alam was woven near the border of the Fire Tribe and it can be assumed that she has heard of the events transpiring within the tribe itself. Other than what's been laid out- the rest is up to you! This is a mental WIP xxx◘ Plot Plans: I plan to continue her on the suggested plan of making her Priestess. Her plot will eventually flow into aiding others into following the path of compassion and honesty. Every one has a choice. Based on how things go during the meta, she'll reflect on her actions and their outcomes to get her to where she is and use those experiences as fuel to further her commitment to her position. Her mindset won't allow much room for any future suitors or bonding as she keeps her focus on putting others before herself, however, she'll be able to welcome and appreciate any sort of joining basing it on what the Weaver had planned for her. Basically, she won't actively search for her other half, however, if they happen to find her, she'll welcome them with open paws. As for a future family and children? At the moment, I don't see her having an deep inner desire to have children. She is completely dedicated to her beliefs and the betterment of the others in her tribe. She would honestly be more eager to adopt newly woven cubs than to go rushing to create newer cubs with her other half. Not to say that she wouldn't! It's just not something that's at the top of her mind at any given point.

For the purposes of this prompt, you may RP Feng Huang. This will not be canon- it's simply to assist your prompt if need be!
Ling had been watching the poor boy train and train until he appeared to nearly break... and then train some more. A part of her wanted to intervene and give him a rest, but she didn't want to impose on what they were doing. It had become clear to her that they saw this young one as their future leader. The were molding him into a proper ruler! Their efforts were a bit harsh at times, but given the situation, she understood enough.
It was a bit surprising to see the boy wander off to the side for a bit of a rest away from the continuous and rigorous exhaustion, but she was glad to see it, none the less. She could tell he was openly welcoming the silence and solitary moment, yet Ling felt the need to talk to him. A part of her nagged at her to question the rising star. See where his motives lie. See how well he fit the large shadow of a profile the others seem to be - in a sense - forcing on him.
Quiet as the smoke on the wind, she approached and let her gold eyes judge his fatigue. Poor thing... "May I join you for a moment?" she asked in nearly a whisper.
Feng looked up at her, only a little surprised that someone was still awake. He had assumed it best to find some solace in the dead of night, but... Well, he'd seen this one off on the sidelines before. She always seemed to watch him from afar. She always gave him (and the others) their space. In fact, she rarely approached any of them, though they were all aware she was there. After a brief moment of seeming to analyze her purpose, he nodded... and she laid beside him.
She stretched her form into the grass beside his chosen boulder and looked up at the stars with him a moment or two before chancing to look at him. She could see his mind whirling, fulfilling him with a purpose in all this, yet still some small bit of confusion, perhaps?
"Are you alright, little one?" she finally asked, breaking the silence around them with a soft whisper.
"I guess." Feng shrugged. "I'm just..." He seemed to take a moment to search for the right words, the right feelings to express. "I'm just worried that I'm not what the others expect me to be."
"You are as you were woven to be..." she spoke soothingly. She saw the small eye roll that followed and chuckled calmly. "Everyone is woven with a purpose, little one. The paths are set with each little string maintaining a purpose. Our colors are chosen and placed with great care by the Weaver's own paws."
"How bright your tapestry shines is set in its threads from the start. It's how you live the life you are given that matters most. Do good - take care of yourself and the others around you - then your tapestry will shine for all to see. However, if you idolize yourself, look down upon others and fail to live life fairly and in unity with others... then your tapestry will age poorly. It'll dull and in time others will fail to see your worth and abandon you."
She looked at him again and tilted her head. "You've heard the rumors, I assume? What is you opinion of him?"
She watched as his face skewed slightly. What kind of a question was that? Still, he entertained her with an honest answer, even if the words were a little hard to find in the moment. "I heard that he's been cruel, using others to set examples and prove his points."
Ling nodded. "Please. Continue." she encouraged.
"His methods are harsh and - based on what I've heard - unnecessary."
Again, she nodded. "You heard Asher's story. How he became blind." She took note of the small pained expression that came over the younger's face. "Were you in Shen's position, how would you have handled the situation? Would you have done the same to Asher as Shen had done? Or would you have treated him differently for being, as Shen had put it, "Weak"...?"
"Asher isn't weak." Ling could tell that she seemed to have struck some small nerve with that one.
"Oh?"
"He's just different. There's nothing wrong with him, he's.... He's Asher!"
"You don't need to say anymore." she started again, cutting him off before she could ruffle his fur any more than she already had. "Your words alone speaks volumes. I'm relieved to see you don't place yourself above others.
"Our destinies were woven together. It was no mistake that we were all brought here to help you." She smiled softly and rose to her paws. "You have wonderful potential within you. We can all see it. When they discovered your newly woven form here, they were filled with hope that all isn't as lost as it has become.
"Just remember that you aren't in this alone. Each of them..." she started then shook her head. "Each of us are with you every step of the way. When you fight, we are all fighting along side you." she smiled warmly then nodded. "Sleep well, little one."

►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? Chyou Luan xxxxxx→ Name Meaning || CHYOU - chinese meaning "sweet Autumn" or "Born During Autumn" or simply "Autumn." LUAN - Chinese name meaning "bells"
Why? I picked this name because unlike the rest she didn't look like she was based on an animal. She seemed more based on a chinese lady. Her colors reminded me of the leaves turning in autumn. The second half of her name is also because bells are important to her and are heavy with symbolism.
xxx◘ Personality:
Gentle, kind and Listens well - The priestess always soft spoken and ever listening. She is forever giving off an aura of kindness. She doesn't want others to feel as though don't matter. Everyone is one of the Grand Weaver's creations and they all deserve respect and to be listened to. She will help others if and when they ask and will never turn any away. Spiritual - Chyou has the utmost faith in the Grand Weaver. Always feeling as though she can understand his great heart even when he does not speak to her directly. She knows and understands he also speaks through others to her. She is always watching for a sign. Chyou is also very intrigued creation and seeks understanding if only to glimpse he who wove it together. Though understanding she feels as though she can see the Weaver if only in all the things he created Motherly/sisterly - The Priestess like this to all, not just Feng. Feng, does get some special treatment when they are in private. She treats all like the brothers and sisters they are. They are all children of the Weaver woven into his great tapestry. Understanding and Patience - she is very much like a mother in this regard with almost infinite patience and does her best to understand all. Poise - this is very much a part of who she is, balanced and elegant in all things. Strong beliefs in justice and morality - She has a strong sense of justice, especially for those who have been wronged. She will do what she is able to right those wrongs. She doesn't believe in killing or murder of any living being. Instead she'd rather try to show them a better way no matter what kind of grievous sin they have committed. Hates Violence - she is not violent by nature and cannot fully understand why things often fall to violence as a solution. The Grand Weaver never wished for such things that much she knows. After all she is well aware of the Grand Weavers heart.
Fun Facts - Floral arrangement - The priestess enjoys arranging the tropical flowers that grow in the fire tribe in unique ways. It's another form of relaxation for her and she hopes it brings beauty and some tranquility all who see. This is something the priestess will discover for herself. She will eventually refine her floral arrangement into a proper art form. - Tai chi - Balam do not know of this yet so she will be the first to create a meditative exercise. She feels the motions of the world around her. The movements are slow and controlled It helps her empty her mind and calms her when she gets upset. This is not used by her as a defensive exercise or Martial art. - Singing - she found out loves to sing when she was in the light tribe after meeting a family of singers (Litonya and her Family). She will often be found doing so. She has been told her voice is very soothing. - The Priestess has excellent balance -The Priestess has a special bell very few can hear It's used as a test of sorts to determine the spirituality of other Balam. - The Priestess is inwardly conflicted during the meta as to why the Weaver will allow such a conflict to begin with. However, she will never show it openly among others. - The place where she met and spoke to Feng for the first time is the same place where she was woven. - She Calls Feng Little Brother and will continue to do so even when he is grown. Though she will call him respectfully if the time and place required. Such as a formal meeting. - Others may potentially see her as mysterious because she seems to know more than she says. However, her great faith in the Weaver make her feel as though she doesn't have to say a word.
xxx◘ History: [This B'alam was woven near the border of the Fire Tribe and it can be assumed that she has heard of the events transpiring within the tribe itself. Other than what's been laid out- the rest is up to you!]
Within the darkness of nothing a beautiful sound echoed in her ears upon being woven. A sound the nan could not simply describe it filled her whole being. She opened her eyes slowly suddenly in a world she was unfamiliar. The sound still ringing in her ears, engraving itself within her mind. The sound she knew was something precious, and pure. The sound was combining with a strange feeling a precious gift from the weaver. That feeling was another thing she could not simply describe or yet understand.
There was silence, the sound vanished but the feeling and memory remained. It was like an intimate voiceless message only for her. Or was it only for her? Was she to share it? Questions began popping up within her. For what purpose was she here? That simple and beautiful sound drove her to the capital she longed to hear it again. Could she? Was there a way? This feeling she felt so strongly still told her it would all be alright, or did she just simply know. It was as though she had a deep connection to the one who had woven her. She could sense his presence in everything around her? There was energy here in this place.
Everything had a purpose. The Weaver had deemed it so, it was as though she could feel his heart and knew it as though it was a part of her. The Weaver touched all his creations...
The nan's golden eyes were drawn to the flaming mountains on the horizon. That place had lost something precious. Deep inside that flaming mountain was the fire tribe, Home of her people. The feeling of such a great loss plagued her. The nan went to the tribe's capital for answers, any clue as to what her feeling could be. She continued to be drawn to the capital, the capital should be a vibrant and busy city should it not? Instead it was almost silent and stagnant there were so few in the streets if any. Chyou saw another passing nan black and orange with a strangely purple tail with ornate horns. Morwen was her name. Seldom did she ever come into the city Morwen had said. The priestess was certain the two had been meant to meet by the Grand Weavers design. Morwen spoke to her of the vanishing magus.
The Magus of her tribe had vanished. Her feeling had been true, such a heavy loss. She began to ask about the old Magus's whereabouts or why he had left them all. The reaction was mixed. Why had one woven by the Weaver abandoned them? Why had he chosen to leave? It was cruel to those who believed in him so fully causing the strong belief to weaken. That belief was even sooner to be shattered by a wicked dragon.
But still before that Chyoi traveled the city. The nan could hear the clashing of metal striking other metal, the sound sounded familiar. It reminded Chyou of the sound she'd heard when she was woven, a bit heavy but it rang when it clashed.
The following I asked for Permission to From Dreamer] She found herself drawn to the dark coated balam named Forge who was melding working the metal. Was it possible to remake the sound from some metal? She asked the great balam Forge if he would teach her how to bend metals. Only if the skill stays within the tribe, was his answer. The priestess agreed. Instead of metals however, she began with clay. A template was needed to begin she knew she dare not waste the metal materials. Having no idea what would make a good sound she began.
Eventually after many expariments she fashioned circular object with a sort of clapper. The object was heavy and the sound it made was less than favourable but it was a start. The first bell was brittle and fell apart after a time. Next she used iron and coppers, before moving to the softer metals like gold and silver. It became her quest to produce a bell of purest sound like that she had heard when she woke. The Priestess even tried different shapes. By the end she had fashioned many small round bells for herself out of gold that jingled beautifully she strung them together on a chains Forge helped her make. Her last bell was her masterpiece. The bell was as close to the sound the nan had heard, it was unlike anything she had made before.
The sound filled her. She wondered if others among the tribe could hear it as well. To her disappointment they could not, the bell only chimed beautifully for her. This would be her test Chyou decided after that must be why the Weaver allowed her to hear it. Her task complete, somehow she found herself staring at the entrance of the capital something was drawing her again. She felt it so deeply. Adorning herself in jewelry with the help of the forgemaster the nan set out to follow her feeling once more. It was drawing her north of the volcanic mountains. Toward the crystal forest and the light tribe that resided within.
xxx◘ Plot Plans: (Explain what you would like to do with this character in the future. What will her role be within the Tribe? What do you hope to achieve with her? Will she start a family? That sort of thing.)
Before The Meta(Backlog RP) ◘ The Weaving - SRP about her creation and journey to the fire tribe
◘ What has happened? - A second SRP with Morwen who speaks to her on the loss of the magus.
◘ Lessons of Metal - an RP with Dreamer's character Forge who teaches the priestess about metal melding and shaping leading to the creation of her bells and jewelery.
◘ Drawn to the Light - Her feeling would begin to draw her to the most spiritual place in the realm the Light tribe capital. Traveling there she would meet the fabric weaver Kashika and befriend her. Kashika will take her to the light tribe temples and show her around. In exchange The priestess will give Kashika the golden rings Kashika has on her horn. In return still Kashika offers the priestess a fine silk fabric specially dyed (the fabric was dyed by Teu [whom I own] of the water tribe. A balam who specializes in colored inks and dyes). The priestess thanks her and after coming to understand the Grand Weaver more deeply from the temples she will return to the fire tribe just as Shen takes over.
During the Meta RP plots
◘ So It begins - Once she arrives back in the fire tribe she must meet Feng and the rest to join their cause and teach the young cub about faith in the Weaver and morality. Basically the Prompt. Everyone else has already joined she will be the last of the main FC's to join.
◘ Old Acquaintances - As others join their cause the Priestess will reunite with Morwen the Balam who told her of the fire Tribes Great loss. It will have been a long time since they last met. It would be another meeting ordained by the Grand Weaver himself. As Morwen Knows much about healing, I'd like the priestess to learn from her about such things along with the other healer as well.
◘ A Question of Faith - As the war drags on between the phoenix and dragon factions the priestess will begin to question the Weavers silence. She abhors violence so how could the Weaver allow his creations to continue to fight like this. However, The priestess knows the Weavers true heart despite the tragedy but that doesn't make her question it any less. However, the result of the meta will speak to her and solidify her faith in the Weaver as they do win so it could only be the Grand Weavers will.
◘ Lessons of Faith - Private lessons with the young leader to teach him about the Weaver away from the stresses of learning tactics or combat. Should his faith be shaken The Priestess will reaffirm it as only she knows how. The lessons would be of a more gentler nature in comparison to the rest however, the lesson too is a hard one to comprehend. For example to accept loss as the Weavers will and continue on as well as trusting in the Grand Weavers tapestry this in itself is no easy task.
◘ True Friends - Among all the testosterone within the loyalists I'd love for the tactician and the Priestess to be good friends despite their differences in approach. This wouldn't stop them from being very close and enjoying eachother's company. This would be more fleshed out once the Event ends but for example Both are equally fond of the seeing the young lord succeed and lead the tribe.
◘ Naming/Blessing Blades - I thought it might be interesting for each blade the weapons master makes to be given a name along with a blessing from the Weaver to make them all special and unique. Each blade is never made the same so it would be fitting. It can also be used as a way to build the relationship between the priestess and weapons master. This plot would be tied very closely to the other FC of course!
◘ Force is sometimes necessary and so is Faith - I would like the priestess and the general to be at odds most of the time due to there even more oppositional nature of their jobs. The priestess who hate's violence will learn sometimes there are things that can't be accomplished with faith alone. Along The reverse would be also true she could show the general the strength of faith and build a relationship with him as well.
After the Meta
◘ Spiritual Advisor to the Emperor - After the war is over she would probably continue to advise Feng spiritually as The tactician would be the main advisor depending on how the story goes.
◘ A Temple of Flame - After seeing the amazing light temples to the Grand Weaver, The priestess will be inspired to create such a place within the fire tribe. She may have to get the help of an earth magus to create and form the main form of the building.
◘ Sacred ceremonies - She will re-establish many of the ceremonies to the Grand Weaver that may lost under Shen's rule. She will also add to them by incorporating some from the light tribe.
◘ A Yoliliztli - With perhaps one of the other FCs? This would have to be worked out Though RP and the other owners. Though she doesn't go seeking her other half they would have to come to her. She has a lot of work to do! Especially with the fall of Shen. Thus why I would like it to be one of the FC's Preferably because they would be with her for a long period of time. Provided it's within the Weavers tapestries. This heavily depends on how the RP Goes.
◘ Cubs - I would love for her at this time once everything has calmed to start a family of her own. She would teach them all about the weaver and how to feel his presence in all things. It would be a nice ending for her if she found her other half and they started a family. This heavily depends on RP.
Extra Stuff
◘ Still Companions - Once everything is said and Done I want her to still have tight interactions with the rest of the FCs and be on good terms with all of them even as their first huge task is complete there are still more things that need to be finished.
~Special RP with Feng~
◘ Always There - No matter how trival his request if he doesn't feel he can talk to the rest the priestess will always be there to listen to him and explain things to him if he doesn't understand. Even for things outside her lessons. Like a Aunt or elder sister.
◘ Lessons - She has much to teach Feng about the Weaver, and she understands her lessons will not be easy she will always be available for him to come and question if he doesn't understand once the lesson is finished. Or perhaps he will gain understanding about a lesson during another task and confirm what he realized with her.
◘ The Value of a Life - This is a special lesson she knows Feng must understand before he can become a fine leader. Even one such a Shen does not deserve to be killed in cold blood despite his harsh and cruel ways. Even Shen deserves a chance at life, he too is the Weaver's creation. This will not be an easy lesson to take for the young Feng.
◘ Doubts - Whenever Feng feels troubled, ot has his doubts the Priestess will try and reaffirm his convictions with a conversation and perhaps a small lesson. She will always listen to him first before speaking.
~Side Plots~
◘ Learning to Sing - While in the light tribe The Priestess will come across the songbird family. The Songbird Family is a family of light tribers Notorious for having beautiful voices and bright birdlike colors. All of whom I own. She will discover her enjoyment of singing and learn from them.
◘ Reading and Writing - I would like someone to teach her how to read and write, This could be a continuation from during the meta depending on how the RP goes. A chronicler perhaps would be a good person to teach her. I saw this RP point in another entry of another FC and thought it would also be good point to incorporate into the priestess as well.
◘ Dancing and Singing - I would like the Priestess to learn to dance from another balam, and in exchange the Priestess could teach them to sing if they enjoy it or another of her hobbies.

►The Prompt

She had returned only to stop short of her destination. This wasn't her true destination was it? Chyou golden gaze fell at the mouth of the mountain which was her tribe's homeland. She felt cold and clammy just looking at it, as though something dark and sinister would swallow her up. A shiver ran up her spine if she were to enter she would never come out. Chyou did her best to shake it off. She had heard terrible thing transpired. How could they? Brothers and sisters turning on eachother? The Weaver didn't want this. Putting her feeling into words was often difficult it was something she just knew. Like each breath she took, each beat of her heart. Regardless, was there anything she could do to stop the fighting and heal the fracture? There had to be, she had a purpose amongst the infinite threads of the Grand Weavers tapestry like any other. Was stopping the fighting her purpose? Chyou learned what she could from the temples in the crystal forest but even then would any listen? Had they become def? Or chosen to ignore the weaver altogether? She had so many questions burning through her mind like the fire that scorched through the tribe.
Her feeling drew her from the capital she dare not enter. The priestess traveled through the tropical brush only to be drawn to a curious party. The feeling of blackness and dread from behind only lifting when she was near them.
"This is what you wished to show me?" she whispered softly like a warm autumn breeze. How could she know she was truly meant to be here? she was still uncertain. No this is where she was meant to be... but why? She still had many unanswered questions.
Silently she watched for many days contemplating in silent meditation. The priestess observed the processes each day as they repeated time and time again. Even from a distance she knew some of the motions that were ongoing. They were preparing, to fight much to her dismay. Fighting and violence wasn't the answer there had to be a better way. Yet something else caught her eye. All gathered around the little cub? Why? Was it the cub that had drawn everyone in? Was it the cub whom she was meant to meet? She prayed every night for a sign from the Grand Weaver, directly or through one of his other creations. Something, anything to give her direction on how she would proceed. She could feel it on the breeze the Weaver was trying his essence was heavy in this place. She continued to feel drawn to this place and those whom resided here. So the priestess remained.
As she continued to observe she realized they were teaching him to fight. These balam here they must be the resistance to Shen's cruel rule. Weaver help us all. There was so much more death coming to the world. There will be so many of your creations returning to you.
Her evening meditation under starlight was suddenly disrupted by the young cub. She could feel the flow of the Weaver change. The cub broke off from the group to lay on a small boulder under the starlight. This was her sign. It was destiny, now was the time. After all this was also the place she had been woven into existence. What greater sign could she ask for?
Rising from her quiet meditation spot the Priestess approached. Graceful and poised the bells jingled beautifully as she padded toward the cub. He seemed burdened with a quiet yet glorious purpose. The Cub didn't seem to be worried as she approached though she was not a very threatening individual to begin with. Perhaps he was sure of his protectors should the cub ever be in real danger.
Pausing a respectable distance away the Priestess regarding the fearless cub. What a strange child, his eyes held much more than she had seen in any she had come across before. She raised her special bell up from the golden string that held it. The cub did not flinch only regarded her with as much curiosity as she had for him. Standing in front of the cub she rung the bell and it's precious sound rang out. Not one yet had heard it's chime, not one.
"What a beautiful sound." the cub said.
Chyou's eyes widened with shocked surprise for only a moment. No one else could hear her bell she had almost begun to believe only she could hear its sound. A gentle smile spread across her face. Any uncertainty she had now washed away by each chime of the bell ringing into the night. Not a word needing to be said, after all the Grand Weaver had already spoken. The Priestess put her bell away still smiling.
Feng, however, was very confused. She'd just shaken a bell at him, why was it so surprising? He remained silent still puzzling and trying to contemplate. This was not like what any of the others had taught him. Who was she anyway?
"You seem puzzled." she said coming to sit beside the child the priestess curled her tail around the rock Feng sat upon.
"You didn't do anything!" came a sudden blurted reply from the cub "I don't understand you seem entirely at ease." Feng then wondered aloud. The female balam beside him seemed very peaceful and soothing. It was strange there was something about her he couldn't quite place.
"Did I not?" responded with a gentle smile after listening to the cub. "You have passed the Weaver's test, and mine."
Feng was then even more puzzled. The Nan beside him had done something. But it was just a bell, she wore many bells. Feng had become even more lost. Feng was about to say something but silenced himself. He really didn't understand. Feng had thought the tactician's lessons were confusing but this...
"I see," she whispered to only the weaver. The cub lacked something very important she realized. Something he could not be without. The Cub was being trained for a great purpose by a brilliant mind and strong warriors. The cub had been chosen by the weaver, but his current teachers had not taught him how to understand the Grand Weaver, not like she could. The question arose had they taught him the value of life? From her vantage it had seemed as though they had only been teaching him only of defeating a great foe. No that would not do... a leader should, no must know the value of all of the weavers creations.
Everything had become very clear. This is why she was here. Woven in this place. Closing her eyes the priestess said a silent prayer she learned while in the light tribe.
"Who are you?" she Cub finally asked still completely puzzled by her strange ways.
"Chyou Luan, little brother." She answered with a little laugh that sounded as sweet as the bells she wore. "The Grand Weaver has told me I am to be another of your teachers."
(This is rather difficult because I have yet to see Feng in RP so I lack a reference for him. I'd also rather RP it out properly if I get chosen.)

►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? Hyun-Jung Seong xxxxxx→ Name Meaning || Varient of Hyeon-Jeong, which means: from Sino-Korean 賢 (hyeon) meaning "virtuous, worthy, able", 貞 (jeong) meaning "virtuous, chaste, loyal". Seong is from Sino-Korean 成 (seong) meaning "completed, finished, succeeded" xxx◘ Personality: •Hyun-Jyun Seong, is very respectful, but at the same time; short-tempered. He won't be the first to step out of place, yet won't tolerate being treated poorly. •Unlike Commander Oni, Hyun-Jyun has a more "positive" outlook towards others and the Fire Tribe; even though his is confused and worried by the departure of both the Magi. He is one to be more trusting of others, until slighted or wronged. He also has hopes that tranquility will return to the Fire Tribe. •Although he tries his best to be laid back an mellow; stress-free if you will, he can be a worrywart at time. Often times, he can't seem to go too long without fretting about something that's on his mind. •Hyun-Jyun is loyal to a fault, especially to those whom developed a deep bond with him. He will follow nearly any command/request given to him, even if it was something he didn't approve of, or didn't want to do; the exceptions being few and far between. Being torn and conflicted, he would still carry out the command, though begrudgingly; he may even avoid doing it for some time. Eventually though, he carries out his orders and does his absolute very best in the endeavor when he finally puts his mind to it. •Once he sets his mind on something like an idea, moral, or even, a decision, it'svery hard to make him change it. Of course, to Hyun-Jyun, the firm stance is for a good cause, but it's not always the case. Sometimes, though he has good intentions, this iron-willed nature of his can be a hinderance. He just needs to learn when is the right time to be obstinate and put his paw down, and when to be more yielding. This also ins't to say that his mind can't be changed at all, it's just a difficult feat; it just take someone diligent enough to take the time to show him differently. •Most of the timee, the general is a very serious Balam. Nearly nothing he says should be taken lightly. He always holds, either, a gruff or stoic expression on his face. That isn't to say he doesn't have fun or smile, it's just a rare occurance. Commander Oni is one of the few to actually see Hyun-Jyun smile. It usually takes a strong bond with another to get to that point for him to get comfortable with another to lower his guard; so to speak, but there are times when he may be a little more fun loving. It just takes some good motivation and some time. •He has a 'guiding paw' to put it one way, a trait he picked up from Commander Oni. He is a good a good teacher, willing to give out advice and knowledge he may have to those who may ask for it. •While not one to admit it to just anyone, Hyun-Jyun has some confidence issues that trouble him from time to time. How this affects him during the meta; he often doubts his capabilities to lead troops of Balams to make an army. Despite having the skill to teach, he was always used to passing on orders from those higher in rank than him; rather than giving them himself. He has lead groups of Balam... never an army. Despite these doubts, he always does his best to display utmost confidence in everything he does. xxx◘ History: When Hyun-Jyun was woven, he didn't really have or feel a calling for anything in particular... besides, get stronger. While remaining in the Fire Tribe where he woke up, he constantly searched for other B'alams; challenging them. Still very new to life and just relying on only his base instincts, he lost a lot of those fights. When questioned, he could never explain his need to be better; it was like a feeling he was going to be a part of something big and wanted to be prepared for it. Urged on by this feeling, as well as, his own sheer determination driving him to continue with requesting fights with others. Fight after fight, he quickly learned from his losses and opponents; eventually starting to win some of these battles. Constantly honing his skills, training daily, he grew stronger and stronger; the only time he stopped building his power was when he hunted or slept. Years after, he begun to win more fights than he lost. He was proud of the strength he achieved by that time, but he still didn't stop issuing challenges, training; growing stronger. One day, while participating in a training spar with one of the B'alam he developed a friendship with; he happened to catch the eye of another wearing armor, who stood and watched the fight silently. Hyun-Jyun, at the time, didn't know it was Commander Oni; his attention focused on the duel. In the end, he had another victory on his proverbial belt. Apparently, the young B'alam impressed the Commander, who offered him a rank in the army as soon as the fight was over. He didn't hesitate to accept the offer one second. Within the ranks of the army, he continued to show excellent skill and determination. The longer he remained in the ranks, the more this felt to be his calling. He was meant to be here, for one reason or another; little did he know, when it would happen, it would turn his life around. Eventually, he found himself in second in command after Commander Oni. He got small troups to lead, ran errands and orders for Oni; life was good. That is, until he was ordered to gather his own army and challenge Shen. xxx◘ Plot Plans:Not listed in any particular order.
Build up confidence- His uncertainty to lead a whole army would more than likely cause issues among his troops; envoking rumors if he really has what is needed to defeat Shen's army. This plot would envoke many different RPs of Hyun-Jyun referring to other B'alam; such as, Volga and the tactician, for advice and support to help build up his confidence and quell this doubt enough that he can lead his troops effectively.
Gather troops- Pretty self-explanitory. Multiple RPs of Hyun-Jyun going out and locating recruits for the new army. Not all RPs have to result in the B'alam joining the Phoenix army either.
Meeting the foe- These would be RPs of Hyun-Jyun running into Dragon army members while on his search. They can end up in a fight, or can just be a political discussion; depends on the B'alam he runs across and how they feel about him and his army's beliefs.
Test Feng, Determine if he's really the one to defeat Shen- This is the plot where, after some time avoiding it, Hyun-Jyun finally decides to see what the young cub can really do. Tests for things, like; strength, courage, and will-power; he will use these to determine if Feng really the one Vulga claims he is.
Hone his own strength- From the beginning, he was always working on becoming stronger. This is no different today. For this plot, I would love to have Hyun-Jyun interact with Phoenix army members for training spars. Maybe even sneaking out of the camp to find lone Dragon army member to fight.
A mate- I would love to have him find his other half, someone to balance him. When he's worrying, she'll ease his fears. When he has his doubts, she'll boost him up, and so on. I see a mate helping him make the changes he needs to lead the army successfully.
Maybe no cubs of his own at all- I can see Hyun-Jyun, because of having to train Feng and an army, not having idols of his own for quite some time; if at all. I can see him taking lost cubs as his own though.
Trying to avoid training Feng, to focus on training a troop member he believes is better- Because of Hyun-Jyun not believing a cub can defeat Shen, as well as, still not wanting to carry out his command just yet; I can see him trying to avoid training the young cub and, instead, finds an adult warrior he deems worthy. He will still give advice and teach the cub, but will do what he can to make sure that the young cub avoids the warfare.

►The Prompt
Prompt
For the purposes of this prompt, you may RP Volga and Feng Huang. This will not be canon- it's simply to assist your prompt if need be!
'How am I going to do this?' Hyun-Jyun Seong questioned to himself, glancing down to the cub that was presented to him. His tail flicks, mildly annoyed. When Commander Oni gave him the order to gather an army, this was not what he expected. Being told, by the ex-bodyguard Volga, that the small cub is to be trained to defeat Shen. As if the general were to really believe that.
"...This must be some sort of crude joke." He stated, glancing back up to Volga, looking for any sign on the others' expression; any clue that the was just a jest. Unfortunately, he didn't get the answer he was hoping to hear. With a shake of his head, Volga replies. "It is not. I want you to take this cub in your care and train him. Is that understood?" There was silence from the general, glancing back down the cub who was watching both adults as they conversed. He tsked softly, closing his eyes for a moment and releasing a slow sigh; lifting his gaze again once his eyes open. "Understood. I will do my best." He gives a respectful nod to Volga.
Returning his attention down to Feng once more, silent once again. Several thoughts ran through his head, stern gaze locked on the young cub while he deems if the boy was really the one to end the fight. Shifting on his paws, he begins to step off; returning to his quest in finding other Fire B'alam to be a part of his ranks. "Come, we have lots of ground to cover." He orders, already having walked some distance away before the cub could say anything in protest. He only stopped, briefly, only to see if Feng was truly following him. Hyun-Jyun's gaze drops down when the boy finally does catch up, not dropping his pace. "So, when does training start?" The boy asked, doing his best to keep up with the adult's hurried pace. His expression didn't change, still rather annoyed at this new order that was dropped upon him. "Hm. First, I believe it is better we gather other Tribe members to our cause. Shen cannot be defeated by just you. You need many others to help support your fight." He explains, making his way further from the Fire Tribe, into the other realms with the cub in toe.

►The B’alam xxx◘ What is the B’alam’s name? Noritaka xxxxxx→ Name Meaning || respect for the law xxx◘ Personality: Noritaka hates the feeling of uncertainty, of not knowing is place in the weave, or in his tribe. He devotes most of his time to filling that gap, which lead him to being a soldier. he felt content getting orders for at first but he's clever and not too stubborn and when he saw a way to make a plan better he'd suggest it. Being apart of the army gives him a sense of belonging, following orders a sense of purpose, leading a sense of freedom. He has very little room for social interactions that doesn't have to do with planning or training. and if initiated by an someone he'll feel awkward and try to politely leave the conversation. This doesn't make him feel lonely or alone since he gas his comrades for any companionship needs. Effectively meaning he totally ignores the call to search for his other half. xxx◘ History: When Noritoko was first weaved he felt alone and lost, maybe that was his spirit calling for his other half, maybe it was just that there was no other b'alam around at the time. But he felt it and that feeling of loneliness and directionlessness stuck with him his his whole life. Joining the army helped but he never forgot. For awhile as a soldier he was content just following orders letting others take control, it was easier. Eventually though his intelligence and capabilities as was noticed by Commander Oni who decided to test the young B'alam to see what he could do eventually giving him harder and more demanding tasks. Eventually the job he was given went off the tracks. The limited orders he was given didn't cover what he now realized he had to do, it wasn't against orders but it did mean he had to make a very important judgment call. This lead to a very decisive win for his side and when he returned from the mission It was decided that he would be promoted to general. He balked at the promotion at first but after assurance that he was more then qualified, he took the promotion as an order and agreed. He flourished more as a general then he would have as a soldier and now with the new upheaval of the clan and the order to leave he feels a duty to do right by his commander. Even though every step with out a clear plan or solid orders sends him back to when he was first weaved and still so lost. xxx◘ Plot Plans: I want to explor him as a person push his limites see how far he'd go for a cause he joined out of a sense of duty. I want to see him change from doing it because he was ordered to doing it because he believes and has faith in Feng huang. I want to build his connections to these people, his new comrades, from being tenuous at best into iron clad bonds he'd never betray. I want him to feel his freewill and not fear it. Building an army is no easy task and he takes his duty with absolute seriousness and I want to see him grow and change as he tries to meet the demands of leading what is basically a rebel army. And when all is settled? when Feng huan is the new emperor and magus, he'll stay as general trying his best to keep the kingdom stable and safe as possible. but for once it'll be for a love of his kingdom and the people, his ruler, not just because he was ordered to. And maybe he can finally relax enough to enjoy the smaller things in life. Like enjoying a day off with friends, or maybe a significant other. And even farther down the lines kids? Though I kinda feel like if I do give him kids I might have him die protecting them, probably going against orders for the first time in his life just to keep them safe. But that would be way down the line.

►The Prompt
Prompt
For the purposes of this prompt, you may RP Volga and Feng Huang. This will not be canon- it's simply to assist your prompt if need be!
Noritaka had spent a few days wandering these woods before he stumbled upon Volga and the kid. He wouldn't say he knew them well but he knew them enough to have place in mind to test the boy. To test the one who says he'll take down Shen. This little whelp of a boy who he was hoping would be the what his commander wanted when he was sent away. He glared at him as they walked silently threw the trees. The kid didn't seem too special. Sure he had a fancy coat but fur markings doesn't make one great. Believing ones self great doesn't make it so either. Shen was a shining example of that.
They were nearing the place. Which was a talk thick tree weaved to be the size of an ancient red wood, but gnarled and wild like an over grown oak. The tree had holes that a cub could break a foot on. Slimy mold that makes for terrible footing and nasty animals that call it their home. It was the perfect test to see how far this kid would go. To see if he has an iron will and fire in his gut. hah, unlikely. Noritaka would bet the kid wouldn't even get a tenth of the way up before quitting. He was obviously spoiled and lead to think he could do great things. If he couldn't even climb this tree, he would be useless.
At the trees base Noritaka turned to the kid sized him up one last time before declaring his task.
"I will climb this tree to a point I deem high enough. You will follow. If you fall you get back up and try again. I don't care how you get to me but you must. There is no time limit if this takes weeks it will take weeks with no break, for rest or food. The test is only over when you succeed. Or give up. Do you under stand?"
Before he got confirmation that the kid was ready for the test Noritaka took off and started his climb. He leaped and scaled the tree with power and grace that came from years of training and experience not a feat he was expecting in the cub. This once a test of will not ability.
When he got two thirds pf the way to the top he stopped and stood on one of the trees branch and stayed there watching the kid and waiting.
As expected the kid failed every attempt to even reach the first branch, his legs to weak to jump, his claws too small to find perches, it was almost laughable if he wasn't the one volgas seemed to want to put all of their hope on. Could he even take that level of pressure? would he snap and leave. Noritaka glared at the cub, did he really think he could take a position stronger b'alam have suffered and fled from? Wouldn't he just disappear like the rest.
Noritaka felt anger boiling inside glaring blaming the cub for him even being her with out any concrete orders to follow. Being told he had to trust a CUB to do something Commander Oni couldn't even do. He paced staring. Watching hoping the kid would give up so he'd have reason for his boiling emotions. But of course the kid kept struggling.
Oh he finally got to the first branch. Quickly getting to the second. Not giving up. How? Why? Noritaka finally sat down and stared. Seeing him slowly gain perches he fought with the desire to see him fail and the hope that he succeeds. ah but now the kid has fallen back to were he started. inevitable. Surly now he'll give up frustrated? No there he goes trying again.
This went on for hours, the kid would climb to a level before slipping back down. He was higher now though then Noritaka thought he'd ever reach, that was impressive on it's own. Really Noritaka thought he'd never make it this long. He was sure the kid would give up. walk away, maybe claim Noritaka to be incompetent at giving tests never accepting the blame. But here he is failing over and over never giving up.
But then it happened the kid was so high up when he next fell, but instead of falling only a few branches like before he fell all the way back down. Noritaka was horrified a full grown b'alam could get seriously injured from a fall like that, the kid must be in terrible pain. He was sure he'd give up now, leave whimper to Volga how he was hurt by Noritaka, how he couldn't be trusted. But instead Feng Huang got back up and shakily tries to climb the tree again. In shock Noritaka only stared. Minutes pass by as he watches the obviously in pain b'alam climb the tree slowly not even getting to the second branch anymore but trying so hard.
Convinced of his will now Noritaka bounded down the tree to stand next to his new hope. he level a stern look not smiling, even if he's decided to help he wasn't going to spoil him. He was going to build him up to be strong and able. He was going to make him someone worth fighting with. Worth following. "Lie down Feng Huang, you are weak and hurt. Rest."
"But I can still climb. this is my test right to prove I'm worthy? I'm not going to stop because of something like this." He pumped his chest ouch and winced.
"Yes Rest now gain strength and try again. But this time I will help you. Train you to be better. We will climb this tree together."
Feng Huang didn't respond right way, he stared at Noritaka looking him in the eye and seeing him. It was a few minutes before he nodded and promptly fell to the floor.
"Good stay here and I will find us food. We will try again in an hour." Maybe he should tell Volga, or maybe not if he has faith in Feng Huang he can trust them to be gone for a bit to train.
