 Lestari huffed as the bag of fabric she was carrying slipped through her fingers, again. She probably shouldn't have been carrying so much, but as always her trips to the fabric store ended with her spending more money than she meant to. At least these things were washable. She bent to pick up the bag and dropped one from the other hand. "Damn," she cursed softly and sighed as she watched buttons and medallions and other findings spill from the paper bag and all over the floor. With a grumble she sank to her knees and started cleaning up, hoping she could get it all up before the halls got crowded.

Strawberri Stardust I wasn't quite sure where you wanted them to be, so I hope still being at the store is okay. =3  Briena found herself at the Fabric Store more often than not for new backdrops and other little things she could make for her still life pictures. So it really wasn't all that odd to find herself here again, a roll or two of fabric for something different. She had a shoot coming up and her client wanted a fun cloth background for some of them and thankfully the store had just the right fabric, not that she was all that surprised, they always had wonderful new things every time she went in.
She happily made her purchase, shifting the rolls in her hand to pull out a few crisp bills and passed them to the cashier. She was glad she hadn't completely overburdened herself this time, and when she was given a bag it was easy enough to handle. She knew she'd be back soon though, there were several other things that she wanted to get but didn't have the cash for currently. As she turned to leave, however, she noticed that a girl had dropped all her things. Frowning, she grabbed up a few of the items that had rolled toward her feet, snatching up as many as she could to help. She walked toward her and carefully handed them back, hoping the things weren't in too bad shape. "I hope you found everything?"

Lestari still had her head down, picking up the bits and pieces that had made up her latest spree, when she heard a voice and noticed someone was helping her. "Oh, I definitely found more than I needed," she said and snorted, emptying her hands into the paper bag and pushing it closer to the one helping her.
She looked up to smile, then grinned a little. She was a very pretty Nightmare and Lestari couldn't help but flirt a little. "I don't think I've seen you here before," she said as she continued to pick up her things. "I really appreciate the help."

Briena couldn't help but muse a little when she heard the response to her question, it almost made her giggle a little. She wasn't asking from a store rep position, but rather hoping that the girl didn't lose everything she had just bought, though she could understand the confusion being that they were in a store. "I meant, I hope you found all your things you dropped?" She offered as her eyes did a quick sweep of the ground, trying to make sure there was nothing still escaping.
Briena tilted her head to the side, her eyes taking a break from looking. She was surprised by the question, though she did admit that she had never seen the other girl in the shop before either. "I come here on occasion, probably not as often as some others. Usually just to pick up some fabrics or tidbits here and there." She managed to snatch up another item and handed it to Lestari. "You're welcome. I would hope someone would help me if I dropped everything." She gave her a smile, not being used to anyone flirting with her she didn't quite pick up on it.

"Oh!" Lestari said and blushed, her cheeks purpling a little as blood rushed to her face. She tried to hide that embarrassing fact by double checking the ground around her. "Yep, I think we got everything," she answered, smiling a little.
The long-haired Litch smiled wider as the other woman answered her question. "Cool. I'm in here all the time," she said. The craft shop was practically her second home, after the Academy. She took the little bag of beads that Briena handed her. "Oh, thanks," she said. She needed the iridescent beads for a project she was working on. "I would hope so, too. Unfortunately not everyone is as nice as we are." She flashed a grin.
"Do you sew, too?" she asked curiously.

Briena actually felt embarrassed that it sounded like she was a seamstress. She didn't want to give the other woman the wrong impression, but it seemed she had done exactly that. She nibbled her lip, shaking her head slightly. "No. I'm afraid not." Her voice sounded apologetic. "I'm a photographer. I use the fabrics as backdrops, or sometimes give them to a seamstress to make costumes and the like. That isn't to say that I couldn't do some stitches here and there if I needed to, but it's definitely not my forte. However, I have a lot of respect for those who can." She added that last bit hoping that she hadn't completely made a fool of herself. She really did have a lot of respect for those who could turn fabric into such beautiful pieces of work. She had always wished she had that kind of talent, but it wasn't something that had ever come to fruition.
