She'd been out on patrol, and it wasn't too long until she found something of interest. A signature pinged on that internal radar, and Harmotome grinned in anticipation as she immediately zeroed in on it. It definitely beat fighting any plain ol' thugs tonight. A challenge was always best. She dropped down from the building top she'd been running along, landing on the paved road below, near the signature, and her grin widened as she laid eyes on the senshi. "Hello~" She purred. "I am going to take your starseed if yuu can not keep it from me." The lieutenant told him matter of factly. She then lunged at him, forcing them in the direction of a city bus depot.

Patrolling was, in Remus's eyes, endlessly dull sometimes. There was so much he could have been doing instead of it that he'd started to view it kind of like homework: something he did because he had to, not because it was actually interesting.
The nights where he found a youma, or someone else to talk to, those were the good nights. But so far, this night was not one of those. Remus had been out for over an hour, and the most exciting thing to have occurred was a bartender tossing out a drunk patron.
That had been almost thirty minutes ago, and the streets were quiet now. Remus yawned, stretching his arms over his head, and debated whether or not to go home.
Something shifted in the air. Remus felt the frisson of a power signature just before a figure dropped down in front of him and then straightened, her grin wide and white in the fluorescent yellow light of the street lamps.
Not a senshi.
"Woah," said Remus, taking an automatic step back, hands held up in a gesture of defense. "Cool your jets, lady, I ain't doin' anything - s**t - "
She'd lunged at him, catching him by the chest, and Remus staggered, crashing against the outside wall of the depot with a loud clatter. He scrambled to his feet, wincing, and thrust out a leg, trying to kick her in the shins.
"Oh, come on now," he said with a grin. "Don't I at least get to know your name first?"

She let out a small grunt when he hit her shins, but it didn't deter her in the slightest. Her own grin widened. "No." She replied, "Yuu must earn it." She then grabbed the senshi by the front of his cloak and shirt, hoisted him up, and threw him over the wall of the bus depot. Harmotome wasn't far behind. She cleared the wall with an easy leap, and landed on the top of one of the park city buses. Her dark eyes scanned the area eagerly, looking for him to see where he landed.

Remus clicked his tongue with a tsk tsk sound that clearly indicated disapproval, but he had not time to make a snarky comment. The lieutenant's hands had seized the front of his uniform, and Remus found himself flung harshly and unhesitatingly over the low wall of the bus depot.
He flew back and hit an empty luggage rack with a resounding crash. It toppled over, Remus rolling, and his elbow slammed painfully into the ground, sending a jolt of pain staggering up and down his arm. A yelp escaped him, eyes wide, and Remus stumbled vertical, arms flailing.
"What the hell, that hurt," he wheezed with a gasp, his arm still ringing. He saw her standing up on one of the buses and ran for her, grabbing the metal sign that had stood atop the luggage rack and flinging it as hard as he could in the lieutenant's direction.

"Tat was te point---" She replied, amused, and found him---only a moment too late. "Ack---" There was the satisfying thwack as the metal sign struck her. Harmotome toppled over the edge of the bus, landing between it and another on the pavement below. Oh ho. The lieutenant wasn't down for long though, and immediately shifted into a crouch, briefly noting that the sign at left a nice tear in her jacket top. "Tis one is fun~" She murmured under her breath, and crawled underneath the bus she had previously been on, taking cover behind one of the wheels, waiting to see if he'd come this way to get her.

Remus let out a joyful shout as the sign smacked into the lieutenant, pumping a fist into the air. It was like playing a game of whack-a-mole, only in a movement, and he skirted around the bus she'd toppled off of, trying to find something else to throw.
He finally plucked up a stick that looked as though it had been part of the same metal luggage rack he'd collapsed onto and held it like a bat, Remus edging towards the spot where he'd heard her fall.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are..."

Ohhh, little senshi got himself a stick, now too? Harmotome tensed, ready to pounce from behind the wheel. Her grin was huge, and her eyes were widening much like a cat's in anticipation. Once he was close enough, she shot out from underneath the bus, and tackled him around the mid-section. She was hoping she'd catch him enough off guard that he wouldn't have time to swing that stick in response.

Remus did not have time to react fast enough.
The Lieutenant came lunging out at him, and he gave a shout of surprise just before her arms came around his waist. Propelled backwards, Remus staggered and fell, crashing into a bench with a crack against the front of it that made pain scorch up his ********!" he screamed, jabbing his knee up to catch her in the stomach. "Get - off - of - me - you - b***h - "

She laughed, but the knee to her gut made the laughter cut short. The air in her whooshed out, but she stayed straddling the senshi---especially now that she literally had him right in her grasp. One hand reached to twirl a lock of his hair about her finger, while the other slid along his jaw, only then to forcefully tilt his head back--- Complete with an energy drain. "Oh, yuu are so pretty~" She leaned over him, grinning.

He was struggling madly beneath her, unwilling to remain still. Remus had had too much experience in dealing with people taller and bigger than him, and he at least knew how to get out of certain situations - just apparently not this one.
She was playing with his hair in a gesture that was momentarily reminiscent of that kid Ilian, and then a second later, running her hand down his face in a gesture that was reminiscent of Apatite before she'd kissed him; a confusing mixture of two things that should never, in Remus's opinion, be mixed.
"Yeah," Remus grunted, feeling the pull of energy. "Pretty damn better than you."
He did the only thing he could and swung his fist to slug her in the face.

Crunch. That was the sound of his fist hitting her square in the face, and the force had rocked her torso back a bit---but didn't dislodge her from her perch. Aurostibite wasn't kidding about these boosts. Even if she was no where near the general's level, she was marveling at the fact that the punch didn't break her nose. It stung with pain, and her vision had some spots in it, too, but enough training and power had kept her solid. It still bled though. She could feel the hot rush of copper down and over her lips. Oh well. Powers couldn't exactly stop bleeding, hm? She leaned back over him, wobbling a bit, and some drops of blood fell on him. "No. See. I vill have to disagree." Her hand left his hair, raised, and then unceremoniously plunged into his chest.

He'd forgotten about the damned strength the Negaverse had, and his punch to the lieutenant's face, while landing straight on, did not push her away from him. Remus ignored the throbbing of his fingers and something hot dropped onto his face - blood from her nose, sliding across his cheek.
"Gross," Remus hissed. "Get off me you s**t - "
But the next second, every single word disappeared because the lieutenant had just sunk her hand into his chest, and he froze completely, hands braced against her shoulders, eyes suddenly huge. For the first time he was at a loss for words, staring at her as a ripple of fear traveled its way down his spine.
"Don't," he said, and his voice was flat, quiet, a single word. "Don't."

During this entire encounter, her grin had never left, but now---now it was at it's pique. Ear to ear, and like a cat who got the cream. She could feel it, right under her palm. The star seed. His life. She was literally touching his life---it was in her hand, and she could end it. There were no words to describe the thrill she felt. Truly, the Negaverse was what she had been yearning for when she felt at a loss. The lieutenant reached, and caressed the stone, almost lovingly, and did nothing more, for the moment. She cocked her head to the side, her eyes lidding as she peered down at him. "Oh, do not?" She echoed, amused. "Yuu know vhat tis means? Ja?" Her other hand remained grasping his jaw, firm, but not suffocating, and she lightly tapped her index finger on the skin. "Vhat did I tell yuu earlier, hm?" She purred. "In case yuu forgot---I said I was going to take your star seed if yuu vere not strong enough to keep it from me."

It was a sensation like he'd never felt before - and never wanted to feel again in his entire life. The lieutenant's hand was wrapped almost lovingly around his starseed - he could feel her grasp, could feel the shifting of her fingers as much as he could feel his heart, slamming against his chest.
He resisted the urge to bite her hand. Remus stared up at her, still frozen in place, a sense of dread trickling into his awareness.
What was it that Michael had said? Something about him not understanding what he was getting into?
"Don't," said Remus again, too quickly, the word rushing out of him, and he swallowed, thinking hard and fast. His mouth, of course, moved quicker than his brain. "I'm no good to you dead, come on. I'm just a little ole' senshi, I won't be good to you without this thing."

"Telling me vhat I should not do only makes me vant to do it more." She teased, but was rather serious, too. She caressed the stone again, but her fingers started to wrap around the stone, now. "Ah, but vhat yuu do not understand, is tat yuu are actually better to the Negaverse dead." She informed him matter of factly and cheerfully. "I can pluck your star seed, and hand it over as my spoil of victory to my General, who vill in turn feed it to Metalia for energy---" Here, her hand had enclosed entirely around his star seed, and she could feel the energy pulsing in her hand. It was glorious. "Or I can keep it for myself. A memento of yuu." She smiled at him. "To give me even more strength as I take down another of your kind. I can consume it, yuu know?" Her fingers started to squeeze. "Vhat is your name?"
