Hobbies:
Gardening - Kain’s interest in gardening stems from the times when he would spend hours helping his mother tend to the garden over the course of his childhood. He is pretty good at this and will make it a point to go to the net or library to read up on it. There is nothing more satisfying to him than watching a plant develop from a seedling and eventually bear flowers and fruits.
Playing the guitar - Kain’s guitar is a birthday present from his parents when he turned 15. He is rather adept at playing it given the music lessons that were taught at school, the time spent at the school guitar club with like-minded peers and the resources available on the internet which he used to teach himself. He is pretty good at singing as well and it is a secret wish of his to serenade the girl of his dreams some day by singing and strumming a self composition that was dedicated to her.
Virtues:
Allocentric - Ever since he was a kid, Kain had always been thoughtful of the people around him and acted or made decisions with their needs and preferences in mind way above of his own. This is extended to everyone he comes across though his immediate family members and close friends do take precedence over mere strangers if things ever come to that.
Gallant - It doesn’t matter if it’s a little girl or a little old lady. So long as the other person is of the fairer sex, Kain will see to it that she is treated with the utmost respect and politeness. He doesn’t do this in order to earn a lady’s good graces for the purpose of furthering an ulterior motive like some men. He is like this because he believes in what he was taught by his father from young that it is the moral duty of men to protect and honour all females especially his mother and, some day, the girl who would be his lawfully wedded wife.
Flaws:
Distractible - Kain has a single track mind and doesn’t do well with multi-tasking at all. He works best when doing one thing at a time and it is not uncommon for him to forget to get back to what he was doing originally when something unexpectedly happened to draw his attention away from it. He also doesn’t work well in a noisy environment as he has a tendency to listen in to other people’s conversations that are taking place around him even if he tries his best to shut them out.
Mawkish - Kain is the type of person who tends to let his feelings get the better of him. His choice of actions is easily swayed by his current state of mind. So much so that he will do everything when he is over the moon in contrast to being unable to properly take care of himself when he is distraught or upset over something. This can be triggered by an event that has recently happened or even a past memory of it whenever he sees a place or object or individual that is associated with the memory itself.
