WELCOME TO ROUND THREE!
Aurostibite and Xenotime have congratulated you upon making it to round three of the tournament! The rules this round are the same as the last!
OOC RULES:
- You have 72 hours to complete the battle! If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.
- If you have any questions, please contact either Beejoux or kuropeco privately through AIM or PM!
THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!

Typhon was pumped up after the last two battles and ready to kick some more a**. He cracked his knuckles as he stared down his opponent. "Let's fight, bro!" he shouted out with excitement.

Moonstone had missed Typhon's second battle, but she was not about to miss a chance to heckle the blue-haired shitbird of a corrupted senshi as he fought his third round. She was still in a good amount of pain, but had crunched two starseeds to set her bones to healing quickly; the taste of the crystals under her teeth and across her tongue was unpleasant and sharp, the feel of life energy being spread through her body in such an unnatural way was even more so, but she was willing to do what was necessary. Had her clavicle not been broken, had Typhon not nearly sheared her spinal cord with that final punch, she might not have chosen to ingest the star seeds - there was always the danger of becoming addicted and driven to madness, as General Obsidian had been.
"Kick his a**!" Moonstone called out to the brunette; she had seen Haüyne in action before and knew that the corrupt was a wild card with a rather...interesting sense of humor, but there was little else that Moonstone could have claimed to know about the super senshi. Still - against Typhon - the Captain would cheer Haüyne on with vim and vigor, hoping to see her former opponent defeated in a most glorious of ways. He's garbage, vile and rude. Oversexed and obnoxious. Break his neck, senshi. Crush his voice box so no one will have to hear his stupidity ever again.
242 Silent Spy Congrats on making it to round 3~

CHECK IT! Another corrupted senshi! And a pretty rad looking one two in tattered blues and neutrals. Seemed to have a lot of energy, too. The tourney was already a blur of colors, blows, and pleasant cheering from the sidelines. 'Typhon' sounded a pretty damn cool call name. Sorta like typhoon, but with the shorter sound making it a little ominous. Gonna have magic to bring to bear like I do, other than fists and elbows and all the. Cool, yeah. Cool. We got this. Sad not to have the time or energy to spectate every single one. Really, the refs had it the best. Haüyne saluted across to the other, replete with a lopsided grin. "You got it! If the ring's a rockin', everyone will come a knockin'." The shout from the stands was pretty fantastic- which of them did that captain mean? Or maybe the answer was yes, and they just wanted both of them kicking each other's asses to kingdom come. Rugby was popular for lots of reasons like that. And the UFC. Why not here, too?

General XenotimeSeated not that far away, Xenotime drew her attention away from the pair of corrupts coming together in the ring, and instead turned it on Moonstone as the woman cried out in support for the senshi of execution. She was Typhon's first opponent, and had seemed incredibly unhappy to have lost to the blue haired menace. Smiling, the general leaned back in her seat, one leg lifting to cross over the other, hands folding over her knee. "Very spirited."

Corrupt Haüyne of ExecutionIt seemef like starting full steam, with such an equally high energy opponent, was the best choice. Haüyne took off full tilt and aimed for a body check of some sort. Really whatever hit where was okay. "Game on, bud!" __________________________ 30 HPRoll 1: 8-2 = 6 dmg

Spectator - Pyrophanite
Pyro had moved from her second round, where Haüyne had taken out the other captain and was surprised that this round seemed to be against another taller figure. Or what he assumed since the form was a bit taller and emitted a different sort of wave of heat. Like he could tell Haüyne from a mile away but...this other person?
He wondered what they were like.
"Hey, Whose Haüyne fighting?" The half youma spoke to the person nearest to him, who happened to be Moonstone, pointing out to the field where the two corrupts were.

Xenotime was there again, seemingly for Typhon, and Moonstone gave the General a short nod before being distracted by a half-youma Captain's question. "His name is Typhon. He was my first match and he tried his best to kill me." Despite the rules stating otherwise. Despite her obvious distaste for the blue-haired corrupt, her tone held a grudging amount of respect; Typhon was a vile creature in Moonstone's eyes, but he was effective and she could respect that.
Didn't mean she wouldn't have lynched him if given the chance.
"I am here to cheer on Haüyne as well." It was a good match, two wild beasts in senshi form, coming together in a violent clash. Would magic escape the ring, or had Aurostibite and Xenotime taking steps to assure such a thing would not happen? Typhon hadn't cast on her, so there was no telling.

Corrupt Haüyne of ExecutionHe was certainly fast and maneuverable, and handled a hit without complaint. A counter right away that jostled and knocked Haüyne's own jab off course and eating air. Hits pleeeenty good. Yes. Plenty. Butt kickin' might ne a tall order. ... __________________________ 25 HPRoll 1: 8-2 = 6 dmgRoll 2: 2-2 = 0 dmg

Corrupt Haüyne of Execution"Fwah-!" Another heavy hit, but at least this time Haüyne kept it together enough to swat at the ankle of the offending appendage. Maybe try to throw him off balance or something as the shindig wore on. So I said to my self, 'Self. Get back in the game already.' Hup two huptwo. And through and through. __________________________ 20 HPRoll 1: 8-2 = 6 dmgRoll 2: 2-2 = 0 dmgRoll 3: 5-2 = 3 dmg

Corrupt Haüyne of ExecutionThis time there wasn't enough air in lungs to make noise when the guy's fist connected into side and lung for another pretty balls-on-banister doozy. A crowhop to the side requisite to not pitch over, and Haüyne tried to land one of the same on him. One for one isn't really gonna do it when I'm already behind. Hey zeus and harmony and all that. Wonder how long he's been doin' this kinda thing. Longer than me, def. __________________________ 14 HPRoll 1: 8-2 = 6 dmgRoll 2: 2-2 = 0 dmgRoll 3: 5-2 = 3 dmgRoll 4: 7-2 = 5 dmg
