WELCOME TO ROUND THREE!
Aurostibite and Xenotime have congratulated you upon making it to round three of the tournament! The rules this round are the same as the last!
OOC RULES:
- You have 72 hours to complete the battle! If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.
- If you have any questions, please contact either Beejoux or kuropeco privately through AIM or PM!
THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!

He was sore and advance once more, he wasn't sure it was really a good thing or not because he was going to feel it in the morning and for a lot of morning. Entering the room, he saw his opening another girl, who didn't bother introducing herself, which was fine he didn't bother either. He smirked at her, an almost feral grin, predatory. Honestly just trying to unnerve the girl. If it worked maybe he could throw her off her game. She probably was a decent fighter, if she made it so far. That or she fought against people not taking this seriously. "Alright, guess this is round three huh?" He took his stance and raised an eyebrow at the girl.

o god i can't believe i made it this far
Sarabauite fiddled with her glasses, unsure what to make of this sudden change of expectations. Her fight against Serpierite was different than her first; there was more blood and, scarier of all, the lieutenant had taken it in stride. To her, it was an unnerving experience, and a scarier revelation.
"M-maybe I was made for the Negaverse after all," she muttered beneath her breath as she strode out into the arena for round three. To her opponent, she offered the most strained of smiles, and said, "L-let's, uh, give it our all?"

Deep breaths, Jinxi. You can do this.
Again, the lieutenant was frightened to attack. Not because of her inability to hurt her opponent, but her own intentions regarding the action. Summoning her metal bookmark, the girl thinned her lips, and raced out toward Witherite; fingers tight against the small piece of metal and heels clacking against the arena's floor.

Witherite grinned with the other took right off and went on offense. Maybe this one would give him a run for his money. She surprised him right away with the metal bookmark, he hadn't been expecting the use of a weapon, so the weapon scratched his face, really good despite his attempt to dodge. He didn't bother with his own weapon. He really disliked the little plastic toy, finding the thing more useless than anything except maybe for throwing. If he aimed well enough the thing really stung. It was funny to see someone hit square in the face with it. He spun and tossed a punch at the girl, "good start," he said in the motion. HP: 17 DMG: 1

Witherite's knuckle slid sharp against her skin as the punch made contact, causing Sarabauite to hiss at the pain. She jumped back a small distance from him and fixed her crooked glasses, a chagrin playing on her face.
"Good start as well," she said behind the glint of her red frames, coming at him against with her bookmark. "S-sorry for just getting into it, though! Kinda want this over with ASAP."

"Trust me I understand. This has been an experience for sure. I accidentally broke my last opponents arm. Not what I was expecting today." He didn't really want to put to much distance between them because he didn't intend on using his weapon and he was a close range fighter. What fun, made for a nightmare with some senshi, but that was okay. He frowned deeply when she came at him again with the bookmark, the thing slicing him arm and tearing the skin. Little droplets of blood bubbled to the surface and dripped from the small ******** hell, quit it with the damn metal," he growled spinning on his heal and throwing a kick at the girl's hip. He didn't really like the idea of being all cut up at the end of this round and that seemed to be the girl's intention. HP: 12 DMG: 5

There was satisfaction in seeing the blood form from Witherite's arm. Not because she was any bit sadistic (in fact, the sight drew no reaction from her), but it felt deserved.
He seemed, well, a little rough around the edges. Jagged, even.
Sarabauite grunted at kick, pain radiating up from her side like blistering static from the bone upward. She tried to think back to her first battle, when Arseno grabbed at her leg, but couldn't play the same tactic here when she stumbled. However, one thing she dare not do—her bookmark did not leave her hand. In fact, her grip tightened around it, as if it were her only anchor to this fight.
"S-sorry?" the girl cried as she tried to stab at him again, and failed. "But we're, uh, in the middle of a battle, so I really can't?"

Wither frowned deeply at her, yes they were in a battle, but that didnt mean he couldn't be extremely annoyed by her tactics. He also had to admit he was slightly miffed that her weapon was better than his, at least it was metal. It trumped plastic toy wrench for sure. "Fine, have it your way," dodging her swing with the bookmark, balling his fist up and making to uppercut the girl. He wasn't going to let her cut stab at him with the silly weapon and he wasn't going to get all scratched up. She could keep at it, all she liked, he was just going to kick her butt solidly for it. Witherite's uppercut hit her square in the jaw, eliciting a sharp cry that sent her tumbling to her butt. She was dazed for a moment; head reeling as she felt something warm drip from her lips. When gathered herself, she touched a fingertip to them, and blinked at the sight of red. It seemed she bit her lip when she fell.
Thumbing the blood away and then spitting to the side, Sarabauite frowned at Witherite and stood. "Nice hit," she complimented reluctantly. Unfortunately, her attempt at sounding tough was more of a whine.
Narrowing eyes, she ran up to her opponent again, and used her bookmark to slash at Witherite multiple times.
Tit for tat, she thought, hoping to draw more blood.

It was satisfying to watch the girl go down and to draw blood. It was nothing like the terror of breaking your opponents arm. This was oddly less of a feeling of doing something wrong, not to mention, she had drawn blood first. Wither was barely able to dodge the barrage of hits aimed well pretty much everywhere. He stumbled backwards trying to dodge as she attempted to scratch him up. The swings that caught his clothing where no big deal, but he was caught over his ear and cheek producing angry red marks, the one on his cheek seeping small drips of blood. A few more caught him on his arms, lucky they were just scratches. They stung like hell. At least the scratches might help with whatever lie he fed his fiance, when he came home looking like he'd been run through the ringer. Did make him like it anymore. HP: 7 DMG: 3

Sarabauite could only stare on at the red that encompassed the man. With lips turned up to the side, she grunted through his next attack, and felt a waver to her legs that, unfortunately, had become a common trend throughout her fights. It felt like the end was drawing near, though to say who would fall first was still up in the air.
So, as it was the only thing she could rely on, Sarabauite weighed on her bookmark again to bring this to an end as quickly as possible. However, instead of slices, she tried jabbing.

With the barrage of jabbing Wither had to give in and summon his own weapon, the stupid plastic wrench of only to try to dodge some of her attacks. He felt she was crazy and didn't really like the fact that she was relying on her weapon so much. Though that was half because he never used his and knew their was more to all this than that. He managed to dodge a few jabs, deflecting them with the wrench, but several landed causing him to grunt stumble in his attempt to dodge. The girl didn't seem to be letting up. He was growing angrier and frustrated. He reached out to grab her jacket, with the intent to punch her hard in the gut, but in his anger he started to shake her hard. HP: 4 DMG: 1

"I— Wha— Whoa— S-stop!"
Sarabauite's whole world was a joggled mess as she was shook, unable to process just how to get out of this bind. Her bookmark fell from her hands as she tried to push him off, but her lack of strength only left her at slight nudges. Eventually, an alien anger overcame her, and her face fixed into a grim frown.
As he had did to her before, she used her close proximity to deliver an uppercut akin to the one she received earlier.

She punched him right in the jaw and he saw stars, releasing her,stumbling back and falling right on his a**. He glared at her, he gaze pretty murderous. He was not a good sport at all and wanted to literally tear the white locks from her head. His temper was nothing if not volatile. He stood from his place on the floor, fist balled and shaking. He was done, if he kept going he was likely going to really hurt himself and the girl in front of ******** idiot," he growled lowly looking over his arms, before wiping the blood from his face. He turned and walked off fuming, not leaving but seemingly going to, "my fiance is going to s**t bricks ... look at my damn face ... I need damn something. This is just flipping great." He wasn't paying the girl any attention anymore and didn't offer any real sort of congratulations or even acknowledgement that she won. Good sport, yeah, not really. Unoderi Congrats! Don't mind my a*****e ... he's such an a** -___-; ... frienemies XDD maybe
