Personally, I love to write poetry, have completed some short stories & am working on some others, and even occasionally will write an essay on a random topic just for fun.

I used to write. Mostly for fun. Me and my sister had our own guild where we wrote little short stories about a fictional character I made up called pineapple hero

Writing is my favorite thing smile I like writing poetry/prose, and also stories and songs. Right now I'm in the middle of trying to write a story but I'm terrible with coming up with plots. I have the characters, theme, and setting in my head but I don't know what to do with it yet.

QueenNanami I used to write. Mostly for fun. Me and my sister had our own guild where we wrote little short stories about a fictional character I made up called pineapple hero Haha that sounds cute! And who knows, maybe you'll pick it up again in the future? I've been pretty on-and-off with writing stories myself

SariaLon Writing is my favorite thing smile I like writing poetry/prose, and also stories and songs. Right now I'm in the middle of trying to write a story but I'm terrible with coming up with plots. I have the characters, theme, and setting in my head but I don't know what to do with it yet. Oo, what's the story about? Personally, I have the most trouble with setting. I'm great with characters, I know what I want to happen, but it's all the background details that are the most work for me sweatdrop

Haha I feel you, I did nanowrimo this november and it took like 80 k to get the plot even rolling and then I have the problem of too many plots. And of course none of them get attention cause I'm a terrible writer but whatever sweatdrop

I know those are big concepts to form a plot around though. My thoughts tend to be more abstract than linear too so it's a struggle. It's frustrating because I have a clear setting in my mind and how the characters look and their personalities but that's all I have xd

I love to write. It's a big part of how I release stress. Although it's been a while, I used to role-play here on Gaia but the community there has gotten really toxic lately. At least, it seems that way to me. Like, if you don't have a particular style or write a particular length-- whether short or long-- you're an unlovable idiot who must be shunned. It's unfortunate because, truly, all writing styles have merit and can be enjoyable. Just because you prefer something doesn't mean others' preferences are stupid.
So I'm writing with and for myself for right now. I've been working on a story on and off for the last year about dragon riders and guardians. So happens that I just deleted and rewrote the first chapter because I hated it. This, of course, means I need to go back and rewrite the rest because now it doesn't match. I'm okay with that.
