Age: 27
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Occupation: Pirate - serves as the navigator for a fairly small crew that isn't well known but almost is always successful
Appearance:

⁃ Hair: Silky black and long. Usually it is tied back to make it easier for him to deal with.
⁃ Skin: Tanned from a lifetime on sea but only lightly since he once was so fair.
⁃ Eyes: Bright green - a scar on the edge of his left eye where he had just barely missed losing that vision.
⁃ Height: 6’3” - could be viewed as a swimmers build
⁃ Weight: 170 lbs - a bit lean for his height but really not a whole lot of muscle on this one
⁃ Clothing: Dark blue peasant shirt under pinstripe vest. Black gloves. Weathered dark blue pinstripe pants and scuffed old black boots with faded gold trim. Belt over his hips for a little - extra - ‘protection’. Shackles around both wrists for chaining up slaves to take back to the ship. A beautiful swindled sword.
Most often found: Sailing the open seas.
Abilities & Weaknesses: His strongest asset is his mind: He is smart, too smart for his own good really. This often proves to be a weakness as well as a strength. His incredible sense of direction is spot on and comes in handy quite often. He is also terribly agile and clever. However, he has little more than average strength for one his age, maybe even a bit under. Braun is something he was not gifted with in the slightest. His brash attitude makes it far too easy to rile him up and press his buttons.
Personality: He is intense to be around, and incredibly draining to those who are not used to his high level of energy. It takes everything to to try and hold him back from just the slightest hint of adventure. He is daring and dashing, and never one to back down from a challenge if it could even prove the slightest bit fun. This is often his downfall. He can be quite haughty and lord it up over everyone except his Captain. He has no qualms about slaves, nor about capturing them and literally chaining them to his handy dandy shackles.
Back Story/Character History: Originally born to an upperclass family, this young boy knew what it was to go without want. His father was a businessman who handled port affairs while his mother took care of him and his two sisters, one older and one younger. As the only boy born to the family Orynoko was treated as if he was the greatest gift to the world. Such encouragement nurtured his natural cleverness and intelligence. He took to maps and navigation so well that it wasn’t long until he had finished all the books they owned on maps of their known world.
Tragedy struck one night as a band of pirates plundered their town, and of course, his home was a main target. His family was quick to hide him in a very elegant box knowing well the pirates would take this with them and in turn, give him a chance for escape. Orynoko had the misfortune of listening to his family being slaughtered and of course, just as they had assumed, the box was part of the loot captured and taken onto the ship. Unfortunately he did not get the stroke of luck to escape before they opened it and found him.
The Captain was not a terribly cruel man to children and so he gave the lad a chance to prove himself useful. They needed a cabin boy as their previous one had gone overboard under mysterious circumstances after a spat with the crew. Orynoko rose to every challenge and soon they discovered his incredible sense of navigation and put him to work. He grew up "loving" his pirate family and lifestyle, but deep in his dreams, he still remembers the love of his birth family.
