Do you guys have any ideas on:
- ways to get more members - ways to make this guild better - ways to keep it interesting that would make it better for you guys? - events or activities you like to do? - offsite groups you want made? - things the thread needs?

Hm, there are plenty of ways. But rather than tell you all the many ways I'd rather show you. Actions speak louder than words. So I will continue to post content I think will be beneficial. If you need anything from me simply ask.

There are many ways to do just these things. o:
Getting more members: Post in the guild forums stating that you're looking for more members and have the banner with a link on your profile as well as in your siggy. This'll make people look twice. You can also make a competition to see who can get the most people to join. For example we make groups of people and each group makes a guild forum post about wanting to get more people. The group that gets the most people to join wins. By making it a competition you have more chance of getting people involved, you just have to worry about the prizes.
Making the guild 'better': Keep doing what you're doing. Right now it's a friendly environment for us all and I'm glad it's not in any kind of structure with sub-forums etc. You just post any where and that's a very free feeling for a guild to have. Keep that up!
To keep it interesting: Make contests for members to join with prizes for the usual first, second, and third places. From there you can also do meet ups in rally or do Skype calls to get to really know one another. Constantly keep everyone updated with group activities and send out announcements weekly to keep everyone active.
Hope that helps!

Subforums, they help wrangle topics (though I wouldnt recommend a ton) Using *stickies* to keep important topics at the top of the forums, etc. Having a "crew only" subforum so crew can talk about ideas and worries etc that they dont want everyone in the guild to be aware of--when I think of more stuff Ill post again lol

Subforums would be helpful. I mean you could make the argument that not having it structured is freeing, but it makes it look more looked after and just means all the threads much easier to find rather than going through pages of the main forum if it becomes very active. Structure isn't a bad thing, it's far more practical. This set up also just doesn't look nice.
They don't have to be strict or that many of them, but even simple things such as -a chatterbox, -discussions, -roleplay, -life, -media (movies, shows, games, etc), -beauty, -health, -and maybe a posting games and contests subforum.
These would be helpful and make the place look more inviting and well-rounded. You could even keep the main forum open to posting whatever as well, but having some sort of structure is relatively important to a successful guild and community. A lot of people get turned off of guilds that don't have any sense of organization. People are less willing to chat and be a community when they have to go digging for things instead of having them all laid out and pretty.
I've run successful guilds before and this set up just doesn't work for long. I myself am hesitant to really post anything until there is some sort of structure.

theVolatile Do you guys have any ideas on: -ways to get more members - ways to make this guild better - ways to keep it interesting that would make it better for you guys? Donated a little over 10,000,000. Please use exactly 10,000,000 to make art contest then reward money goes to winner. This should hopefully help encourage some of our artists.

on the topic of a contest... we should put one up outside of the guild have it be for grahics or art of a guild mascot maybe? then it can draw in more members too! 3nodding

Also... i have a suggestion on the directory idea. this is what I would use as the form and then just post everyones info(that they give) in one list in a thread someplace.
Email: Other Websites: SITE(username) Messengers: TYPE(screen name), TYPE(screen name) GamerTags: TYPE(name), TYPE(name)
and then id put an optional section to state if they are open to sharing phone numbers since you wouldnt want that info in a thread. 3nodding
