WELCOME TO THE TOURNAMENT!
The tournament is taking place in the Castle in Negaspace, in a large room that has been designated towards the event. It is very spacious and there is a ring where the participants will fight, as well as seats around it for viewers. You are greeted by General Aurostibite and General Xenotime, both of whom are standing off to the sides to monitor.
The rules are simple: fight your opponent using whatever methods you have available to you - physical strength or magic - and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner! Aurostibite adds, in a tone of voice that doesn't quite indicate whether he's joking or not, to please try not to kill anyone.
OOC RULES:
- You have 72 hours to complete the battle! If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.
- If you have any questions, please contact either Beejoux or kuropeco privately through AIM or PM!
THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!

The jackass stood confidently center of the ring. General Xenotime had trained him well and he was eager to show off - but his cockiness has been his downfall in the past. He stuck out his tongue and placed his middle finger to its tip, then lowered the finger to his n****e and sizzled a noise. "Ya can't handle all this, b***h! It's on like Donkey Kong!" He proceeded to list of a few other generic obnoxious taunts. HP: 30

The general in question was one of many faces in the crowd surrounding the ring. She would be in attendance to all of her agent's battles, and whether or not they took her presence for moral support or something else entirely was completely up to them and their opinions of themselves in her eyes. Typhon, probably, didn't have much to worry about in that regard. He got on her nerves, often, but his offenses were small things, easily reprimanded and curbed. Obnoxious demeanor aside, he had proven himself as asset.

Unlike her opponent, Moonstone was silent as she entered the ring and took her place; his taunts passed over her like water on a duck - mostly. They were obnoxious, but it wasn't as though she couldn't handle it...after all, she handled Proustite just fine, didn't she?
Finally, when it seemed he was done being a gibbering idiot, she opened her mouth, "Can we get started, or do you have more schoolyard witticisms?"HP: 30

"GIRLS HAVE COOTIES!" he shouted as one final schoolyard taunt before charging forward with a fist raised above his head - alas, a fakeout, as it was his other fist that went slamming towards the ribcage of Captain Moonstone as an attempt for a full-throttle uppercut blow. He knew that his General was watching him - how could anyone take their eyes off this sweet a**? - and he wanted to make her proud. His punishments lately weren't of the fun variety. But like, she was actually mad. Y U MAD THO? ATTACK: 8HP: 30

Who was this idiot? He didn't look like a bratty kid (okay, maybe he did look like a bratty little kid) but wasn't he too old for this sort of childish bullshit? Apparently not. "You need better manners."
It wasn't his raised fist that faked her out and left her taking a full on blow to the ribs, oh no, it was her incredulity at his commentary. Moonstone staggered under the blow, wheezing gracelessly as he forced air from her lungs. Tch, that's one... Lungs burning, Moonstone righted herself slightly while summoning her weapon so she could knock his legs out from under him, aiming for his knees.
The pain in her side kept her from hitting quite as hard as she would have liked, sadly, but it was solid enough to cause some damage - be it from the edges ripping, or just the heavy thud to bone and flesh.HP: 22 / 30 ATTACK: 5Silent Spy he is KILLING me /dying of laughter

General Aurostibite (spectating)
He knew neither of the two participants personally, though Aurostibite had gathered that the blue haired Corrupt was one of Xenotime's - and that he was both loud and abrasive and somewhat offensive in his language, judging by the few times that he had seen him in public. The other was unfamiliar, but just as tough, her expression angry.
Aurostibite came to stand beside Xenotime, a dark brow arched.
"Quite the pair here," he said mildly.

General Xenotime - (Spectating)The fighter sat up straighter as Aurostibite came over to stand beside her, and she smiled up at him before returning her gaze to the match. "Mm, should be a close one." Typhon was her's, she knew how he fought, how tenacious he could be, but she had also seen Moonstone in action enough times now to know not to count the captain out. "If you had to guess, who do you think will come out on top?" Silver eyes gave a very brief flick upward again.

The strike to his knees was effective, off-shifting his balance as he attempted to make another strike towards Captain Moonstone - but instead his attack would only do minimal damage. He needed some distance if he was going to make a more powerful blow the next time. He took a great leap backwards and stood in a defensive position, stretching out two fingers from a fist to tempt her closer - blowing a kiss in her direction. "Come and get me baby," he winked." Typhon took the blow and tried to trade off with her, landing only a glancing strike that was more obnoxious than painful, though she was not pleased to be accepting it either way. As he lept back from her, she took a swing that sadly went wide and missed completely.
Breathe, calm. Trading light blows is not going to win this. Moonstone took a moment to gather herself and take stock of her various injuries - nothing overly concerning, definitely nothing that would keep her from kicking the corrupted senshi's obnoxious a**, if she could just land a good blow.
"You're not charming, just so you know." Settling into a ready stance, she waited to see what the senshi would do next, ready for him. Probably.HP: 21 / 30 MISS!

"Not charming? Oh, right, sure. As if you wouldn't want to blow me," Typhon rejected the notion. Dude was sex on a stick. If he could do himself, he would - and he's tried. Stupid mirrors are so deceptive when drunk and there's always such a smudge. With that wonderful suggestion, he charged forward and slid backwards, skidding on his knees - a tactic to avoid any attacks that may come his way as he swings in low towards her legs. Unfortunately, he overshot and skid right past her only just in reach to hit her ankles as he whizzed by. ATTACK: 3HP: 25/30

HP: 19 / 30 DMG: 0His suggestion - or rather, assumption - that Moonstone would have wanted any sort of physical relationship (beyond bashing his idiot skull in) made bile rise in her throat.
And then the show-boating piece of senshi garbage came skidding over like some stupid rock-star with a microphone or guitar doing one of those 'power slides' that were so popular in 80's hairband music videos and she could not even process the idiocy he was showing; even so, Moonstone swung with her bat - but Typhon blocked it neatly from the odd angle and her weapon slid to one side without causing any damage.

HP: 19 / 30 DMG: 1Being flipped off didn't have much effect on the dark haired woman, she simply twisted and stomped down on the trailing blue hair so it jerked the jerk.
"You needed more spankings as a child."
